The provider performed service to replace a large front window of a single family home over 30 years. The saleswomen was nice and informative. This is the first window company that didn't require us to replace a minimum of 5 or more windows for service. She told us we can just have the front window replace which was the window of the customers greatest concern to replace. The saleswomen looked and measure other windows we added to meet other service window companies we were getting service estimates under the impression we had to replace 5 or more windows at a time. The saleswomen said you can have only the front window replace and I can tell you where to get to the others repair. I was very surprise! Anyway, the front window was replaced. The servicemen where great! They replace the window. My house is over 30yrs so the frame wasn't exactly square framed. But Unicorp fixe that. Service guys were nice, expertise. I had some questions after the installation, I called the company manager, she sent the VP out to inspect. He said, you have any problems call us back. Outstanding service all around from the salesperson installation and inspection of the work from the VP of the company. I have comfort to know if there are any problems with the front window I can call Unicorp. Thank you Unicorp!.

They did a good job and we were very pleased with the windows and door. They were quite prompt and got right on the job. I would definitely recommend them to others.

It went very well. We already feel the difference in the reduced noise, temperature /energy and definitely in the appearance. The workers were professionals, effecint, and finished the work in the time allowed. The company also was very accommodating to our needs.. The quality of the product for the price, is better than is offered at Lowes, Home Depot or Pela. We researched a lot, and Unicorp impressed us the most in all aspects.. We still have work to do on the roof and along the sides of the house and there is no doubt in our mind that we will use Unicorp again. Z. Alon

the Both crews were very professional during their removal and installations. During their work, both crews were very careful to unsure no damage was caused to shrubbery, plants, etc. Both crews took extra care to perform their work in a very professional manner, answered any questions about the installation and materials, and made cost saving changes to the installations as we discovered defects in the house construction. The crew supervisors visited the site daily to ensure the crews, their work and materials were delivered on-time and installed in a very professional manner.

The work started outside of the projected start date, which was likely due to weather. We were patient, and when they started everything moved very quickly. I think the entire job was complete within a week, which we were happy with. We had three crews work on the house, as far as we could tell. I don't think I ever saw the roofing crew, because they were done so quickly. The masonry crew was quick also. Two days for each of them I would guess. The siding crew took a few days and did an excellent job on the siding. Clean up was good on a daily basis, and each crew I interacted with had an obvious crew leader who would interact with us and manage the crew. We also had a site manager who handled any specific requests or issues that arose during the job. This was extremely beneficial at the end, because some of the crews didn't do so well on the finishing touches. For example, some of the lights weren't re-installed on the house, some trash was left on site, and base plates used for other exterior lights were too small for the light. Our site manager took care of each of the lingering issues and made sure the job looked the way we expected it to look at the end. There's no doubt this company is organized, and they definitely do top notch work. They started off as the highest quote, but they came down to the second highest quote, which we appreciated. We knew this wasn't a job we wanted to go "cheap" on, and we're happy we didn't. Unicorp made our house look great, and they sent a crew of professionals to do it. For context, we are a 30-something couple that did most of the renovation of our three bedroom, two bath house. We occasionally call in individual handymen to take on specialties we haven't learned to do yet, like tile work or significant electric work, for example. We call in larger companies to take on work that is beyond our capability, like paving our driveway and installing a new roof. That said, if you're the type of person who is always looking for the cheapest job, this is probably not the company for you. I found, for example, a company that was 10K cheaper than this company on the same job, without the masonry work included. I can't imagine what kind of job that company would have done, though. I know it wouldn't have been as good as this one. Our house looks like new construction, which is a lot compared to what it looked like before. I also know we wouldn't have experienced the professionalism we experienced had we used another company. Unicorp is one of the most professional companies we have had the pleasure of working with. We look forward to contacting them for future work on other "fixer-uppers" we buy.

They were very efficient, they cleaned up after they had installed, and they did a good job. The pricing was competitive.

Probably the very best experience with a building/repair contractor I have ever had. Very quick response to my call followed by prompt quote. Work was completed in less than 2 weeks from signing the contract, and that included weather delay. A little more pricey than I might have found elsewhere, but I definitely got what I paid for and it was well worth every cent.

Zbiegniew Materka and Jose Lopez were our installers. These gentlemen are true professionals, taking great care to protect any surrounding surfaces, cleaning up any scrap of excess material or packaging, and left the inside and outside exactly as they found it. They were on time, very personable, and polite throughout the entire project. We would recommend them to anyone wanting a quality job done with great workmanship. Our neighbors stopped to see the installation, and one of them asked for a business card so that he too could benefit from their services in the near future. Our old, drafty windows are gone, and in their place are beautiful, energy efficient windows. Since we are selling our home soon, the new owners will benefit from the new windows, and I'm sure the look and quality of our upgrade will be a selling point. Thank you Zbiegniew and Jose, and thank you Unicorp for your product and service. PS We also have the advantage of tilt in windows for easy cleaning, a luxury we never had before.

I had my siding replaced. The crew did an excellent job and finished the project sooner than expected. They answered every question I had and made sure that I was satisfied. When they were done, everything looked so clean and made sure there was no debris in the area. I highly recommend Unicorp and look forward to work with them in future projects.

From the first appointment for information on the products available, characteristics and quality information and cost, straight through the installation, we were very pleased. Everyone we had contact with was professional, courtious, punctual and skilled. When the installation was complete, due to the difference in size of the threshold from our old door and the parquet floor in our foyer, there was a space between the floor and the new threshold. The installer said he could get a piece of molding that would bridge that gap and would return to install it. He called and came back just a few hours later and not only beautifully installed the molding but he filled the smal holes in the door frame made by re-nailing it back in place. I had mentioned to him before he started first thing that morning that we had just had the interior of the house painted and I was strongly asking him to take extra precaution not to nick or scratch the walls or frames. When he was done, other than a beautiful new door, you would never know anything had been disturbed. We are extremely pleased with our experience and a few of our neighbors have already commented on how nice the new door looks.

(Unicorp were able to end a 18 month nightmare with our windows. When we moved in to our 1968 house in the summer of 2012 we had another company take out all the windows to replace rotted press board sills with pine ones, remove mold, and repair drywall. We also had trim placed around all of the windows. Though the other company warned us that the windows weren't good unfortunately that news didn't come until they had taken them all out. The first heavy rain led to leaking through all 18 windows in the house. Multiple call backs, caulking and re-caulking, adding flashing, and sealing inside the windows themselves after forking out over $600 for a water infiltration inspection) got us no-where. Contractors called in to help us with the problem all wanted to replace the siding and all of the windows and maybe even the roof. Yikes! Unicorp originally also advised a new siding job but after reviewing the report from the water infiltration inspectors they decided that they could fix the problem just with new replacement windows, keeping the pine sills (though trimming them) and keeping all of our new trim. Other companies wanted to pull off the siding and place in new construction windows, removing all the trim and costing a lot more. We were nervous to go with the replacement window solution but were very re-assured when UNICORP wrote into their contract that they would be responsible for any continued problems with water after they had replaced the windows and would keep coming back until the problem was resolved. They scheduled us in good time, got the work done in less than a day for 9 windows, were punctual and professional. The windows look great. My heart sank though 2 months later when heavy rain once again hit the side of the house and water started to run down the wall. I called UNICORP right away and within a week (once the ice and snow had melted) they were back and ready to address the problem. They identified problems with the flashing water collecting under the siding above the window and immediately got to work to take care of it on all the windows they had installed. They were no complaints, no excuses, just a group of guys ready to fix a problem. I have waited over a month to post this review, nervous that the water would win again but last week we had heavy rain hitting the same side of the house for the 3rd or 4th time since the fix and there is absolutely no sign of water. I can't begin to tell you how relieved and grateful I am and I am so pleased that the fix that initially was priced at close to $30,000 (with all new windows and siding) was eventually completed for under $6000 (for 9 new windows). Thank you UNICORP and we know that if there are any problems with these windows going forward we can trust you to follow through and fix the problem.

Our basement sliding glass door was leaking and we needed to fix it in order to complete our basement. So we decided to replace the door. We also thought having a storm door would be good. After searching Angie's List for a door company, I made an appointment with Unicorp. Less than a week later, David R. came to show us their products. After meeting with two other companies, we were most comfortable with Unicorp and their quote. It took a little longer than expected to get our french doors, but as soon as Unicorp received them, we scheduled installation. The installation crew was great! Almost everything went according to plan until the brand new french doors leaked water. After several attempts to fix the situation, Unicorp contacted the manufacturer and they were able to get someone from the door company to come out. The problem was resolved by both companies. A few months later, the storm door started to stick to the bottom plate and we noticed the color of the hinges on the french doors did not match the door handles. I immediately emailed Megan. She promptly returned my email and we scheduled a time and day to have someone come out. JR was on time and rectified the new problems we had. We had door issues, but Unicorp was very professional and quick to resolve them. Megan kept us informed and relayed how Unicorp would be there for us. My husband and I were very pleased with the services and professionalism from Unicorp!

I had very good experience with College Park branch. They were very nice people to work with. I do not remember the exact and how to price that out. It is like 2 different jobs. The siding job costs $13000. I cannot remember because it a bunch of different things. I did not have complaints with them.

The salesperson was knowledgeable and not at all pushy. She understood what we wanted and helped us to make our selection. Later on when we called her with several questions, she replied cheerfully, patiently, and fully. The two gentlemen who came out to do the measurements were excellent. They explained to us what they were doing and what to expect on the installation day. They had to do a little extra work to get in and make sure that our existing header did span the entire distance across the door and sidelights. I asked them to provide a sketch of the new exterior so that I could get my Homeowners Association OK for the project, and they Emailed it to me few days later. On installation day, the installation of the front door w/sidelights and the exterior trim went smoothly. The installation of the door from the house to the garage proved more difficult, but they got everything done in one day. After the rest of the crew had left, the lead installer presented me with the bill. He did not suggest an inspection, but he did agree to go around with us to check everything out. There were two problems with the door from the house to the garage: (1) the door did not automatically close as it should have and (2) there was significant air leakage around the lock. The installer was able to fix these problems, but I feel he should have found them himself before asking for the money. After about 5 weeks, everything looks great and works fine. We are very satisfied overall.

We are so pleased with Unicorp at every step of this job: initial contact, answering questions, decision making process, installation, clean up. Everyone in the company we had contact with was helpful, courteous, informed. The siding looks great as do the windows.

After interviewing several companies from Angie's list, we decided on Unicorp to do the install on our new windows and sliding glass door. Their prices were great and from the moment the sales rep came over to give his presentation, we knew we were dealing with a very professional well established company. When we explained that we were getting ready to sell our home and needed new windows, he did not try to sell us mire than we needed. He was very up front about the product choices and was very knowledgeable about the process. On the day the install was supposed to take place, we had a snow storm that prevented the install from happening. Unicorp was great and scheduled us for the very next day. Two hardworking guys showed up and were able to take care of the whole project in about 4 hours. All of the trim taken down was replaced and they cleaned up the whole area to the point where you wouldn't realize any work had been done. The day after the install, we had a small issue with the sliding door screen, and when I contacted Unicorp, they scheduled a tech to come out and address the problem, which he did. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to install new windows or doors. If you want a straight forward, no nonsense, well priced company...this is it. they made the whole process very easy.

They were excellent. They were very responsive, helpful and accomodating. They even took down my vertical blinds and reinstalled them.

They were prompt and courteous. They arrived promptly at 8:30 a.m. and worked diligently all day until 6:45 p.m. The job turned out to be bigger than anticipated because they had to put in an entire new doorframe for the front door, which they did at no additional cost to us. Then, when it turned out that the storm door we got was not the one we remembered ordering, they replaced the storm door with the one we wanted at no extra cost to us, even though the door had to be special ordered because it is not a standard size. All and all, I would say that this company gives excellent service.

Our experience with Unicorp was great, and I would highly recommend them if you are replacing windows in your house. In fact our next door neighbors came over and saw our windows inside and out and called Unicorp the next day, to come out for an estimate. They chose Unicorp to do their windows as well. Based on past experience, we always like to get several estimates before we choose, especially with something as big as replacing all the windows in our house. When Unicorp came to give an estimate, it was on our time which was at 1 in the afternoon on a week day, and only one of us had to be here. The president of the company, Brian, came out and was here for about 30 to 45 minutes to give us an estimate. He answered all our questions and there were no lectures or high pressure sales tactics. We told him up front that we were getting three estimates. He gave us two prices- medium quality and highest quality. The selection was very good and we chose the highest quality Prodigy windows and went with crystal grids. We had never seen them before and liked the look. He asked us to give him another shot if we could beat his price. But as it turned out, no one else could beat his price and quality. A day or so after we signed a contract, one of the installers from Unicorp came out on a separate visit to get exact details including measurements, exterior trim color and style of latches. He called an hour before the scheduled time to let us know he was on the way. Six weeks later the Unicorp installers scheduled and came out. The installation job took a day and a half and looked great inside and out. The installers were very meticulous, to the point that they weren?t satisfied with the fit some of the sashes. When they showed us, we honestly couldn?t tell anything was wrong but the installer insisted they need to be a perfect fit, and weren?t. He had the manufacturer come out to the house-right then and there on the job. Brian even showed up to meet with them. No fuss no muss with any of it. The factory is local and works with Brian and Unicorp all the time. The replacement sashes were ordered by Unicorp and within a couple weeks were ready. The factory sent their own tech to swap them out , which was very simple for them since the initial window installation was done to perfection. Our windows look beautiful and we can tell a big difference. Finally I have to tell you that we weren't prepared for the torture that the other window companies provide when coming out to give an estimate. Most of them prefer both spouses if you're married, to be there. They need two hours of your time and some space to set up their demos and displays (heat lamps and light meters, etc.). Then the pricing tactic- they try to convince you after their little show that their windows are the best and worth the outrageous price they quote. Then there's the "final price" they'll give you as you kick them out the door. For us, one estimator (from a big window company you see in your junk mail all the time) literally lowered the price by $7000 in his final seconds in our house. What a waste of our time! I even got an email from them a few daters later that they could drop it another $1000 if I act now, and it was still much higher than Brian's one estimate! Don't waste your time is my best advice. Go with Unicorp. And although you can order the windows with or without grids, check out the look of the crystal grids, especially if you're considering windows without grids.

We were extremely pleased with the service provided. UNICORP gave a very competitive quote, and a detailed specification. They carried out the work thoroughly and professionally. The initial contact we had with them, as with the other companies who provided quotes, consisted of a home visit to assess the work. One of the other companies provided too little information about what they would do and their qualifications. The other, a national company that advertises widely, indulged in very unpleasant high-pressure sales techniques and deliberate misinformation. UNICORP struck the right balance, providing the information we needed without the high-pressure. I would recommend them highly to anyone wishing to avoid being misled, pressured and over-charged by one of the major brands. We were impressed by the speed, neatness and tidiness of their workers. The quality of the windows provided has fully met expectations. When some small modifications needed to be made after the initial installation, the company cooperated fully and helpfully, and undertook the additional work at no extra charge.

Very prompt in providing cost estimate and then setting up contract. Accurate on schedule for when windows could be installed. Office staff very friendly about setting up installation time, sent emails and called to confirm. Had to reschedule due to weather and were very accomindating to my schedule for new day/time. Crew was very polite and efficient. Cleaned up after their work. Good experience overall.

They did an amazing job. The roof was $7,000 and the windows and doors were $15,000. The job was absolutely exceptional. The lead installer had a phD in mechanical engineering. The owner did a really good job working with me as far as options because I needed something that was a little bit out of the ordinary, which did affect the price. I have some unusual features on my windows. Based on my 20 years of engineering experience, they had all the correct answers as far as what an informed consumer should ask before replacing windows. They were very honest and knew details about construction.

It went well. They helped in the whole process. They helped me choose the right door and the installers were on time and do an outstanding job.

Unicorp did a fantastic job. They were professional and timely and we appreciate the attention to detail. The windows look great and work like charm! We also had installed a new patio glass door, which Unicorp handled - the door looks great and again, Unicorp did the little things to make sure the door was installed correctly and looks great from the outside and the inside.
