They were punctual and got the work done quickly. I did appreciate him telling me how to fix the other problem myself.

Crew came on time and cleaned up after themselves. They stayed until the job was done and made sure everything was running right before they left. The salesperson called to follow up. Everyone was professional and seemed to care about us and the job they performed.

The Blue Dot consultant came to our house twice before we made a decision, was punctual, and very professional. He was patient and helpful as we had a lot of questions and gave us detailed explanations. The work was done as planned on the day and within the time frame promised. The team was professional and efficient. They took care in not damaging anything and got rid of all debris. We wished we had been aware of the size of the outdoor unit (bigger than the old one) ahead of time so we could have planned to move it to a different location. We got 3 estimates total. Blue Dot's was the lowest. Despite the BG&E increase our electric bill this past summer were similar or less than in Summer 2006. The system is very efficient.

The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't tell me that the new faucet would not have the same capabilities as the old one. I just wish I would have known. Otherwise, I am extremely happy with their work and do recommend them. Actually, I already have. They didn't sell me things I didn't need and they minimized the amount of carpentry I would need to do. They did a very professional job and I appreciate the quality of the work they did.

The furnace stopped working. This happened last year, and the serviceman suspected the igniter, but after examining it the system started up. This time the serviceman came out and found a piece of rust shorting out the filament. The furnace is 20 years old and small pieces of rust are forming and falling down (apparently quite common). I suspect this was the problem last year without it being identified. As this was the weekend the fee was higher than usual, but I feel the serviceman did an excellent job. He not only identified the problem, but also thoroughly checked the system out (it is too old for a service contract from anyone), and did a good job of explaining this problem as well as the general state of the system.

They were awesome and great. They came on time, cleaned up after they were finished, and also communicated well. There price was very reasonable compared with other service providers.

Very happy with the company. The sales person (Chuck Carey) was a very knowledgeable person, and not just a sales person like some other companies. He was able to answer all my questions. I had 3 estimates and their price was the lowest (even before the $1000 rebate from the manufacturer of heat pump, Carrier). The installers came on time and did a good job installing the system. My installation was a special condition where it required installing the system in a very tight space. When the installers (Doug and Tom) ran into some problems, they were not shy calling calling their supervisor for help. later the field manager (Roth)and the sales person (Chuck) both dropped by to inspect the job. I am not sure if this is a common practice by blue dot, but I liked the fact that they came by to check on the job (especially the sales person! Since his job was done long time ago!). Any way, overall, they get a grade of "P" for a "perfect job" done.

Glenn Corbin did a thorough evaluation of the type of system our house needed. He is very knowledgeable about his product. Work was done on time, and workers were neat and clean. We got a high efficiency system with a $600 rebate.

Boiler installation was efficient and done on time. Transportation damage to a boiler wall and improperly installed burner cover was addressed in a reasonable amount of time, well before heating season. Minor damage to a cabinet top was not addressed by the company (owner fixed it finally). At start of heating season, owner found wiring to two heating zones was crossed and company could not get out to fix it immediately. This caused inconvenience and some added heating cost (not cheap at $3.00 a gallon).

I use Blue Dot for my HVAC work. They do a good job for me and thought I would try them first for my plumbing problem. The Plumber they sent out was great but he was concerned that he would create more problems than he could handle with the old copper soil lines in my 1960's split level. He got me lined up with their estimator quickly. The estimator that Blue Dot sent out was on time, but I was not especially impressed as he seemed awfully impressed with himself. He did the survey on a Wednesday morning and promised to get me a quote by Friday morning. Friday morning came and went, no quote. I called him Friday afternoon and he called me back pleading a family emergency. So ok, stuff happens. He then promised a quote first thing Monday. He did leave me a voice mail Monday morning, again promising the quote. I finally received a handwritten quote at 3:52 p.m. on Monday. For over 25% ($4,100.00) more than the next highest bid.

Great!!! Service tech showed up. Within 15 minutes he figured out what was wrong. About another 10 minutes, he replaced a part in the furnace. System has been running great ever since. Thanks Marty...

I wasted my time calling this company because I could never get my estimate from them.

We have been told that we may need a new heating and A/C system. Our home inspector says that our current system is serviceable and may have more life. We called Blue Dot based on Angie's list rating. Someone in sales dept. called back right away and said that based on the age of our system, it would have to be totally replaced. They did not want to see it. They would send a salesman to give me a quote on a new system, but would charge me $79 to send out someone knowledgeable to assess whether or not it needs to be replaced at all. They are the only company that wanted to charge me for assessment or sell me something whether I needed it or not. Unfortunately, they just lost my business.

All went well. Job took about 6 hours with 3 men.

It took this company two visits to get it working. They did not have the parts that were needed on their truck. I thought their response time was terrible. It took awhile for me to get an appointment. They did end up doing a good job though and the ice maker works now.

Blue Dot is an around quality company. They have very good customer service and arrive on time for the job. They were done in record time and were very careful to make sure they cleaned up well. The workers were friendly and helpful and it was a most pleasant experience.

I was extremely happy with the quality of service from Blue Dot Heating Service. When they came out to give the quote, the salesman was very informative, not pushy at all, was very helpful by giving us several options to choose from. When the technicians came out to install it they were very professional, knowledgeable, and cleaned up everything nicely. I know they gave us the best deal at the most affordable price.

I was very pleased with the work done. I have also used their services to take care of some of the plumbing in a house that my son owns. He lives out of state and I am the landlord of his house. I feel Blue Dot has always been very accommodating and professional.

I found them to be extremely reliable, efficient and they did an overall good job. This was not the first time I have used this company and there were no surprises that came up. I pay a yearly contract fee of about $275 dollars.

Blue Dot are our regular service people for the heating and air conditioning in our house. They are always reliable and have provided us with good service. They are very pleasant service men and are honest with us about what is going on with the system. I would recommend them to others.

The AC unit has been efficient and is cooling the entire house. I was pleased with the process and the team. The only thing I need to complete the job is the butterfly damper. Did I mention that in the prior response? The company appears to find customer satisfaction and follow up an important part of their business.

Went well. Thorough in inspection. Answered all questions. Never minded me hovering around to learn more. Always felt answers were direct and fact-bases (on experience) even though tech was younger than other techs may come across. Total about 2.5 hours. Was in contact with main office to apprise and to pass on information as unit was inspected. At end outlined options of replacement as well as repair and estimated prices. Was able to set time up for a 2nd individual (free visit) to come to home to price new system so we could price compare. Additionally, went we 1st called, operator was helpful in providing suggestions that could be done before scheduling time/price for a tech.

Received an estimate on Friday and company was able to install the following Saturday. Installer called the night before to ask if he could begin earlier than the arranged start time. Job was completed within the time estimate. Installers were very knowledgeable and very professional. Would highly recommend them. Final install price was equal to the estimate. No hidden fees or charges. Nice experience with this install.

Salesman gave three choices. We chose the most expensive upgrade, to bring home to the best environmental standards. Salesman was courteous, educated and not pushy. Would highly recommend the company for AC and heating systems. Our AC broke on the 21st of June, they installed the new system July 5th. They also loaned us a window unit while we waited. The installers were quick, seemed to know what they were doing and cleaned up afterward. A true rare find here in Maryland where MOST businesses seem to only want to rip you off and do a bad job.

I called and they were the first to respond to my call and sent a technician the next day. They have a four hour time window for work and they were about to run out of time for the first day and I had to leave the property. There dispatcher support was very helpful and gave me the next possible time slot that was of my convenience. They allowed for one of my tenants to sign and I paid over the phone. Overall they had a great level of service and I will continue to business with them.
