The owner, Jon Gordon fit me in his schedule right away. He was very prompt and did an inspection of what I suspected was a mold problem. He used a moisture meter and special lights to determine what the problem was. Gave me great advice about using a humidifier during the summer and told me not to worry about the two spots I saw that I thought would require mold remediation. Nice to know that a contractor isn't always trying to make a sale.

Awesome. Joe is kind and professional. He did a thorough inspection and clearly explained what he observed. Luckily I have no mold, but I do have a grading issue. He answered all my (many) questions and offered advice on the best way to fix the grading. He told me what to look for if there ever is water damage. He'd be the first one I will call! We received a very thorough inspection, advice, and a written report. The inspector did not try to get additional business based on the report...it was very unbiased. We were very pleased with the service.

Everything was great. He was in no rush and answered all my questions. It was a very good hour. He was professional and didn't try to rip us off. What we had wanted was way more expensive than what we could afford but he gave us the best alternatives.

There were no big problems found. The company gave us some great advice for prevention. The tech was very friendly, professional, quick and super helpful.

We thought initially that our washer was just leaking a little water but found that there was a lot of water that ran into the adjoining bedroom and closets. We called Disaster Recovery and they came out the same day. Pedro provided excellent service and explained each step of the process. They asked for insurance information and attempted to charge the insurance comapny directly for the service. Pedro cut away drywall, baseboard and disposed of affected carpeting. He cleaned up the mold that had formed on the framing behind the baseboard and set up fans/dehumidifiers for drying the area. He was friendly, efficient, and we didn't notice any mold smell once he was gone.

What can I say... the other reviewers don't lie. I recently pulled my carpet in my basement to find mold. I took to AL to find a qualified, honest mold remediator. Based on the preponderance of the reviews, I contacted Mold Gone. I was in touch within 72 hours and sent pictures to give the company an idea of what I was dealing with. True to form, I was told that I did not need Mold Gone's service and could treat the situation myself. I must be too jaded to expect an honest contractor but Mold Gone is one. I highly recommend them, not only because they did not charge me, but also because I am confident that had I contracted with Mold Gone, there is no doubt that they would be able to treat the condition.

Jon Gordon was professional, on time, explained each step he took for in the inspection and gave me suggestions on products if i should need them in the future. I was very comfortable with him in my home and luckily he did not find any problems that had to be addressed. I would recommend him and his company to everyone.

I was generally impressed with the knowledge and thoroughness of the examiner. But when it came to follow-up -- providing a bid for the needed work -- it was promised and never provided. Then my telephone calls were not returned. I wasn't paying for the bid, but I was expecting him to follow through as promised. Apparently he was not interested.

The technicians came to my house, arriving on time. All work was done to my satisfaction. I would recommend them to anyone needing this service.

It went very well. As the gentleman was testing I went around with me and he was explaining common ways that mold starts and grows in the house as well as pointed out areas to watch out for. He showed me his instrumentation and explained what he was doing.

The service was outstanding! Joe was thorough, accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. The buyer of my house wanted a quick settlement so time was of the essence. I found Mold Gone through Angie's List. Joe arranged for a crew to come to the house over the weekend and took care of it. He also contacted the original house inspector a couple of times to make sure the job was done properly. I could not have had a better experience.

An excellent customer service experience. I needed a mold inspection for a home purchase on a very short timeline. I originally scheduled Jon to come on a Tuesday, but the structural inspection went badly and had to put everything on hold for a week. Jon was able to reschedule without a problem. The report normally takes 5 business days. I had neglected to notice this when hiring him. 5 business days would have been beyond the timeline for us to respond to inspection reports, based on our contract. I called Jon late on a Friday afternoon to see what was possible. He called the lab himself, got the results, emailed them to me, and discussed them on the phone for approximately 20 minutes. He was able to explain the lab report (no worrisome signs), strategies to keep the house mold-free going forward, etc. I came away feeling very confident about moving forward with the purchase. Would absolutely hire again.

Jon was our technician. He was on time, courteous and very pleasant to work with. He was in and out in 15 minutes, gave me the name of a cleaner to use on the wall and left. He didn't try to get additional work or give us a "mold scare". No wonder they have so many good reviews on Angie's List.

I was worried when I called to get an evaluation of my rental property. All I could see was some one taking me to the cleaners telling me that I had mold throughout the house and that I would need to get another job to pay the bill. These guys were pure professionals and when they came took some measurements and determined that there was no mold problem they made both myself and the renter feel confident in their assessment.

Jon was professional, courteous, and workable. When I contacted him initially, he was booked but still offered to review any other estimates I would receive. When he did come to the house, he gave me an honest opinion that my damage was too small to warrant the expensive services his company provides. Instead, he coached me through how to address the problem myself. Although they did not actually progress beyond the assessment, my experience with them was terrific. I would, without hesitation, call Mold Gone in the future.

From a business standpoint it was very poor. I understand they are busy, but I am busy as well. It doesn’t hurt to pick up the phone and call. I specifically asked them to call and they never did. I received an email for something about cost for different service and remediation work before they had even looked at the job I wanted them to do.
