The company scheduled an appointment the same week we called and gave us a firm price (working with our insurance carrier). They were supposed to arrive between noon and 5:00 but were available earlier (around 11) and called to offer to come to my workplace to do the repair. I work not far from home, so I drove there instead. The install was done quickly -- about 20 minutes -- and they even removed and rplaced my city and state inspection stickers, saving me a trip to City Hall. The car was clean and the windshield seems to be working perfectly (no air or water leaks). The only small glitch was that we asked for our wiper blades to be replaced, but that wasn't on the work order and there weren't any on his truck, so it wasn't done. Still, I'd use this firm again if I ever need a windshield replaced or repaired.

Scheduled an appointment with the Safelite in Sterling, VA. People manning the desk were very friendly and helpful. Repair done within an hour. Only disappointment is that the chip is still visible even though repaired. Their work comes with a guarantee for as long as you own the vehicle. If decide to replace windshield in the future the cost of repair will be applied to cost of new one.

On the fist attempt the installer put the new glass on the car but then broke it. Safelite came back the next day with a second piece and completed the job. There was no increase in price just a bit of aggrivation. I would still use them again.

Mad an appointment and they fixed the windshield at our house at the scheduled time. Happy with Service.

The work was done as promised. I love the fact that I was able to go on-line late at night and schedule an early appointment for the next morning. None of the other glass repair shops gave us that option. The price was exactly as quoted and the window replaced in a timely fashion.

My appointment was scheduled almost immediately. Upon arrival, work started at once and was done in less than 90 minutes while I waited. The result was beautiful and there have been no problems such as leaks or squeaks. The technician was superb. Hopefully he is still there.

I scheduled the appointment online. Actually, I tried to schedule windshield repair service for both of our cars online, but got a message when trying to schedule for the second car (there was no way to do this in one scheduling session) that someone would call me to discuss. No one ever did. The technician arrived within the arranged time window (8 am to noon) on the scheduled date. It was a Saturday appointment, which was nice. I asked him then if he could repair windshields on two cars, and he could not because only one was on his list. The repair was quick and looks fine. It's just a shame that I have to call for a second visit to repair the windshield in our other car.

The entire experience was positive. In advance of the appointment, Safelite emailed me a picture of the technician so I would know whom to expect (much appreciated). The job was done quickly and neatly (the tech even very nicely removed my velcro strips for my EZ pass from my old windshield for me), and for exactly the price quoted.

Safelite Auto Glass arrived when they said they would. I stood out there and watched the technician do the job. I was just amazed! It was excellent! He knew what he was doing. He worked quickly. When he was done, you wouldn't even have known anything happened to the windshield. He cleaned up after himself good. His prices were reasonable, considering the materials and labor.

I called the Safelite 800 number in the morning upon reaching work, where my windshield had been smashed in a parking lot accident. They usually can have their techs come out to you, however on a Monday, all their appointments were booked. I needed it fixed same day, so they identified the Capitol Heights location as having an afternoon appointment available. I ended up calling them back several times to change my preference of time/location and ended up with an afternoon appointment at the Bethesda location. Each rep had no trouble finding my record, and they were all extremely courteous and seemingly not frustrated with my multiple calls and changes. When I noted that their online estimate was $50 cheaper than the one they quoted on the phone, they matched it no questions asked. When I arrived at the store, the guy behind the desk had my paperwork waiting, and I was told it would be 1.5-2 hours. I was able to walk around the corner to a restaurant with wi-fi and work there. When I arrived 2 hours later, the car was done and my paperwork was waiting again. The staffer was friendly and helpful. My car was also immaculately vacuumed out, no remaining glass was visible. This was among the smoothest business service transactions I have had in some time. I was disappointed that they were unable to have a same-day "come to you" appointment, however it turned out to be a good experience.

It was the company my auto insurance goes through. They are fabulous. I have used them before. They are very straight forward. As far as I know, their price is reasonable.

The technician was prompt, professional, thorough and very helpful. After finishing he explained that additional glass would probably fall out through the door, so we should vacuum again after a few weeks.

We had a little situation with them putting the windshield in and it cracked but they fixed it and were sorry about it. It turned out fine and it looks perfect.

We signed up for an estimate on-line and got a call back within the time frame we specified. They were able to schedule us right away. We chose to take the car to the store, though they have the option of coming to your house as well. They did the work right on time, while we waited. The estimate was on-target, except for taxes, but no surprises. Very professional.

Wonderful experience! National call center amiably quoted price of $280 (reasonable!) and arranged for same-day service in local shop. Upon my arrival the manager advised that the final price would be $32 less than original quote and readily started work. Job was completed in less than a half hour.

Very good experience. I booked the appointment late on Sunday on the web for 9:00am Monday morning. They were waiting for me, with all the information already having been transferred and finished the job in about 45 minutes.

Service was great. The ability to set up an appointment on line was nice.

The work was done in our garage on a Saturday morning. The Safelite technician was very polite and the results were much better than I expected. The 0.5 inch star was gone and the only thing visible was the small hole which is now filled but not clear.

Safelite worked seamlessly with my insurance company, sent two polite and professional workers to my home just one day after I first called them, and those guys replaced my windshield in about 15 minutes. All it cost me was the time it took to make two phone calls- one to Safelite and one to my insurance company.

Very good. I had forgotten to leave payment, and they called me and took the credit card over the phone.

COMPANY SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. THEY CAME TO MY WORK LOCATION, WHEN SCHEDULED. THEY NOTIFIED ME PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, PERFORMED THE REPLACEMENT QUICKLY THE FIRST TIME AND CLEANED UP THOROUGHLY AFTER WORK.

WHEN I NEEDED TO REPLACE THE WINDSHIELD IN MY PICKUP, I CALLED THE LOCAL OFFICE OF SAFELITE AUTO GLASS. BECAUSE IT WAS MORE CONVENIENT FOR ME TO SCHEDULE THE REPAIRS DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS, THE LAUREL OFFICE REFERRED MY WORK ORDER TO A LOCATION CLOSER TO MY EMPLOYMENT. I WAS UNCERTAIN ABOUT THE TYPE OF GLASS I NEEDED, THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN BROUGHT 2 DIFFERENT GLASSES TO THE SITE TO COMPARE. THE REPAIRMAN WAS ON TIME FOR MY SCHEDULED REPAIR AND PERFORMED THE SERVICE WITH NO DISRUPTION TO MY WORKDAY.
