Outstanding attention to detail in sanding and staining ~2,500 sq ft to a completely different color as part of pre-sale prep. Daily progress reports and discussion of plan for the next day were great confidence builders. Did post job work through with owner with no discrepancies and promise of follow up after buyers move in, in case they mar the absolutely gorgeous floors.

I am very happy with my recent hardwood floor installation by Prospect, and I set a very high bar for any 3rd parties that I work with. I chose Prospect because of their Angie's List Super Service award and consistently great reviews and I was not disappointed. Jodi was especially helpful in organizing multiple aspects of the project and always stayed closely in touch (she called within 1 hour of my request for an estimate!). The installers did a wonderful job, moved furniture as needed, worked an extra long day to complete the job in 1 day, and were very respectful of my home. I noticed a few small issues several days after the installation; Jodi and Mike were able to get me help right away with all issues fixed to my satisfaction within 1 day. I will be working with Prospect in the future to have more sections of my home updated to hardwood.

I hired someone else to refinish my hardwoods, but after 2 days on the job I realized the helpers did not have the right equipment nor the expertise to do a proper job. They were making a huge mess and ruining my floors. I was desperate to find a company that could remedy the situation. I found Prospect Hardwood Flooring online. Great reviews and close proximity made me decide to call them - best decision I have ever made! I contacted them via email and Jodi called me back immediately. That afternoon Mike came over to assess my floors and give me an estimate to do the work. He assured me everything would be okay, and it was better than okay. His crew came in a few days later with the right equipment and know-how. They started from scratch sanding over the mess the other guys left, replacing damaged floor boards, working in tandem to stain and polyurethane the floors to avoid streaking like the other guys left. They were fast and efficient, very polite, and cleaned up well. Jodi called me at least twice a day checking on the progress and seeing if i had any questions. After the job was finished, Mike came to inspect the job and give me tips about hardwood care. Anyone looking to have hardwood floor work done would be wise to call Prospect Hardwood Flooring. Their pricing is very reasonable, the quality of their work superb, and their customer service and professionalism exceptional. I now love my floors!

This company was referred to me by a neighbors' friend, who had never used them, but had heard they do a great job. I have to say, from the time of the estimate with Mike, to the finished project, the company was terrific. We had the entire downstairs oak floors refinished in two phases over about a week. The work crews were always on time and pleasant, Jodi from the office staff called everyday to let me know what was happening the following day and Mike was very responsive to any questions I had. In fact, I noticed a small area of the living room floor that just didn't look right, Mike came by to see it, and had a guy come that day to make it right. I would highly recommend this company. jps
