VERY HONEST!!!!! I purchased this service for my elderly mom who had a couple of drop by mildew specialists vendors tell her that she was in grave danger. The crooks all indicated she had massive mildew and mold and even told my mom her life was in danger. MOLD GONE was very upfront, very honest and very friendly. There were some mildew concerns as my mom knew there would be, but it was no were near the level that the previous company told her. Will definitely use this company again. It's so refreshing to deal with honest businesses!

Tim was running late but was very apologetic and clearly cared about being late. He did a quick inspection and certified that there was no mold. Since he was late and the inspection was so easy/brief - he didn't charge for the visit. I would absolutely use these guys again. They are top notch.

Vendor was prompt, courteous and professional. Inspected interior and exterior area with moisture meter to identify source of water infiltration and mold. Has made a proposal for remediation that I will likely accept.

Jon was able to stop by between appointments, to take a look at our laundry room. Since we were in the middle of replacing the floor, needed someone to come in fast so we can continue with new floor. Jon came in, did a quick review and provided enough information for us to continue by ourselves. Responsive, honest and great service, without attempting to up-sell or scare us.

Jon and his team were very professional. Estimate was delivered quickly via email and the work was completed on schedule. Premises were left clean.

These guys are a class act. We called three companies and found that Mold Gone was the most reasonably priced, no-frills, no-nonsense company we talked to. I worked directly with Joe, the President, and he was always responsive to my concerns. He answered my emails and calls immediately and set up the remediation promptly. The team, managed by Kevin, was just as professional and responsive as Joe. They very quickly removed the affected drywall, cleaned and sealed the wood framing, rebuilt the entire area to look like new, fogged the room, and wiped down ALL things that could be wiped down in the room. After they completed their work, I wanted them to address a couple of additional issues, and they did that for me cheerfully and diligently. They were polite, honest, and hardworking?everything anyone would want from a contractor. After the remediation, I had concerns about a spot that I thought needed to be retreated. Joe came over personally. He treated the area, encapsulated it, and gave us a free bottle of solution for treating mold growth. He then took an air sample to make sure that the area was safe. He did not charge us for the air sample. Here's the remarkable part: When the test came back showing poor air quality and high mold count, Joe was completely honest with us. He shared the report and returned to figure out a solution. Fortunately, the solution turned out to be simple, the area just needed some extensive air scrubbing. Joe?s team conducted another test several days after the air scrubbing and the test came back with excellent results. Other companies we talked to alarmed and frightened us with their analysis. Joe and his team were extremely knowledgeable, reasonable, and professional. They did not try to prey on our fears, instead, they were reassuring and they delivered that they promised. We had a great experience, and we would use them again.

I was very pleased with how the person who came out handled everything. They did not try to get us to buy or do anything unnecessary. He made several helpful recommendations on how we could best fix our issues after the roof is repaired. He carefully explained the best plan of action to rectify our problems. He also looked over some more of the house, besides just the problem areas I knew about, just to be sure that there weren't more problems I didn't know about. He was very punctual, very courteous and professional. I would highly recommend their service to anyone.

Provided information about the life cycle of mold, what he would be looking for, and how remediation is performed. He explained how the air samples are tested, what levels were considered low, medium, and high, and what information is provided in the lab analysis. We were prepared to pay for an inspection of our entire home. He asked why we scheduled an appointment and we explained how we stumbled onto the mold and examined the location. He suggested a LESS expensive service that would be more appropriate to our situation. Mold Gone may have lost a few dollars on this call but it's nice to see a company taking the long term view that honesty and fairness will ultimately result in increased business due to repeat business and enhanced reputation.

I became worried about mold growth after a minor flood in the finished, carpeted basement of my row home in South Baltimore. I called and Jon Gordon came out in just a few hours--talk about a great response time! The basement had just dried out and he found a drywall area that was registering relatively high humidity. He recommended that I have him come back out in a week, which I did, to happily discover that the area was dry. While Jon was here, he took a look around the rest of my basement and identified minor mold growth on the underside of my wooden basement stairs. He told me I could take care of it myself using a commercial product available over the counter, and he wrote down the product name and the store where I could find it. I really appreciated that he not only found a problem I hadn't anticipated but didn't try to sell me on a service for something I could address myself. Jon also gave me great advice about keeping a dehumidifier running year-round to inhibit mold growth, which could happen even in a normally dry basement like mine. Overall my experience with MoldGone was outstanding. They were very easy to contact--both by phone and e-mail. During both visits Jon was extremely pleasant and professional, and quickly and competently assessed the situation. The fee was really low for the quality of the inspection and advice I received. I highly recommend MoldGone to anyone who might need this type of service, and I would definitely call them again in the future. Thank you, Jon! They did a really good job. They were on time, polite, easy to work with, explained things very well, and laid out a detailed plan to diagram everything they were going to do.

Everything went like clock work exactly as promised. Technicians were ultra professional in executing this project!!

Jon came by (on schedule) and did a great job answering all my questions about a recent leak that I had in my home. He helped me to realize that my situation wasn't as dire as I thought. He also provided some great advice about where my leak may be coming from in my home. For now, I feel that Jon provided me with a peace of mind that my home didn't have mold in it.

Jon was great. He worked around our crazy work schedule and came early in the morning. He did a thorough check and determined everything was ok and didn't charge us a dime. Love not being talked into unnecessary work. He was professional and on time. When we do have a problem, I will definitely be calling him back.

He was very professional and made some recommendations for our contractor. Luckily he did not find evidence of a mold problem. Very positive experience.

MoldGone saved us over $5,000. Another company, an A rated, gave us the 5,000. estimate. We called MoldGone. They came, saw that the mold problem was so minor that they left us a small amount of fungicide for us to do the job. Jon was very professional and helpful. He was not here to sell his service but really point out to us what we need. He provide us with recommendation on how to control the mold smell in our large shed and mentioned that we should not pay for the service if we are not planning to use the area for living space. If we need mold remediation service in the future we will definitely call him back.

Sometimes it's better to judge a company by how they fix mistakes, then by their successes. I was extremely impressed with Mold Gone. When they made a mistake on their inspection report, they were apologetic, fair, honest, and quick to correct themselves.

Jon came out today for a a free inspection of a mold issue beneath a window in our soon to be nursery. He did a very thorough job compared to the other contractor I called for an estimate. After assessing the wall for moisture and looking at the window, he told me that problem is minimal likely old and that we could easily fix it ourselves!! He even told us the steps we should follow and wrote the name of the product he uses. His assessments were confirmed by the other company. Furthermore, when I asked Jon for a rough estimate for Mold Gone to do the repairs, he quoted us LESS THAN half the other company did! Mold Gone seems to care more about the long game of building customer trust than for making a quick buck. It is refreshing. I will be recommending them to everyone I know.
