My basement was being remodeled and several areas of the floor joists and subfloor appeared to have mold. I contacted Commonwealth Environmental Services based on their Angie's List reviews. My phone call was returned within a couple of hours. Don met me at my home that afternoon and confirmed the presence of mold. Don provided me a quote that evening and was able to schedule the work for the following day. The work was performed on time and was completed in a few hours. I was left with documentation describing the scope of work. The documentation may be given to future homeowners if we ever move. The entire process was extremely professional; I recommend Don and his team.

I called Commonwealth Environmental Services for mold assessment. Don returned my call very promptly. We made appointment. On that appointment day, Don was right on time and was very polite and professional. He went into the apartment and checked the situation very carefully and was not able to find any visible mold. He then wrote up a report for me on the findings and did not even charge me for that (even though I offered to pay him since we did not know if there was mold at the beginning and report was something extra). He said to see the work, there was no charge. In my view, Don is truly an honest and trustworthy person. Though I cannot hire him for this work since we do not have mold, I will definitely use him if the opportunity comes and refer him to people who will need his service.

Richard Power quickly returned my call and made an appointment. He was on time and did an inspection. Turns out we had no mold. He was professional, knowledgeable and helpful, and refused my offer for $ for his time. Really impressed.

He was very accessible, he explained everything, very easy and nice to deal with, prompt and I will use him again definitely. They were punctual and he return calls.

Very informative, pleasant and professional from start to finish. Quick workers, clean up thoroughly after their through. Prior to my hiring them they answered many questions I had, provided me with references, insurance coverages and so on.

I am selling my condo, and during the home inspection they found mold in the attic. I called Rich, and Rich called me back right away to set up an appointment to see my attic and give an estimate. He brought his own collapsible ladder to get up in the area to check things out. He went over the paperwork-binder that I would get, including a 5 year warranty that would be transferable to the party buying my condo. Also included in the paperwork were about 3 pages of references. I decided to go with Rich and CES (Commonwealth Environmental Services) based on their superb professionalism, and they are listed with BBB.org (Better Business Bureau). The day of the mold cleaning, Dave, whom I believe is Rich's brother, and another guy came. I was very impressed. They put tarps from the front door through the living room through the bedroom to where the attic crawl space was. Rich originally mentioned I think it would take 1/2 day at most. Dave and the other guy were done in a little over an hour. There was really no need for them to shop-vac anything from the carpet since they had the tarps down, but they did. Dave went over the booklet with me, and left me a second booklet for the "buyer of" my condo. They mentioned there was a good amount of mold up there, and the space was very tight to work in, which I knew about from when Rich checked it out. I was very impressed with their work, how quickly they got it down, and their superb professionalism.
