Description of Work: Ordered 3 Weathershield windows & 3 patio doors. The salesman came out to meet with me & my contractor to confirm the correct window/door for type, sizing & style to match existing. Measured & we discussed details. Sent quote in timely fashion & promptly returned my inquiries. Product arrived when stated. Called with installer issues & salesman came right out to answer questions in person when installer did not understand. Professional, friendly, helpful, conscientious & very near perfect. When installer lost a part, salesman helped me order it, and when it arrived brought it to my house HIMSELF to save time. I am ordering ALL my windows from theses guys.

I decided to used Unicorp
Description of Work: The salesman could not answer a basic question. I wanted to know about the installation techniques. He told me that's a question for the installer to answer. You can buy the best window on the market, but installation is the key for any window purchase. Unicorp answer the question. They use a hilti foam technique.

Each project is different and can call for specific techniques and product. Quality Window & Door is a non-proprietary window dealer and offer multiple brands. Offering multiple brands causes for specific planning when setting up the proper installation process because each window is manufactured different, thus calling for multiple product resources when installing windows & doors. The gentleman who came out was quite courteous and knowledgeable. We are replacing windows due to a leak(we believe in the frame). We thought it was odd he didn't just flat out quote, but said he would have to have his installer come out to look and give a detailed estimate to replace the framing too. Friends recommended them to us and were very happy, but we decided to go with another contractor whose price was better(although we felt his price was fair).

The men that came were very knowledgeable about what were the best windows to use. We decided on Weather Shield windows and their price was very reasonable. They installed the windows and doors without a hitch and did this all very prompt and professionally.
Description of Work: I had 6 front doors with glass inlaid windows and about 60 double paned windows, including casement windows, installed in our new home. They did this in about 2 days total and all the used material and waste was thrown into the rail bin disposal we had set up for the builders of the house.

QWD saved the day. Since I got taken advantage of NuView, QWD took care of me and did the job for the same price that I was given by Nuview. They did a great job and always returned my phone calls.

WE HAVE HAD WEATHERSHIELD WINDOWS PURCHASED FROM QUALITY WINDOW AND DOOR SINCE OUR FIRST RENOVATION IN 1990. THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY GOOD ABOUT RETURNING CALLS FOR SERVICE AND DOING THE REPAIR JOB CORRECTLY.
Description of Work: OUR BASEMENT WINDOWS ARE WEATHERSHIELD CASEMENT WINDOWS WITH CRANKS. DURING A RECENT RENOVATION, THE CRANKING MECHANISM WAS BROKEN AND THE ENTIRE SPLIT ARM ROTO OPERATOR HAD TO BE REPLACED.
