It went fine, I'm think about having some service for repair work done by them.

He accessed our crawl space in the attic to check for mold. Since there was none, he waived the fee.

The results were great. We were very impressed with the knowledge and the thoroughness of the representative. He spent a considerable amount of time examining our entire home, including the basement and attic. In places where he couldn't visually ascertain moisture, he was able to check by meter. We were very pleased with the results. The walls of the basement even tested dryer than normal. The inspection was well worth the cost of service and we appreciate the integrity of the representative of Mold Gone.

He was terrific. He didn't try to up-sell us and really helped alleviate a lot of our concerns around the potential of mold in our home. He was on-time, knowledgeable and very friendly. A real pleasure to work with.

Jon was very professional, showed up on time. Even though I had ordered a full service checkup worth $450, he did basic testing and concluded there was no serious problem. He ended up charging me $50 for a basic visit. Jon knew what he was talking about, gave good recommendations, and was very honest. I definitely recommend him.

Mike and Joe and their team were super! We had a cracked drain pipe that affected a large portion of a finished basement. They removed all of the cabinets and walls affected - isolated the area and removed the mold prior to the plumbers coming in to do their repair work. They were very responsive and easy to work with and very accommodating allowing us to coordinate with the plumbing schedules. Once the pipe was repaired, the new walls and cabinets went up and the room was painted. We are very pleased with the end result. We really enjoyed working with Mike and Joe - they are the epitome of customer service - thanks guys :=)

Joe Mulieri is a consummate professional and his company did an excellent job for us. Joe treated us and our home with respect, and was extremely responsive to a number of short-notice requests. In our experience, it has been tough to provide service providers that we can trust, but in Joe's case, his ethics and trustworthiness are top notch. Jon Gordon came to our home this morning to analyze a mold situation in our kitchen. Our dishwasher had a slow leak that had caused mold to grow underneath the cabinets. Some of it is visible on particleboard bottom of a lower cabinet. Knowing that we'd be renovating our kitchen in a few years and that the mold is dormant and mostly contained behind/beneath the cabinets, Jon told us how to conservatively deal with the mold at this time. He recommended the products that his company uses and told us how to apply them to the affected services. Jon charged us $0.00. He was extremely helpful and professional. I would absolutely recommend this company.

Jon was prompt, took a good look, and ended up charging a very affordable visit fee after finding no evidence of anything that needed remediation. He also had good advice along the way (such as taking down non-essential drywall in a basement, since it can become a home for mold). Friendly guy; I recommend him.

He was very prompt. He had e-mailed me a couple days ahead and let me know he would be here between 1:00-4:00 pm. He was very professional and had a great attitude. He checked my whole house and did everything he needed to do to determine if there was mold in my house. There was not and Jon assured me everything was okay. Jon was very informative and explained things to me in a way I could understand. I cannot not say enough good things about his professionalism. I was so pleased with Jon and the way he handled his work and the way he dealt with me as a person. I was so happy with the results. I have never been as pleased with any other repairs that have ever been done on my home as I was with Jon. I felt very at ease with him.

It only took 6 days and they did it very quickly. I paid them 4000 dollars and I am very satisfied and they took care of the mold. It was a positive experience and I appreciate what they did. They stayed in contact with me.

I was allowed to see the mold inside my walls. I got a good sense of the extent of the problem, so I trusted the estimate.

The visit went extremely well! No drama! The inspector showed up on time and performed his duties and forwarded the results of the inspection and remediation estimate to me as promised. So relieved that I didn't have to go through any drama or foolishness. The work that has to be done is important work, due to my health concerns, and due to the air-quality in my home. I sought to get other estimates, but to be honest I rather just get the work done correctly, thoroughly, and properly so that I can get back into my home!

I contacted Mold Gone on Friday, Aug. 15th (2014), received a message from Jon Gordon, VP of Business Development, on Sunday, Aug. 17th, and he was at our house on Monday, Aug. 18th to perform the inspection. The $125 coupon on Angie's list was only supposed to be for a comprehensive visual inspection, but because it said a "comprehensive mold inspection" - Jon honored the price and included the air sample analysis (even though I offered to pay extra for that portion). We received our results from Jon and the lab the following week. Everything went so smoothly and Jon was such a pleasure and so professional that I wish we needed more of this company's services (but relieved we don't at the same time). If we had needed remediation, then I would have stuck with them. I've developed some crazy lung problems over the last year and having a comprehensive mold inspection was part of the process of elimination in determining the cause. Jon recommended that we start using dehumidifiers religiously - which we have. They've made a huge difference in the air quality of our home (and I can't believe how much water those things suck out of the house - it's crazy). It is this kind of exceptional service that I expect to receive from companies I hire through Angie's list. Unfortunately, some experiences just don't go as smoothly as this one did. If you are searching for a mold remediation company, look no further. This company will take good care of you without any BS.

The Mold Gone staff was very efficient, thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. They could have easily charged me an exorbitant price but they were very honest. They stated that the area did not need remediation. Because of their honesty, they did not get a mold remediation contract but they earned my trust. If my neighbors, family, or friends need mold inspection or remediation, I would feel very comfortable highly recommending Mold Gone.

I needed to have mold removed from a portion of my basement concrete wall and a section of a piece of drywall. I received an estimate for the mold remediation and scheduled the appointment for a week later. The crew came on time, finished ahead of the estimated completion time, and did a thorough clean up job.

Jon was excellent and very informative. He shared a lot of important points on mold remediation.

I did not end up working with this company and got a refund for the big deal.

I thought the entire team was great and generally lean towards an A rating; however there were two smallish issues that drove me to the B rating; removal of subfloor was not as "clean" as it could have been since there were many fragments left under door threshold that we took great pains to remove completely in order to put subfloor back. The next issue was that they did not attempt to save the floor trim/quarter round which was totally salvagable and costly for me to purchase again when we re-installed the floor. I do take partial responsibility though since I should have thought to ensure this but I was overwhelmed in general from the whole mold and water damage thing. But in general, I would expect the team to think of these details to earn the highest service rating since that is above and beyond service to me. Regardless I do think they did a great job overall and would definitely recommend them. If I could give an A- vs A+ then I would have given A- !!

Our condo was under contract and we knew there was a small bit of mold under the kitchen sink. Turns out it was actually a very big issue. Mike came and gave us the evaluation and estimate, and explained that the mold was probably in the drywall behind multiple cabinets rather than just being confined to the sink cabinet. His crew got in and determined the leak was from the building's pipes (rather than from our unit's pipes) and ultimately our building called in a plumber to replace a cracked pipe which had been causing this slow leak for years. Both Mike & Joe talked to our buyer to assure him that it was under control and being fixed. Joe was incredibly flexible with this unexpected delay and had his team come back on the weekend to finish the job since he knew we'd been without a kitchen for almost a week rather than the 2 days we expected. It is so comforting to know that the job was done correctly--we walked into the kitchen the day everything was completed, and for the first time in 5 days we were not overwhelmed by the smell of mildew. From start to finish, Joe & Mike were honest and professional, and we knew we were in good hands.

Mike Mulieri evaluated our mold problem in a small area in the basement. We found that some of the items we had stored were wet and mildewed and strong smell of mold. Had no idea whether this was a big or small issue and even possibly dangerous. Mike was prompt and cordial. Identified himself at the door, gave me his card. Long story short. He evaluated the problem and turns out it was minor. Pointed out what he was and wasn't observing so we understood. Gave us advice about how to wipe down the area, but said it wasn't necessary to hire his company. Who says that!? He goes to the top of my list for any future mold issues. I understand that this is a business decision for him. Probably isn't worth it to send a crew for such a small job. But, there are those out there who could have and would have taken advantage of our ignorance about mold issues. Thank you for being candid and honest and ethical. GIves me hope.

Mike inspected the area, confirmed that the mold that we had seen was not dangerous and explained the cause. He also suggested several alternatives to avoid any such mold growth in the future. Mike is very knowledgeable and professional and he was very helpful.

Mike of MoldGone came today. He checked out the water damage to the bedroom ceiing and a corner of a wall, then went up in the attic. I stood on the ladder and watched as he inspected the area. I was relieved when he couldnt' find any mold. He also told me that usually the attic is the driest part of a house. Since he had told me that part of MoldGone's work is to take care of water damaged walls/ceilings, I asked him what he would charge to fix the ceiling/wall damage in the bedroom. He told me that he could give me an estimate but that it was such a small job, it would be more cost efficient for us to just ask a handyman to take care of it. I was very impressed with his professionalism and honesty! If we ever do have a mold problem, we'll not hesitate to call MoldGone!
