They gave a totally A+ service all the way around. They took care of the mold behind the washing machine and the HVAC closets. it was the most extensive part of what I had done. The remediation was 2320 and the reconstruction was 2170. They came out two weeks later to do an air quality check. The snaked the camera all the way to the living room to look for visible mold. They were extremely thorough. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I am very impressed with the honest person who visited my home. He told me that the area in question has mold but that it is not toxic and that I really didn't need to hire a professional mold removal service to take care of it. He answered all my questions about how to do it myself but didn't charge anything. How refreshing!

Jon was very friendly, courteous, and professional; he did a thorough assessment and was very honest about things we needed professional work on vs. those we could easily do ourselves for much cheaper. He promptly sent us a quote a few days later, and we felt the price was fair; however, he encouraged us to get other estimates if we wished . One problem for us was being able to make the entire payment all at once; Jon explained that due to it being a small company, they still don't have options for installment plans (which is completely understandable).Hopefully, they will grow and expand to the point where they can do that, which I think will help a lot of customers with being able to afford the work.

We had an odor coming from the ceiling in one bedroom. There is a rooftop deck above it. While there is no evidence of a leak, Jon was able to figure out there was a slight amount of moisture causing the smell. He tested the air and found higher than normal levels of a common mold, but insisted there was nothing to worry about. He told us we should not remove the ceiling which would have been very expensive. He was very honest and was concerned about saving us money for what we were looking to do. Since then we are getting a patch on the rooftop deck and he recommended we buy a small dehumidifier for the room. It works great and for now (fingers crossed) the smell is gone. Hopefully I will never need Jon's services again, but i have a couple of rental properties and if I do need them he will be my first call. Thanks again!!

Tech set up equipment in several key areas of the home. Took the sampling of air. Received results of the test within a week.

There were complaints of mold in our bathroom around the shower tile. MoldGone inspected the bathroom and determined that although there was mold present, it wasn't enough mold to be harmful. MoldGone also provided instructions for me to resolve the issue myself at a lower cost!.

Evidence of mold was found in multiple places and Jon returned on 2 occasions for further questions. A detailed proposal was provided and we are having the company return to do the work. Jon was very professional and thorough. I can only comment on the inspection, which is what my deal was for, as the work has not been done.

He suggested that my situation was actually rather easy to address myself if I were interested. Recommended products I could use that were safe and relatively safe to amend the mild odor and mildew, which I was very much in favor of. Very positive and informed.

Mike arrived at the property and inspected the exterior and interior of a home we plan to purchase. He explained his findings and drafted a report that reflected what he shared with us. His findings were credible with us and with the seller, and the seller has agreed to complete the remediation. Mold remediation is pricey, and I believe their prices are fair given their professionalism and credibility.

Provider very respectful of home/personal property; extremely responsive & professional customer service. An unforeseen issue arose when the tech assigned to my inspector had an accident; a call was place prior to scheduled arrival time and a replacement had already been assigned and was in route; arrived on a few minutes later than originally scheduled. I was very pleased with the level of professionalism and attention to detail. Would recommend them to anyone in need of this service!

I had two problems: 1) the previous roofers had failed to flash the vent pipe for the upstairs bathroom, and rainwater had leaked down and caused a mold problem in the ceiling, and 2) the kitchen sink had leaked into the wall. Both of those had to be fixed for a refi. Mold Gone blocked off both room areas (for venting purposes), removed the ceiling/walls as needed, treated the mold, repaired the drywall (no visible lines), and repainted both rooms. I knew that they were going to repaint, but I didn't realize that they were going to repaint all of the rooms in their entirety! (They said, correctly, that the colors wouldn't match otherwise, but still unexpected). They came in under budget, and even better, did the entire job from start to finish in ONLY FOUR HOURS!! I waited to review because it's, well, mold, and I didn't know if it would recur, but it hasn't. So, great job!

We had a small localized mold issue in our basement and I wanted a professional to look at it. I made an e-mail inquiry on a Tuesday afternoon and Jon was able to schedule something for early the next day. I really appreciated them accommodating my hectic schedule. Once Jon came out he took a quick look and said we had a very minor mold issue that could be fixed with a spray and special paint. Since I used the free Angie's list estimate there was no charge. Jon was nice enough answer other questions I had about water leakage issues and sump pumps. I had a great experience with them and would consider them first if we ever have any bigger issues.

They arrived on time, their work was very professional and we appreciated everything that they did.

The wall was fixed, the bathroom well-painted, the shower looks nice, and the fan is quieter than my old one.

A corner of a room in our basement was affected by mold and we invited MoldGone first to make an appraisal and then to take care of the problem. Prior to starting, they send a detailed quote saying very specifically what the job was going to do. The crew did a great job overall - they opened up the drywall, cleaned up the basement wall and covered it with a protective layer, replaced all insulation, replaced the drywall, painted it, shampooed the carpet - in a nutshell did everything from A to Z. When the paint dried up, there was a slight color mismatch that they took care of the next day. Overall, very happy, though felt the price was more on the high side (or at least this was not a wow price for me).

Overall it was a good experience. I thought there would be some air or surface testing which was not included. I did get some good advice from the representative on potential problem areas, but my house got the all clear.

Chris from Mold Gone was great to work with - extremely professional, responsive, and he explained everything in a way that made it easy to understand. He was able to inspect the problem quickly, schedule treatment, and complete the work in the time frame we needed. There was no "up-sell" or attempt to do any more than what we requested or was needed to correct the issue. We would without a doubt recommend Mold Gone and use them again as needed.

Performed mold/mildew remediation and inspected for further water damage. Found foundation cracks along outer wall and recommended the appropriate company for repair. Will return when foundation repairs are complete to repair and replace the insulation, drywall, etc. Excellent workmanship and particular care to protect our furniture, etc. I was significantly impressed. The workmen were helpful and very respectful.

The inspection took abouit 1/2 hour, but I was impressed by the information he could impart in such a short period. He was very prompt, personable and professional. Since I have a relative who was made sick by mold in her home, but didn't know that's what was doing it, I was quite sensitive to all of this. I would recommend this company to anyone and, indeed, think more people should be aware of how elusive mold can be.

Everything went well. He came out and said it was probably our carpet we had it replaced and the smell is pretty much gone.

This company is awesome! The guy came out looked at everything, he went outside to see where the leak was coming from. He gave me an estimate and when they came in, they layed out materials to protect my carpet. They pulled all the mold out, bagged it out and used some sort of fan to dry everything out. They even checked another section in the basement. It was thoroughly done. I was very impressed with the workers. I would recomend them to anyone. Exceptional service!

It was a real pleasure to meet and interact with the owner, Joe. He was totally professional, polite and friendly. His feedback was honest and nuanced and he offered choices, describing the pros and cons of each alternative. He explained what he was doing which is why I --a born skeptic-- totally trusted his advice. I strongly recommend him.
