Don Holliday from Holliday Home Improvements was THE ONLY PERSON who was interested on the present condition of my roof, and THE ONLY ONE who climbed up on my roof to check things out. When he discovered extensive plywood rot and rotting around the eaves, he informed me right away. This removed the SURPRISE factor from the extent of work required to repair my roof and make it whole, and we also found some other issues with the roof the home inspector did not find.. He provided me a reasonable estimate especially in light of all the rot and damage, and the roof was finished IN ONE DAY. He's the only one I want working on my roof.

Work was completed in a timely manner and contractor checked on the progress of the job on a daily basis. Quality materials were used and attention to detail was obvious in the workmanship.

Excellent job. You'd be hard-pressed to find anyone better for sure.

My problem was larger than expected. My new roofing job was done improperly and that company is no longer in business. Holliday Home helped to distinguish the problem and gave us some solutions. He also replaced flashing and worked with us on trying to solve the problem without having to pay extreme prices for our repair. His workmanship, business manner, and attention to detail gave me peace of mind. He also replaced a small roof not attached to the house and it looks better than the original work. My only sorrow is that I didn't hire him first!! Yes, I would highly recommend him and his crew.

The owner was courteous and conscientious. The crew worked quickly and skillfully. I ended up with a high quality roof with a 50-year non-prorated warranty for a very reasonable price.

Great job - completed on time and within budget. No hidden costs - unlike other contractors who provided estimates, and then wanted additional money for disposal, permits, etc. Holliday Home Improvements were professional, provided outstanding customer service & reasonably priced. They were the only company who provided not only an estimate - but product samples. The company's owner (Don) made sure every item was completed as promised & took pictures of the job. He followed-up after completion to ensure satisfaction. I would highly recommend this company!

I was very pleased with the response time from this company! We put in to have our roof repaired and they called immediately and within 20 minutes Mr. Holiday came to our home in Columbia to give us an estimate. We accepted his quote and he was here the very next morning as promised to fix our roof! I am very pleased with my overall experience with this company and will definitely use them again for future projects to my home.

The owner was extremely professional and went above and beyond his contract to make sure that my family was happy with the results. They were also very good at the removal of all the old parts (nails, shingles, etc).

oh my...I got word of major emergency repairs needed to my 85 year old Mother's house.in Md. The drywall in the dining room fell in with insulation everywhere from a roofing issue and within 1 hour of speaking to Mr. Holliday he had gone to the home and inspected first the roof in 100 degrees weather and gave me a rough estimate over the phone. I had to fly in from California to Maryland to where my Mother's house is and met me at 7:a.m. in the morning as planned. He was very professional and looked over the inside of the house as it needed drywall on the ceiling that had fallen from a leaking roof. All repairs were finished in 4 days

Our entire experience with Holliday Home Improvements Inc. was exemplary. We were interested in having someone inspect damage in a portion of our roof as well as the general condition of the remainder of the roof. We received an immediate response to our request from Mr. Holliday, and were able to meet with him almost immediately. We reviewed the condition of the roof together, and agreed that replacement of the roof was in order. Mr. Holliday explained in detail the method and materials that would be used. He also provided a very professional information packet with details concerning his company, his company�s insurance, as well as the materials and methods he would be using. There were some other issues we discussed with him as well. In particular, some of the fascia, rakeboards and dripedge trim were in need of replacement due to water or insect damage. Mr. Holliday was willing to perform this work as well, and indicated that he would provide a separate estimate for this work. We also asked him to provide an estimate for painting some additional fascia. Mr. Holliday indicated that he would provide an estimate for all of the work within the next day or two, and could begin the work as soon as the following week. He estimated that the work would take approximately 3 days. The estimate was provided as he indicated, we signed the contract, and the work was initiated and completed as promised. Mr. Holliday visited our home repeatedly during the course of the work and inspected the quality and progress of the work. This type of work typically creates a lot of debris, including roofing nails. His crew did a very good job of picking up this debris during the course of the work, and at completion virtually no debris remained. We are extremely pleased with the finished product and Mr. Holliday�s prompt, courteous and professional manner, and plan to use his firm for additional work in the future.
