Great installation and customer service, we were very happy. Their pricing was reasonable.

For nearly a decade we had a series of mysterious leaks on the rear of our house. Multiple companies, some with good ratings on Angies List, took good money to try to fix them. Each time, the next windy rain revealed that the leaks remained. These "good" companies each refused to come back and investigate further. They seemed to want to get away from the challenge as fast as possible because it was hard. The excuse was that these were "new" leaks. But then I engaged David Rohr of Unicorp to help. David was friendly, but serious like a scientist as he investigated the issues. HE found the issues. His team replaced the siding promptly, and reflashed all the windows.. all at a good price. When we discovered a new leak, he came back and fixed it at no cost. My family is so grateful to Unicorp for finally fixing these issues. Rainstorms would always stress us out as we expected water to pour out of our wall. No more. We now plan to do a window replacement in the near future and Unicorp is at the top of our list to do it.

It was a superb job by UNICORP. The sales rep gave a detailed explanation of what they would do for each level of roofing service and I found exactly what I wanted. He did not dwell on unimportant items or try to sell a more expensive product. My phone calls to the staff were promptly answered and I did not have to speak to a computer. Installation was quick and they cleaned up debris just fine. They went the extra mile and found the exact chimney I needed. The New gutter is also just what they promised. The completed work looks great and withstood the heavy rain of 9/21/13. I've asked them to replace my windows as well. Job well done!

I had Unicorp Prodigy Fortis windows installed in the summer of 2013 and am delighted with them. The windows look great and are much more energy efficient. The installation process was quick and easy and the installers did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. Recently someone broke into my house. I called Mary Ellen MacDonald, my salesperson, on her cell phone on a Saturday evening hoping that she could call back early on Monday. She called back within the hour. By Monday, she had arranged to have replacement panes made immediately and picked up the slider frames herself on Monday afternoon to speed the replacement. The installer Zbigniew Materka was caught in traffic on Wednesday, but he came and installed the replacements even though he would get home very late. I never would never have expected this level of support from Unicorp, but I?m so grateful they provided it. They did everything possible to make a stressful event better for me. I really felt they treated me as a friend, not just a one-time customer. Highly recommended!

Working with Unicorp was an absolute pleasure. We had a window on the side of our house (located underneath another window) that leaked in the top right corner every time there was a strong rain. We hadn't been able to figure out where the leak was as a previous contractor reflashed around the leaking bottom window a couple of years ago and it didn't fix the problem. I called several window companies this time to get assistance and Unicorp was the only one that could investigate both the siding and the windows and included a guaranty that the problem would be fixed or that they would continue to work with us until it was fixed. (The other companies said they could replace the windows but there was no guaranty it would fix the problem). The job required people from Unicorps window and siding divisions and the teams were well organized and coordinated. They ended up taking off most of the siding on that side of our house around the two windows, replacing both windows and reflashing everything. They worked around my schedule to complete the job. The window has not leaked since their repair. I would highly recommend this company to anyone with an unusual or straightforward problem. They were very professional and a pleasure to work with.

Unicorp was very easy to work with and very reachable, either by phone or email. Brian came to the house, gave us all the information we needed without the huge sales pitch. He was able to show us the different types of windows they provide, the different options available, and had lots of pictures of real houses in which they had installed windows. It was nice to see how the windows would look on a real house and not a model home. They also have in-house work crews instead of sub contractors which was a huge plus. Mr. Materka and Jose finished installing all 31 windows and 2 sliding doors in 3 days. They were quick, efficient, and very professional. They also removed all the blinds in the house, put them back once they were done, and vacuumed the areas they were in. I had thought my post window clean up would be a huge job, but thanks to Mr. Materka and Jose, I just had to vacuum a little bit and dust off a few counters. They even worked in the rain and my house stayed dry. All in all, I was very pleased with the work.

We are extremely pleased with the work performed by the professionals from Unicorp. From the initial sales call until the job was finished we clould not have been happier. They were always punctual and always very professional. They communicated each step of the process very clearly and answered every question we had. The team that did the actual installation was efficient, precise and real, true craftsmen. Their work was meticulous; they cleaned up constantly and they met all their promised deadlines. We were so pleased with the work that we immediately signed another agremment with Unicorp to have all the wood trim on our home wrapped in siding.

I requested 4 quotes, three from top rated Angie?s List providers including Unicorp, and one recommended by a neighbor. I was primarily looking for (1) the absolute best energy rating I could get within my budget (looking principally at the u-factor, and avoiding triple pane); and (2) confidence that the installer would do it to the highest degree of professionalism. Mary arrived on schedule and was personable and professional. She seemed honest and clearly demonstrated the qualities of the vinyl Vytex windows offered. I generally liked the product offered, warranty, and corporate qualifications based on the specific Unicorp team members and past and current client list. She discussed a lot of alternatives that did not actually interest me, but I understand that the objective was simply to make me aware of options I might not know about (and in fact didn't). While the Vytex product offered a very good u-factor, Unicorp?s price was the highest quote without being the best in terms of energy efficiency. I seriously thought of going with Unicorp, but I was able to get an even better quality product for a lower price from another vendor. Even so, I trust that Unicorp would have done a good job, and they offered me a good product.

If you are picky and want an A+ contractor, this is the one! In 2000, I hired Unicorp to replace my cedar siding and all of my windows and sliding doors with vinyl siding, windows and doors. They did an excellent job at a reasonable price. In 2011, I hired a powerwashing company to clean my siding (first time in over a decade that it needed to be cleaned). They left my siding discolored, streaked and covered with a white substance. I called Unicorp for advice. J.R., one of my original Unicorp contacts from 2000, came out to look at my siding. The powerwashing company had stripped the protective coating off of my siding and bleached it. While at my home, I pointed out to J.R. that my windows had warped gaskets. They replaced all of the defective windows under warranty. Now in 2013, I am replacing my deck. When my deck company removed the old deck, there was a 3/8"-1/2" gap between two pieces of siding that was hidden behind the old deck's tight-fitting rail post. J.R. came out once again. Unicorp will be fixing the gap next week at no charge! When J.R. went out the sliding door to look at the gap, he noticed that the door was not opening smoothly. He showed me how to put my sliding door back on its track. Unicorp is company that is truly dedicated to their customers. It is rare to find a company who stands behind their work and products. J.R., David and all of the window and siding installers (Janek and Kris, same window installers in 2011 as in 2000) are professional, courteous, knowledgeable, efficient, and neat. They go above and beyond to achieve customer satisfaction. Thank you Unicorp!

They were great. The owner who did the tracing and the counsel when he comes out to the house was great. The workers were great. They were professional, quick, hard working, and very polite. They were excellent workers and they did a great job. I was very happy with them. When I had to communicate four different things, the secretary at their office was wonderful too. They were very easy to work with. It was not so straight with different things like I could change my schedule in the middle or something else, they were very easy to work with and it is very unusual to have the whole team very professional. I have only kind words for the workers. Price wise they were much less than what I expected. They were very helpful in figuring out the financing and everything. They were very impressive and professional.

A neighbor told us about his great experience with Unicorp, and and we?re so glad we called them. It is a fantastic company that I recommend highly. Starting with no pressure sales people who consider your needs and don?t sell you anything you don?t need, they have highly skilled, professional technicians that do quality work and pay attention to detail. Even their office personnel were always friendly, professional and responsive. The Prodigy windows are custom-made, beautiful products. I had a challenging window situation that they resolved perfectly with a solution I would have never thought of. Great experience from start to finish.

I contacted UNICORP regarding getting my roof and windows replaced. I received a reply in short order, and appointment was set for 7/17/13. Brian Weil, the company president, arrived on time and proceeded to inspect our roof, windows, and take measurements. He was a wealth of information to answer our many questions, and came with a nice package of information as well. In addition to window samples. We received the roof estimate right then and there, and the windows estimate a few days later. Both were very competitive. In the end, after getting quite a few estimates for our dual projects, it came down to two companies. Both highly regarded here on Angie's List, and other websites as well. It was not an easy choice, but in the end we chose to go with another contractor. That should not indicate any dissatisfaction with Brian and/or UNICORP. We simply had to make a choice between two outstanding companies. I would certainly consider UNICORP again for any projects we may need to do in the future, and appreciate their efforts in trying to earn our business, including follow up after the original estimates.

Met with Brian, the President, to discuss the work we wanted. He had some good suggestions for the window changes we wanted. We went with the Prodigy windows with the Crystal Grids and they look great. Mr. Materka was our installer and he was excellent. The work was clean, on time and professional. We had some questions regarding one of the windows, Brian came to discuss it with us and they resolved the problem wonderfully. Unicorp is definitely the company to go with!

Unicorp did a fantastic job on our home. Since we were getting all new windows and the exterior siding replaced at the same time David and the staff at Unicorp worked to coordinate the two jobs for the best possible finish quality. I wanted to make sure all the trim work was done properly and Unicorp did not disappoint. All the crews worked exceptionally well and were very responsive to my requests for additional details and information. Given the size of the job they kept the area around the house fairly clean and were careful not to damage anything. Overall we are very happy with the results and although they may not be the lowest price out there I didn't mind paying a little more for quality work - they definitely take pride in what they do and it shows.

Very well. They kept in contact throughout the entire process, were on time, and completed the work on schedule. They had a lot of extras to do on the addition. The house looks great. A big improvement over the asbestos siding that was originally on the house.

Everything went great from start to finish. I have used UNICORP in the past to replace all of the windows in my house and the siding on my house addition. Both the quality of their product and customer service are superb. Price is competitive. My most recent experience to replace my basement door was excellent. They responded quickly to my request for a quote and within days I decided to use them. They measured the door shortly thereafter and ordered it. Today they installed it, and it looks great. They also replaced the weather sealing on the bottom of my front door which had started to deteriorate after several years. Every step of the process was easy and effortless. As a unexpected side benefit, their sales representative noticed I had carpenter bees in a wooden railing above my basement steps, which allowed me to have the railings treated and painted to curb any future carpenter bees from settling in. Highly recommend Unicorp.

Our whole experience with Unicorp was a pleasant one from beginning to end. The salesperson was very friendly and upfront, and days after receiving the quote from them, he was happy to answer any questions we had (no matter how nitpicky or silly I'm sure some of them sounded from a non-window expert like myself). Unicorp's price wasn't the cheapest of all the companies we contacted, but it also wasn't the most expensive. And after scouring Angieslist reviews of companies that we were thinking of going with, we liked how Unicorp received positive reviews with regards to installing windows as well as the final product. Companies that gave us cheaper quotes seemed to have several reviews about issues with window installations, and we were fine with paying a little more for a company that was more likely to do a good job installing the finished product. Every person we were in contact with by phone, email, or in person, was a good experience. I was very impressed by how quick they responded by email or phone, and I really appreciated their professionalism. After having four of our windows replaced, we loved the way the new windows looked. The workmen even showed up early for the installation, and the total cost of the new windows was the exact amount quoted to us. There were no surprises through this process - other than how great the new windows look in comparison to our older ones. We live in a condo that has ten windows, and we like the newly installed windows so much, that instead of waiting until next year or so to replace the rest, we're looking forward to contacting Unicorp later this year to update the remaining windows. We were incredibly impressed and pleased with our experience, and will definitely recommend them to others.

First let me say that our house looks better than it did when it was new, and our experience with Unicorp was very positive. The sales process with David was professional and without any nonsense (e.g., sign today and we'll give you a discount, etc.). The office staff was helpful in providing information where we could view homes where Unicorp had done previous work with the colors and styles we were considering, and the company was completely patient with our weeks long decision-making process. The field coordinator (JR) and onsite crew were hard working, courteous and professional. They worked hard throughout the day and cleaned up prior to leaving each day. As in any large project we ran into a couple of (minor) scheduling issues, and because we had a couple of particular requests that altered normal installation, we had to pay close attention to make sure the crew stayed on track, redirecting them a couple of times. That said, the quality of the final product was outstanding; when I did the final walk around I went over every detail with a fine-toothed comb and found about 10 minutes work of caulking (minor) that I wanted done - everything else was fantastic. Unicorp was not the cheapest estimate we received, in fact they were the most expensive (by a very small margin). They did instill confidence in there ability to do quality work, and they delivered. We are extremely happy with the outcome and highly recommend their service.

The presentation of the service was compelling as the "salesperson" was also the founder and owner of the company. The office staff was friendly and answered all questions. The installation date promised at the time of the sale was met. The installers were on time, extremely polite, competent, and tidy and they were working in incredible heat with no comments or complaints. The job was finished in the two days promised even though they worked from 9 to 7 to complete it on the second day. The windows are wonderful and I cannot wait to see how their quality is reflected in our utility bills. I am only sorry we have no further need for this wonderful company.

Unicorp was very professional from start to finish. Communication was excellent; they were very clear about what they were going to do, and communicated well throughout the process. They came when they said they were going to. They installed the windows well and cleaned up after themselves. There were no hidden costs. The windows were about average in price.

We have an old house (1890's), and the cedar shingles on it were shot. They were on the house when we bought it in 1983; we'd had the shingles stained, but it was time for them to go or be replaced. Replacement was out of the question, and out of our budget. We got several estimates, and Unicorp's was in line with the others - not the lowest, nor the highest. Where Unicorp stood out was the process - Dave Rohrer took a lot of time with us. He measured, walked us through the process, and very patiently answered all our questions. Additionally, when we asked to see photos - or addresses - of jobs they had done (especially on older houses) they were prompt; as he said, "We really like working on older homes". For a number of reasons on our end, we had to keep rescheduling - there was never any pressure from them (unlike some other companies who gave us the if-you-sign-now-we-can-give-you-a-deal). The price was fair, and even though we had to put the job off for a few months because of our schedule, they were fine with it. When the time came for the work to be done, they were on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up after they were done. The work was excellent, and our house looks great! We have gotten many compliments on how good it looks; they were great in helping us pick a style and color that suited our house - again, they have that kind of experience. Would I use them again? Definitely, although I hope I will not have to do so, unless we buy another house. They were easy to work with, very clear about the process, professional yet personable, and pleasant from the first phone call. Excellent experience on our end.

Unicorp installed 30 replacement windows and a new 5ft wide sliding glass door in our home. From our initial sales consultation through the entire install process we found Unicorp to be friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. We worked with them to have a sub-contractor widen our 30" door opening to a 5ft wide opening for the new sliding door. Our house is all brick so they had to cut through the brick and install a new threshold for the door. We were very impressed with the entire process and installation was quicker than expected, it took one day for the contractor to cut the hole for the door and two days for the installation of all 30 windows and the new door. Our initial sales consultation was with Brian, the company president, and it was very easy to see from the start that he took a lot of pride in his products. It was also nice to know the factory was local and the windows came with a full lifetime warranty. They also felt much more solid than other windows we looked at from other companies. Our installer was Zbigniew and he was very pleasant and knowledgeable and did an amazing job. We were surprised with the efficiency and how quickly the installation went with him and one additional installer. We had one issue when the sub-contractor was cutting through our brick and they cut an electrical wire by accident. Unicorp took ownership of the issue and went above and beyond to ensure the wire was repaired and all affected outlets were functional again. They never questioned whose fault it was, they just simply made sure it was fixed. We will definitely hire Unicorp in the future for other services, roofing, siding gutters. Just knowing the professionalism they provide their customers is an additional insurance policy for our peace of mind in knowing we are getting a quality product from a quality company. We would recommend Unicorp to family and friends without hesitation!

Two technicians showed up and replaced 15 windows within 1 day. Both men were very friendly, knowledgeable, and did an outstanding job. Unicorp's customer service might be the BEST among our experiences. They were not only quick to answer questions and respond to follow up questions and concerns, but also went out of their way to reach out to us and make sure everything was done properly. It is clear that they take pride in their company and value their reputation. We appreciate their quality of service and LOVE our new windows. Outstanding quality of work, product, and customer service. We will be using them again when we replace our roof and siding.

Originally, I called Unicorp for a price on replacing the siding on the second story of my house. Mary Ellen looked at the house, and said, "you don't need new siding, you need a new roof." I knew this was true, because the roof was starting to shed shingles, but I thought I could not afford to replace it. I got a couple of estimates, and Unicorp came in with the best price. They also had great reviews on Angie's List and in the Washington Consumers' Checkbook, so I decided to have the work done. The crews were excellent, dropping off the materials in advance, and showing up on time on both the promised day and the following day (the work took two days.) I had asked Mary Ellen if, while the crew was on the roof, they could remove the old, nonfunctioning television antenna. When the crew was removing the shingles near the antenna, I noticed that it had not been removed. One call to their office, and the antenna was down within 30 minutes! I was very pleased with the customer service, both in advance, when keeping me updated with the start date and timeline, as well as on the days of the work. The crew did a good job, covering my plants with tarps, and avoiding discarding the shingles onto the flowerbeds (my gardens are VERY important to me!) There was some minor plant damage, but that is to be expected when doing such a major job. I did a few snips with the pruning shears, and the shrubs were back to health. They also did a very good job cleaning up after the project was done. I'll admit I am compulsive about nails in my car tires. I found a couple of nails on the lawn (and weeks later, one mysteriously appeared right in front of my door after a storm.) Unicorp offered to come back and sweep for nails again, but I declined, readily admitting that I would not be satisfied until I thoroughly inspected my yard, driveway, and street. Unicorp did a much better job cleaning up than other contractors I have used (who shall remain nameless!) I really enjoyed working with Mary Ellen (so nice to work with a woman!), the office staff, and the crew. I have, and will continue to, recommend them to friends and neighbors. When the time comes that I can afford to have my gutters and siding replaced, I will definitely call them. By the way, the new roof is gorgeous! It almost makes my vintage 1948 house look new!
