Description of Work: Installed new tile floor in master bathroom. Crew was on time and performed the job within the hours Design Expo had specified. There were a couple of small, tangetial issues with the work but were easily fixed without needing the crew to return. Design Expo did call to follow up and was informed about the issues and promised to make the installation crew aware of them.

Description of Work: We had engineered wood flooring and tiles installed in our living room, dining room, office and hallway. Because the house is on a cement slab, we had to have some areas evened out. The tile/wood connection popped up and they came back and had to use screws and glue to keep it in place. |The workers were outstanding. Very professional and expert in their work. Very satisfied with the results.

Description of Work: I had laminate and hard wood installed in my home. The contractor who put in my floor was very professional and punctual. he made a point of asking if it would be ok for him to come at a later time than expected. He was very neat, ensuing that everything was clean and in order before he left for the day. Gene at Design Expo did a great job of matching laminate and hard wood to the existing laminate that I already had in my house. He was very patient and easy to work with. I would definitely use Design Expo again.

All services were done in a professional manner. The installation crew was prompt, hardworking, and did an excellent job. Description of Work: They installed a hardwood floor in my family room. I chose them again, because they had already installed the same hardwood floor in my entryway, powder room and kitchen. There are always a few glitches with the installation (dented dishwasher when they did the kitchen, chipped furniture when they did the family room) that makes me wish the company checked after the service to see if customers are satisfied. So, would I use them again - maybe. They are easy to work with in getting the estimate, and I had a tight timeline for getting the project done and they worked with me on that.

+ 1 moreGene Burton came out to look at the projects and provided a comprehensive estimate that was more than competitive PLUS Design Expo is more than a hole-in-the-wall store front. Gene was patient during the selection process and provided valuable professional insight. The tile crew completed demo in 1/2 day. When the tile arrived, they returned and completed 100% of the installation in 3 days including installing a new shower rod. The carpet crew cleared out the FOUR bedrooms, removed old carpets, installed new carpets and cleaned up in a SINGLE DAY. My upstairs looks absolutely FANTASTIC. Stress-free. Both crews and Gene were on time, efficient, respectful of my home and professional.

+ 1 moreWe talked to Gene about options for our living room area. We have four dogs, and our carpet showed it. We initially asked about a hardy carpet that would stand up to abuse from the dogs, but Gene steered us away from carpet and toward other options. We ultimately decided on ceramic tile. Gene was easy to work with, and took the time to figure out what we needed and wanted, and didn't try to push us into something we didn't want. He carefully explained the pluses and minuses of each choice. Gene came to our house to measure and explain the installation process. The first day, the sub-contractor showed up on schedule. They sent one person to remove the old carpet and get the floor prepared, and two more arrived to do the tile work. They completed laying the tile the first day, and returned the second day (a few hours later than expected) to handle the grouting. The work was fantastic, the crew was friendly, and they finished quickly.

+ -1 moreI visited the store first - the owner was very up front and helpful with suggestions, then left me alone to look through the products (a lot of choices!). He then came out to do the measuring two days later in the evening. In just over a week, I had my floors installed! They were done very well, no debris left behind, and it's made such a difference, I'm having them do another area in hardwood. The owner is very prompt with return calls and measuring, keeps in touch with you before and after the installation, and is friendly and knowledgeable about his product!
