The price was very fair. It's a very good company. We have used them for years. They're A in everything. When you call them, they respond quickly. A friend of mine called them on Thanksgiving because her oven broke. They went to their house on Thanksgiving Day and fixed her stove. The guy is amazing.

It was good though the date was mixed up once. It was a mistake but he came out when he said he would eventually. They did a good job and I don't have any complaints. I would use them again. They were a little expensive but most repair men are. I had an amazon box of paper towels -like twenty rolls of paper towels that I buy may be once a year. He opened the box and walked off with one of my rolls- he took it. I would have liked him to ask me because I would have given it to him anyway though I would have preferred him to ask me for it.

Complete rip off!!!!
When initially contacted on phone I explained the symptoms and was told that the service call would be $85 plus whatever part was needed to fix the oven.
He showed up took my oven apart and then told me I would need a bake igniter and the repair would cost $429.
$164 for the part, $180 for labor, and $85 for service call.
He said he had the part in his truck and was prepared to do the job if I agreed to the price.
When I asked him why the price was so high he said he would have to access the part from the back of the oven which would require at least 2 hours of labor. He also would not apply the cost of the service call towards the repair.
Feeling pressured, I expressed my dissatisfaction, had him put the stove back together, and paid his $85
After he left I looked up the problem and it turned out to be a common problem which could be fixed easily without opening the back of the oven in about 30 mins. The igniter cost $68 and I did the repair myself which took me 30 minutes.
I feel that him taking apart my oven and then presenting me with an outrageous estimate was a shakedown. And him needing to take both doors off (double oven) and open the back was for dramatic effect. Also the mark up from $68 to $164 for the part was gouging.
He also went back on his initial word to apply the $85 service call towards the repair.
Avoid this company!!!

Ben was contacted & agreed to install the new ice maker we had purchased online. He was propmpt, professional & installed it quickly. He did mention that our ice maker was made in China & might not work as well as a true Kitchenaide ice maker, but to call him if it didn't & he'd get us a new one. He was so nice! Luckily it works perfectly (so far) We will call Ben again if any of our other appliances need service. He's a great guy!

Ben came around the appointment window and accessed the problem. He said the motor in the ventilation fan needed replacing. He calculated what the repair would cost and what a replacement would cost for me. For an extra $140 I could replace the microwave oven with a new identical one. I figured if the motor on the ventilation fan went bad, how long would it be before the motor in the microwave go too? Ben said the part for the motor could take a week whereas a new one if it is in stock at the GE warehouse, he could come back and install it in 2 days. I was hesitant to replace the old one with the same model but Ben said that this microwave is a good one and even with good ones, sometimes you get a bad one in the bunch. He said a typical microwave oven over the the range type should last about 7-8 years. Ben said I could choose from other brands some less expensive and some more but GE was the only brand modestly priced he has in black to go with the other appliance decor in my kitchen. So I went ahead and told him to order it. He called the warehouse while in my kitchen to make sure GE has one in stock and they did.
The installation costs about the same as the cost for the new microwave, then there was an $85 service charge (he gave me $10 off being an Angie's List member) and I asked him about the $30 coupon I printed off of Angie's List website for services over $250 if that coupon could be applied to my new microwave and Ben said he would take the coupon so my total cost came to $580 of which I had to put $300 deposit down. That may seem a lot for a microwave oven but there was no way I or my husband could have installed it ourselves.
Ben came back 2 days later and installed the new microwave and took the old one with him. He tested and demonstrated how the microwave worked. I was pleasantly surprised with the new version of this model. The new version had some extra features for example an auto lite, and bigger control panel. Now I can read and select the buttons on the control panel with squinting to look at it. The new one also have a removable rack in the oven if you want to heat up more than one thing in the microwave at the same time and the items did not all fit on the carousel roundtable now you can put the extra item on the rack. I asked Ben that I thought you cannot put metal in a microwave, he said this is a special type of material that can be put in a microwave. So I was very happy with that. I just hope this one will last a lot longer than my old one. The whole installation and demonstration lasted less than 30 minutes.
Throughout the whole process, Ben was courteous, patient and very professional. The only thing I could like to see changed is that Ben itemize the installation, cost of the microwave and sale tax on the invoice instead of lumping them in one price. He showed it to me when he came 2 days earlier. He scribbled on the back of his invoice pad, but I could not remember what each of those costs were 2 days later. I guess I could have asked him again and note it on the invoice somewhere. He did itemized the service call charge and discounts on the invoice.

Story still to come. He has been responsive, but the issue has not been fixed.

The oven part of my gas range stopped working and the problem was in the electrical control panel. I stopped by Speedy's location to make arrangements, and a repair person showed up soon after and did the work. I don't know what a fair price is for this job but their price seemed to be within reason and the service was excellent. They will be my first call for appliance repair in the future.-Armen

They did a good job and I'm very satisfied with the work. The only question I had about the service was the cost and if there was a senior discount.

They did not diagnose the problem correctly. They told me I need a new dishwasher but when my son-in-law came in he fixed it in five minutes. I was not happy with them. They were punctual and they were friendly but they did not diagnose the correct problem. They told me that I need a new dishwasher. I did not call them back but I should have. I would not use their services again in the future.

The company was very responsive and would have come the day I called if it had been convenient for us. We scheduled the service call for a couple of days later. Our refrigerator is 11 years old and was leaking water from the freezer into the vegetable bins. We anticipated that they would tell us we needed a new refrigerator. The service tech told us that the drain line needed to be cleaned and that our refrigerator was in good condition otherwise. Although the company does sell appliances, they did not try to get us to purchase a new one. I believed them to be honest and fair.

They were really quick and did a good job. There was an actual person who answered the phone instead of just a recording when I called them, which was nice. I wouldn?t be able to comment on their price since I don?t remember the price and I don?t have anything to compare it to. I don?t really remember when they came. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

He was punctual, polite and professional. I probably should have just replaced it, but he was trying to save me money. I'm the type of person who usually replaces stuff at the first sign of trouble - but he's your go-to-guy if you're the type who wants to squeeze every last breath out of an appliance.

Fine overall but he left water on my hardwood floors and did not clean it up. He also left the wooden packing material in the middle of the living room when he left.

It felt like I paid a lot of money for such a quick visit that did not change my situation (my washer is still broken), but guess I was saved the expense of a costly repair on an older appliance when I could spend the same money and buy a new one, and the technician's experience allowed him to make a quick diagnosis.
