Was told, I had to pay $50 for them to come out and see what was wrong. I didn't mind paying that. The man broke the pipe worse than what it was. Didn't fix it before he left and charged me $189 For attempting to fix the pipe. This all happened in less than 10 minutes. I will never call these people again. How do you go from $50 to $189 in 10 minutes after breaking something worse than it was.

They were amazing they quoted exactly 50% Lower than the next two other quotes, and in fact, one of the other contractors, did not do concrete work Became fixed the main all the way to the city connection replaced all the concrete and fix the sidewalk outside of my home. Not a spot of a mess was left behind and they did this within 48 hours.

Eric Coach from Abott’s Plumbing was very informative and helpful. I would highly recommend. We called yesterday and they came and fixed it within 24 hours. I am extremely grateful and thankful for this service!

Plumbing work was decent enough. Read the contract - especially when it comes to the lack of liability on construction work - and any damage they may do.

Very happy with the price and the results. Waiting til Spring for the final leveling of the yard but so far so good. I would recommend them.

Awsome job redoing the line. Wish clean up and leveling of yard was better but I'm happy with the results and price. Definitely would recommend this firm.

This was a difficult project with many unforeseen problems. Abbott stuck through it all.

My guy at Abbott’s was very professional. He came to look at my pipes. First we had the sewer line camered to see if there were any issues. He gave me a good price. We didn’t even need to repair the sewer line so I was thankful. The guy was very helpful and talked with me through other possible issues I may have. He cleaned up and headed out after providing great service. I’ll go with Abbott if I have any other plumbing needs. Thank you

Our experience was a positive one. We were thinking we needed to replace the sewer line and Abbott quickly diagnosed the problem as a clogged up line vs a job that needed the sewer line replaced. Very happy with their knowledge and customer service.

They came out and proved everything was OK and fixed everything like they were supposed to.

this company is worth its weight in gold. I called them in the morning and they sent out a guy named Rich in the afternoon. He called me and explained everything in detail of what he was going to do and after the work was completed he explained everything in detail again. the price was on point. I would use and refer this company whenever possible. thank you so much for being a reputable company .

On 12/10/19, I had drain cleaning service done ($480.00) on my Kitchen drain that was backed up during the Thanksgiving holiday. The plumber said the **free camera inspection** was not possible due to the drain being too narrow. This was disappointing as I would have liked to see where and what the clog was in the line that he would be clearing. The plumber cleaned the pipe ($150 per ft) and the issue appeared to be resolved as the sink was draining properly. The plumber let me know that I should not have an issue for some time. He asked me to make sure not to dump cooking oil or fatty foods down the drain, and if I did to follow it up with boiling water. I never put any cooking oil down the drain, so I thought I would be OK. Two weeks later on 12/24/19, the same issue is back. I called Abbotts plumbing to see if they warranty their work, as it had only been two weeks. I was told that drain backup is not covered and I would need to pay to have the plumber come out, even though it is the same issue. I did not put anything down the drain other than dishwater and I cannot afford to have the same work done only to have it possibly happen again. It is disappointing that Abbott does not warranty the work done by their plumbers. I called another plumber (Scardina) that stands behind their work for 90 days, even drain cleaning. They are going to use a camera to make sure it is an actual blockage in the pipe and what is causing it, so I know for sure. Very disappointed customer.

I called Abbott's Plumbing at 10:00 a.m. for a shower repair, a slow-draining tub, and a leaky sink. By noon everything was fixed and for a very reasonable price. I am delighted with the efficient response and the knowledgeable workers!

After not receiving any replies from another contractor, Abbott's Plumbing responded very quickly. The free estimate was conducted in less than 24 hours of contact. The water main had to be replaced and the work was done in a timely and professional manner. The work crew kept me informed of the progress at various stages due to complications. Even with those complications that required getting Baltimore City involved with the project, the job was completed in just 2 days. I was pleasantly surprised that the City reacted so expeditiously. I might attribute that to an excellent rapport that Abbott's Plumbing must have with Baltimore City Water. The job commenced on a Thursday and was completed the next day on Friday. The outside temperatures on both days were in the 95°F+ range. The only knock on the whole project that I might note is that it was about 10 days after water was restored before the finishing touches were completed. This involved filling in the last 3 feet of the trench to the meter and then covering the exposed dirt with a mesh blanket to prevent the soil from washing away. In my opinion, Abbott's did an excellent job and I would recommend them without reservation.

I had a water main replaced in front of my townhouse. They did a great job. They did a good job putting back the soil and seeding the yard too

These guys gave me a prompt estimate that covered everything we would need to have done. I liked that they provided a maximum price quote rather than a minimum. That showed that they really knew what sort of things to expect on the job. They re-plumbed my entire sewer drain and ran new line out to the street in under a week. From Rich's estimate to the team that came out (Jeff and KA), everybody with this company was awesome.

I recieved prompt courteous service from my free estimate to the completion of my project. My only recommendation is the work crew wear something over their feet when coming back and forth in the house.Great job!

We met with Rich, an he was extremely knowledgeable about sewer systems and was quickly able to identify the potential issues in ours. He was nice enough to educate us on what to do to fix the issues we were having. We will be coming back to Abbott’s next time we need a plumber.

These guys showed up promptly, took care of the immediate problem (toilet backup) and told me what I needed to do to fix the problem permanently (old sewer tiles had broken and collapsed, plus roots were growing into the pipes). A few months later I had them come out and do the big job. Great work! Very nice!

I did not hire them for main line service. It was not what I needed. I did hire them to replace a pop-up assembly for the bathroom vanity. There was also a broken cold handle which I thought only needed a new stem. It wasn't included in the estimate which I agreed to. The whole faucet had to be replaced. The service completed was good. It just cost more than was expected.
