Within three days of my phone call Brian Weil was at my home to do a roof inspection and provide an estimate of the cost of a new roof. After the inspection Brian notified me that my roof was in great condition and that I didn't need any work done. I was so impressed that, rather than try to sell me a product which I didn't need or talk me into gutters, or some other related product, Brian gave me accurate and honest information. The professionalism and integrity of Unicorp speaks for itself. I'll continue to use the company well into the future.

FROM THE INTIAL PHONE CALL TO JOB COMPLETION EVERYTHING WAS TOP NOTCH. MARY ELLEN CAME OUT TO GIVE US AN ESTIMATE AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING IN DETAIL AND WAS VERY HELPFUL. NEXT JR CAME OUT FOR FINAL MEASURMENTS AND I EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT I WAS HAVING MY DECK REPLACED ALSO (FNECE AND DECK CONNECTION) AND HE WORKED WITH THEM SO THAT THE JOBS WORKED IN UNISON. THE ROOF WAS COMPLETED IN ONE DAY. 2 WEEKS LATER THEY STARTED ON THE SIDING ON A MONDAY AND THE JOB WAS FINISHED ON THURSDAY AFTERNOON ALONG WITH THE NEW DECK. ON FRIDAY THEY PUT THE NEW GUTTERS ON. THE WORKMANSHIP IS UNSURPASSED. I RECEIVED ESTIMATES FROM SEVERAL OTHER COMPANIES AND NONE EVEN CAME CLOSE ON PROFESSIONALISM. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A QUALITY COMPANY THIS IS IT!

Top to bottom, a great experience. The sales process was exceptional. Low pressure. Excellent products to choose from. Not only did Brian, the president come to our house to measure and provide the estimate, he invited us to see how the windows looked installed in his own house! Truly exceptional service. The installation went without a hitch. Workmen were punctual and courteous. Quality of work was outstanding. The finished job looks great. I couldn't be more pleased.

The estimate was a no-pressure experience and very helpful, as they suggested some options for the basement windows that I had not thought of before. I ended up getting 14 triple-pane vinyl replacement windows and two triple-pane exterior doors installed. The process with completed in one day. Installation went perfectly. They did not damage any outside plants, and they were very accommodating of my cats. They also installed a window a/c unit in my upstairs bedroom. The windows look beautiful, and I noticed a difference that night in that my central a/c unit was hardly going on at all, and the air felt so cool and even compared to my very old wooden single-pane windows. I chose this company based on prior reviews particularly for installation, and I was not disappointed. They were very professional and very particular about getting everything just right. I am extremely pleased with the outcome and would highly recommend them to anyone considering replacement windows or doors.

This is the second home that I have used Unicorp to replace windows, wrap trim and replace gutters and downspouts. Both experiences were excellent. I especially appreciate the fact that they have people that have been with them many (15+) years and are specialized in the work they perform (e.g., windows, siding, roofing, etc.). I currently have them scheduled to return to wrap the remaining trim on the back of my house.

David Rohrer, Senior Vice President of the company talked to me on my initial phone call to his company. To expedite the process he located my home through map quest and determined the approximate cost of the project. When it turned out that the gutter was longer than what I had measured, he honored the quote. When I returned home from errands one day, I found a 2 man crew finishing up the job.The whole process was done within 2 weeks of my initial call.

Unicorp Home Energy Services refused to provide service requested (gutter repair). The Unicorp representative said that her company would not provide the requested service because we are not previous customers. Unicorp will do siding or roofing and include gutters, but would not do gutters alone for new customers.

We are satisfied with the work of this excellent company that wasted no time, understood our needs, provided us with timely, useful information and careful service.

I was very impressed with the employees and service. It took them 2 days to the work, but they were neat and clean and work efficiently. They were very polite. I was very comfortable having them in my home. The price was a little high, but definitely worth it.

Brian was in our home twice to provide estimates and make us totally comfortable with the process and their ability to ensure our home would look as close to original as possible once completed. He was low key, professional, knowledgeble of the products on the market. He made suggestions for us to consider, he ensured we had everything we needed to know to make a good decision about this investment for our home. There was no pressure to purchase his product which we so appreciated. Once we signed the contract the office staff stayed in touch as the product was built. Once completed they called to schedule a date for the install. The installer and his helper showed up on time, worked very hard and because the weather was predicted to turn to rain they worked to finish as much of the job as they could their first day. He even returned the next day (Sunday) with our approval to complete the job before bad weather hit. He also would share his progress as he worked- it allowed us to ask questions about the process as we went along. He had a STRONG WORK ETHIC. Now about his craftsmanship; this man and his assistant were unassuming, professional, and polite, they allowed us to live in our home while major work was being done with minimal interruption to our lives. He worked very hard to make sure everything was perfect, and cleaned-up before moving on to the next window. When he left, no trash or pieces were left behind. When he saw me using a manual screwdriver he left me his drill so I could use it overnight to re-hang window treatments. We will use Unicorp for our siding in the future!!!!!!! We have gotten a quality product for a grat price. We would be very happy to have anyone come to see the work Unicorp did for us. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I had 9 windows installed in my home. They had a very straight forward low pressure sales process. I picked them over Champion due to price and window design. They worked with me to pick a trim color, and when it came to installation they arrived on time and were professional. In removing my windows in my basement (old aluminum windows) they broke one of the old windows. The clean up was adequate (not top notch for this window). The new windows are very nice and a high quality product. This was my first replacement window job and I had some post installation concerns (wasn't sure if all the windows were level). I called Unicorp and they scheduled someone to come out immediately. I could not make the first appointment and had to cancel. Unicorp called me several times to reschedule the appointment, which I appreciated because it was low on my priority list. When we finally coordinated the visit a Unicorp representative came to my home to evaluate the installation. He confirmed that everything was installed correctly but let me know if I ever had any issues to call them. So far I have been very happy with my windows.

They dropped the ball on this and took a really long time getting us the estimate. I had to call and they were very apologetic but it was just a little too late.

This was far and away my best experience with a home improvement contractor. The overall positive tone was set when company president and CEO Brian Weil showed up to review the project. After I gave him a brief overview of the job, he took notes and detailed measurements all around the house. He then offered recommendations about material selections and enhancements that I had not considered but was most interested in. What also impressed me was that he provided me with a detailed written estimate right on the spot. I had already gotten two other estimates with which I was not happy. One was provided by a "salesman" type who did not seem to be very knowledgeable about siding; he sent me an estimated in a couple of days. The next company rep to visit strongly recommended add-ons that I did not think were necessary. Also it took him two weeks to send an estimate via e-mail that was extremely inflated, in my opinion. In talking with Brian of Unicorp, reviewing his extensive customer listing, learning about his staff and visiting the company's website I was convinced that I had found the company that could meet my (high) expectations for the project. It also helped that the company already had highly positive reviews on Angie's List. After I signed the contract, everything proceeded in a timely manner. All materials were ordered and received in 2 weeks and the work started right away. The work team consisted of a leader who performed the more complex and detailed tasks and 2 technicians who did the more straight forward tasks. They all were highly experienced, technically competent and detail oriented. The work took 5 days. They showed up on time every morning and worked smartly all day long except for a brief lunch break. At the end of each work day they cleaned thoroughly all around the house and stowed all of their equipment neatly in the backyard and garage. I watched their work closely every day. The leader was responsive to my questions and any minor suggestions that I put forth. On the third day of the project (a Saturday), the company siding supervisor paid a visit to review progress, and later that day, Brian, the president stopped by to check out the project and to take some pictures. Also, the operations manager visited 3 times; on the last day he made a special trip to Baltimore to pick up a few sheets of additional siding, which allowed the job to be completed on schedule. In summary, this project went like clockwork from start to finish. A project of such scope and complexity can easily be mis-managed and sloppily performed. Therefore, going in I knew that I would have to be very careful in choosing a contractor. I felt no anxiety whatsoever in selecting Unicorp, and I am extremely pleased that they far exceeded my lofty expectations. Accordingly, most strongly recommend Unicorp as a siding contractor. I cannot envision how any other company could do it better.

Unicorp was one of three companies we called upon for assessment of work and price. Pricing was in the mid range, but professionalism of Company reps - David Roar and Megan Grimes (sp) sealed the deal. In addition, following completion of work and payment, we requested that one of the spouts be shortened as it protruded onto the lawn thereby interfering with weekly lawn mowing. Unicorp was responsive and scheduled the additional work to be done.

We are happy with the results, and the experience is overall great from start to finish. I obtained quotes from a few suppliers and theirs is one of the best in terms of value and quality. It's also the shortest turnaround time from quote to ordering to installation. We are eager to be assured that their work and material may qualify for tax credits and their sales was helpful in that area. The office also communicated with us promptly all along. The installation crew were two people, a senior teamleader and a junior helper. They worked professionally and provides us some insights as well during work. I don't have any complaints about their work or the results, except that there is some difficulty understanding the English from the teamleader. I trusted that he is very experienced, but he didn't communicated very well and in all necessary means. For example, I am not aware that the caulking took ONE week to try, and touched it before it's all dry. I hoped that I was told in advance of the minor details, as I was on the spot all the time during their work and they had plenty of chances to explain this. A few other confusions arise during the final measurement/installation and i need to contact the office to get a confirmation. There is time that I sensed the senior leader is offended and I am not feeling comfortable talking to him. We have used a dozen contractors in the last several months, from small to large companies, and it is a first for me to feel uncomfortable talking to the crew. I know it is not entirely English but due to an attitude issue as well.

Very professional. The owner of the Company came to my house one day after I called him. He explained in great detail the type of roof he would be installing. He also explained that once they were into the job, there could be some extra expense for plywood if needed. At my request, he also provided information on windows and doors in detail leaving samples of products. With regard to actual installation of the new roof, they dealt with a roof where they had to carry packs of roof tiles up a ladder one-by-one because of distance from street and a hill in front of house, which precluded loading tiles by crane. In spite of this they completed the job in one day. Their installers were extremely courteous and efficient. Additionally, their Office Manager was very courteous and accomodating when I needed to contact her. This company was ethical, honest and very reliable. I would recommend them to anyone. I intend to contract for windows and french double doors from them in the near future.

The roofers were very professional. The property was kept neat and they cleaned up after they were finished. They have a neat magnet that picks up all the nails so I didn't have to worry about my dogs getting hurt.

The replacement of the windows was prompted by the deterioration of the windows, Fed's tax credit and a family gift. Mr. Materka with two other workers came over and started the work. They took two days to finish the job. They had to replace some rotton wood beneath three windows and replaced the cap to the bay window. This forced the work to two days. I called Unicorp about two problems. The cap was loose and some caulking was needed. Mr. Materka fixed both problems.

The rep who visited us from Unicorp was by far the most thorough of all the companies we had come out. She went through every detail and did a side by side comparison of two windows - we opted for the cheaper of the two once we had established that the benefits of the more expensive one did not apply to us. She also provided advice on the big front windows which allowed us get the result we were looking for at about half the price of what we originally selected. She also made sure we got all of the discounts on offer and the end price was the best one of the five companies we looked at. We selected Unicorp based on the excellent job of the rep and the price simply confirmed our choice. The installation itself was about as smooth as we have witnessed - normally you have a few issues with any job like this but the guys who came worked tirelessly without ever seeming to break. They were completely professional and very pleasant. It took them two days to complete the job - windows in on day one, sealed on the inside so we didn't have to go through a night with any air getting in. Day two they worked on the exterior despite the rain. The workmen are credit to this company - I hope they are well paid! The couple of minor things that need taking care of have been addressed promptly by Unicorp and we have no hesitation recommending them.

If you want a company that prides itself on professionalism and keeping its customers happy, call Unicorp. Unicorp has now replaced all the windows in my house. I recently had problems with several of the windows and screens -- they worked around my schedule, fixed them all, and checked back to make sure it was done correctly. Again, if you want a company that goes above and beyond the standards for customer service, Unicorp is the one you should choose.

Unicorp recently completed a roof replacement job on our home. The owner of the company, Brian, came out personally to give us the estimate on the job and to look over our old roof. Once we came to an agreement, and signed the contract, the work began within days. The job foreman, David, showed up the day before work began to look over the premises and fill us in on what to expect when the roofing crew began. The work crew showed up early and worked hard throughout the day. They were extremely professional and careful as they removed the old roof. We were worried workers would trample on our garden. However, they were very careful to work around it. Unfortunately, there was lots of rotten wood. As the crew uncovered more and more, the job foreman and office assistant, Megan, kept us up-to-date as to how much rotten wood they were finding. When the crew was done with the job they carefully picked up all trash and left the premises just as it was before they arrived. The roof looks great. We are very pleased with it. We would highly recommend Unicorp for a roofing project.
