Used window world in Providence RI and they did a great job at 1/2 the price of NEWPRO
Description of Work: I wanted a bay window replaced. They came to my house and do their normal song and dance and quoted $11,800. I called another vendor and got a better window for under $5000.

I contacted New Pro windows and a representative came to our house. He sat and showed us the different types of windows available. He then demonstrated why New Pro windows were better than some of the other styles. We talked about financing and were happy to see we could have 2 years to pay for them interest free. We have a lifetime warranty for the windows. I did notice that first winter our house was much warmer, we weren't getting drafts from the windows in the living room. They replaced our picture window and 2 smaller windows in the living room with 3 windows all the same size. It does look much nicer. The windows are easy to open and we get a nice breeze in the springtime and early fall. When we needed to use our central air we also noticed the house was cooler and the central air wasn't running as long as it did when we had our old windows. The company calls once a year to check on our satisfaction with the windows. I like this feature, it shows the company cares about its customers and wants to make sure everything is fine with the windows. We needed new siding so we have decided to go with them for this as well. I was not happy with the person who initially called to see if we would like the siding. He was the salesperson and was very pushy. If I didn't like the company so much and had such a good experience the first time, I would have hung up and never gone with them. They set up an appointment to come and see the house. The gentlemen were punctual. They walked around the house and made notes on what we wanted done. Then they went around the house and measured it. They showed us the type of insulation to be used and pictures of a house that had the same color siding we choose so we could see what it would look like. They came in to talk to us about the cost, worked out a great finance plan of 24 months interest free. Also, gave us all the discounts that would apply which helped to lower the cost. The representatives were knowledgeable about the product. They took us through all the steps involved when the work was to be done, including someone returning to take the measurements again to make sure everything is correct. FANTASTIC, AWESOME, CARING COMPANY who live up to their promises of a good quality product and customer satisfaction.

They did a fantastic job. They did the whole bathroom in one day. The scheduling was a little messed up but other than that the workmanship was excellent. The price was a little on the high side.

Replaced first floor windows on my house, should have known from the pushy sales pitch that we should have stayed away but we went with them any way to replace our windows total of 7 windows including a picture window in our living room. The windows are hard to lock shut and take me about 5 minutes a window to lock, if they lock at all. one of the windows is already cracked around the frame. Also the large picture window in the front of our living room has a slight draft. My husband has called but after months of waiting for repair we finally gave up hope however their sales force was very prompt at trying to get us to replace our front door with them however I pointed out if I have difficulty locking their windows I wasn't really excited about having them replace our front door. Update: Since this review they have been onsite and quickly resolved the locking issue on the Windows, and it was greatly appreciated. Still waiting on them resolving the issue of the cracked frame however the repair person on site said he would be in contact with us. Thank you NewPro!

Response from NEWPRO
A service appointment had been scheduled for January 2015 to evaluate the problem with the windows. NEWPRO arrived and the customer was not home. The customer called and apologized that they forgot about the appt. Since that time NEWPRO has made multiple attempts to reschedule without contact or a return call back. The owner of the company Nick Cogliani made contact and spoke with the Mr. on 2/9/2016 - the customer acknowledged that they did receive messages but has had a busy schedule as a firefighter and has not had a chance to reschedule the service appt. The appt is now set for 2/17/2016 for a service technician to go out and evaluate and rectify the situation. NEWPRO is 100% committed to customer satisfaction and stands behind their warranties and products supporting serving New England homeowners for over 70 years.

The service aspect is exemplary. The installation and cleanup processes weren't always so great. They're not always 100% spot on. They do provide good customer service as best as they can.
Description of Work: They've replaced windows on several occasions. Their product is superior to any others. The cost is expensive but the savings on heating costs is substantial.

We had entered into contract with them to install shower liners + on 10/30, Installation was estimated for 12/4. Was told that I would be notified if there was a delay. No call was received. Nobody showed up! Rescheduled for 12/12. No call received prior to their arrival. Showed up after 9:15 after we had given up hope of anyone showing up. Showed up with missing material - so they could not start work! I managed to contact the guy I had dealt with initially. He was going to find out and call me back. - No calls received! Do not keep their commitments. There is always something missing. Stands up Customers with no shows, or shows up with missing stuff so they do not have to honor their part of Contract. Take my advice. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY unless you have lots of patience and willingness to be screwed - Their contract is completed one sided. They are covered even if they fail to deliver on their part. You will be completely at their mercy! (At least that is what I am going through now!) 12/14: Talked to their manager and told him my excitement for their services was gone. As far as I was concerned, they have failed to deliver reasonable expected service and was not happy with their commitment. He stated that he will not return my deposit. He was not willing to give me a date when installation would be done! " He will call me when the missing material is ready. They do not manufacture it." What a way to run an outfit. Now I will be cursing them every time I take my shower. Bad Company and terrible inconvenience to us as we had to change our plans twice already!- Empty the bathroom, cover glass etc.. Serves me right for falling for their "Family owned 70 year company."

Reminded me of a couple of jobs I once had in sales. We were taught some techniques and tricks to get past people's resistance to buying. We were encouraged to sell substandard products that made more money for us. My partner and I listened politely to the Newpro person's pitch and bargained for the best price. But when we tried to say "Thanks, we'll sleep on it" we were told the price was good for then only, that once the salesperson leaves the quote goes away. We thought this was pretty ridiculous and high pressure, and shamed the guy into giving us until start of business the next day. But wisdom prevailed and we opted not to saddle the next owners of this house with a cheap looking bathroom. We'll have to spend more than we wanted but the job will end up done well, rather than as cheaply as possible. We also won't be painting the bathtub.
Description of Work: Came over to our house and gave us a sales presentation. Instead of starting with the bathroom, they started with a company history. After a long while, looked at our bathroom, made a few measurements. Then a short discussion about money.

Reading reviews is important in selecting contractors/vendors. Had I know and read reviews on Newpro, I would have ran. The so called service by Newpro is beyond awful. We spent $28K with the company and they didn't even have the common courtesy to let us know that the manufacturing and installation of the windows will be delayed for a while. Interestingly, the manager was always quick to call for payment as if we are stealing from them. Granted at the end they gave us a $250 refund for all the bad work, the caulking to fill air gap between window and frame was bad and we only discovered it because we renovated one of the rooms where they replaced the windows. Insulation was almost nowhere to be found but Newpro manager was quick to say making the installation air tight isn't appropriate which is a stack contrast to what the sales person told us during sales. The windows we purchased are supposed to be triple pane windows with special Kypton gas filled windows but I can't see the third pane. The old windows had dividers but the ones sold to us didn't. They wanted another $200 - $400 per window for the dividers so we decided against them. The customer service again was ridiculous to non-existent. They used the excuse of just moving to another office so they couldn't contact us to provide information but their manager was always available to call us for payment back to back even when I told them I was going away. The harassment about payment alone was unbelievable. He had something about end of month closure that he wanted me to pay with credit card so he can close his book. I had a check ready for him or his sales person but he annoyingly hounded me with phone calls and text messages. I WILL NEVER USE NEWPRO EVER EVER AGAIN. I suggest you never use them either. They are selling overpriced windows with bad customer service. Try Champion or Windows World based on reviews I've since read .

NEWPRO carefully reviewed [member name removed]'s review and each point mentioned. The windows were purchaed on December 16 with an estimated start date for install of 1/29. The windows were installed 1/26, a couple days prior to the estimated start date. However one of the windows was a custom specialty circle-top that needed to be bent which was delayed due to the circumstances of customization and this was communicated to the homeowner. The homeowner received exactly the window he was presented which was a triple pane composite window with a .16 u-factor - one of the most energy efficient in country - rated by the NFRC a national performance testing company. They were installed to Installation Masters specs with custom capping of exterior trim- all windows were installed for superior performance - Regarding payment, once work is complete, per the agreement, final payment is due - standard procedures were followed to collect the balance. Newpro's customer service is nationally recognized for exceptional service. NEWPRO invests in a third party survey company conducted after installation to review each project direct with the homeowner to evaluate performance from start to finish. NEWPRO product specialists and installers are evaluated and performance measured based on these reviews. Customer service is NEWPRO's #1 priority and is evident by an over 70 year reputation for exceptional products and services in New England. There are many window companies to choose from and NEWPRO stands by their selection and delivery of only the best performance engineering to meet the needs of New England which far exceed other window (home improvement) companies in the market.

I purchased 18 windows where were installed in Oct. '14. As the cold weather set in, we began noticing drafts and overall cold temps in the house. Upon closer inspection of the new windows I noticed that they were not set squarely; many of them were bowed outwards in the middle. Some had light leaking around the sash they were so bad. I called Newpro and they sent a service crew out who put weather stripping around the sashes. I gave this a chance but it was clear that the fix was just a bandaid on the problem. So I call again and was told there would be a conference call with their factory and I might have the windows replaced. However, when the tech came out again, he just added more weather stripping. Once again, I called to try and get this resolved but at this point it became nearly impossible to get in touch with anybody there, nobody returned my calls. Fortunately a nice lady in another department helped get my complaint noticed, even though it wasn't her job. So for the 3rd time, couple techs come out and they tried to bend the frames by putting in screws and a shim here and there, but they didn't touch some of the windows with the worst issues. So l get an independent contractor to come out and evaluate my windows, hoping that this would empower me as a consumer in getting this matter resolved without going to court. He noted many issues with the install job, lack of insulation, and pointed out that the draft actually was coming in from around the frame, not so much because of the crooked windows (but that was also a problem he confirmed). Armed with this knowledge, I call Newpro and mentioning legal action, finally got to speak with somebody in charge. However, the owner clearly had limited knowledge of the history of this yet was skeptical of my complaints, and said they'd call back in a week or so to set up another visit.

I scheduled an appointment at the Home Show in Foxboro two weeks ago. Got a call last week to confirm the appointment (they had written down the wrong day so we changed it over the phone). Sat here this afternoon waiting for someone to show up. After 20 minutes, I called Newpro and they did not have us on the system despite the fact that I have a written appointment reminder that they gave me. They said they would re-schedule. I declined. If this is the level of service that is provided at this stage (when they are trying to sell), then I can just imagine what they will be like once they are hired. Also tried to reach them via chat on their web site, no response. Finally tried to reach their executive offices, and was put back into the sales chain. Horrible experience which makes me wonder how they stay in business.

Sales person showed up on time dressed very professionally. He gave us a 2 hour talk on how bad vinyl windows were and showing pictures of the issues with vinyl windows. When we asked him to just show us their window and discuss our project he ignored the request. When it finally came to price he wrote down 38,000 for 23 windows. We said no thank you and he proceeded to say if we signed the contract right then without thinking it over it could be dropped to 19,000. We said we wouldn't sign any contracts for that much without thinking it over. He proceeded to try to talk us into doing just 1 room instead of our whole house. When we said no he kept pushing and it took us another 30 minutes before he finally left our house. The next day I received a phone call saying after the salesmen left the house he drove around and thinks my neighborhood would be a good place for special windows at a discounted price. When I asked the price they said it was too good to tell me over then phone it could only be done in person. I said no thank you then. They proceeded to call me back everyday for 5 days even after I asked them to stop contacting me. The only way new pro stopped contacting me was when I said I would be filing a complaint with my local police department and told them I did this.

About 20 years ago my mother had beveled windows put in the house. They came with a lifetime warranty, and anytime something goes wrong, they come back and replace the glass. Unfortunately the service experience was not as good. The technician was quite early (another appointment had cancelled). When he started to take apart the first window he found that the molding around it had fused over the years so there was a good chance trying to proceed would break the glass, and that would cost $200 to replace. So far none of that was any fault of theirs. The not-good part came from when he put the window back together: he did not reinsert the window stop guides, and the window is quite difficult to raise and lower now. When my partner discovered these issues she called him. His reply was to throw away the stops and "the window is opening and closing". So we are worse off than before, and need to go get some drill and screw-on window lifts to fix them. When we eventually replace any windows we will look for another vendor.
Description of Work: The Newpro windows in the house we just bought had several whose lift handles were broken. I called to find out if they were covered by any transferable warranty - no, since they were installed in 1992 before they offered that. The window model did not allow for them to just sell us new handles because the entire window needs to come apart and the glass removed in order to install the handles. But they offered to give me 1 hour of free labor, which should be enough time to do the installs. They were pleasant on the phone, and made an appointment for their service person to come promptly.

(Removed Member Name) - thank you for your review and for speaking with me today. As one of the family owners of the company I make it a priority to personally address reviews especially if someone is less than delighted with their NEWPRO experience. As we discussed, the home you purchased had windows installed by NEWPRO in 1991. At that time warranties were very limited, however, we always try to extend complimentary service to evaluate needs and concerns and hope to address them free of charge if at all possible. As we discussed technology and engineering has greatly improved since 1991 and our warranties today are 50 years with full transferability. Thank you for taking our discussion into consideration and my offer to come out and personally address window upgrades and your concerns is open to whenever you are ready to do so. So NewPro showed up at my door soliciting for work about 3 months ago. I was very busy at the time so I told them to call me and I would set up a time for them to come out and give me a quote for replacement windows for 16 windows and bathroom remodels for 2 bathrooms. We planned to do this work sometime in the spring so I told them to call me around March 2014 and I would schedule something. 2 weeks later they called, I again explained that I wanted a call in March. Then they just kept calling. I am assuming their telemarketers don't understand what it means to wait until March to call. So the last call, about 2 weeks ago, the lady on the phone tries to set up my appointment. I tell her again that I want to wait until March. She gives me two options and I tell her no and then she goes on and says ok so Saturday February 15 works for you, would 10 or 2 be better. Finally I told her to tell the guy to show up at 10 sharp. She tells me on the phone to ensure my wife is home so that the representative can speak to you both. Just for a little background, we have a newborn child so my wife's availability is sporadic and it just so happened that while the "representative" was at our house, our child needed to eat, so my wife became unavailable to speak with him. So he shows up, I explain that my wife is unavailable and he gets all huffy puffy saying that we were told we would both have to be home, etc. Last I checked, I am the customer and NewPro is the business, they aren't the bosses of me and they aren't going to dictate who speaks with them. Bottom line was that my wife and I already know exactly what we want in windows and bathroom upgrades so regardless of whom they speak with, they will come out with the same answer. So the salesman decides that he would like to at least look at the bathrooms. When I spoke to NewPro on the phone they said they do bathroom remodels. This salesman asked me in a snarky way "what do you want us to do in here" when he looked at the first bathroom. I told him what we wanted and he said "I can’t help you with that" acting as though NewPro is above replacing a vanity/sink, toilet, flooring, shower door, etc. Last I checked, those items are what a bathroom remodel is. So basically the salesman sold himself and his company out of business the moment he opened his mouth. Then we look at the second bathroom and he says that replacing the tub and enclosure with one of theirs would be between $5,000 and $10,000 and that if we didn't "hate" our bathroom that we should just stick to what we have and deal with it. Good sales tactic there. He made it sound as though he knew that his prices were so high that we wouldn't be able to afford it. He was wrong, but NewPro will never receive our business so I can care less what this salesman thinks. He also said that our bathrooms were more “Do it Yourself” type of projects. Last I checked, removing and installing a tub, toilet, sink, vanity, electrical, exhaust fan, flooring, etc. was not DIY. If I wanted to do it myself I wouldn’t have contractors over to give me quotes. He said this so that when he tells me the tub will cost $10,000 to replace I wont freak out. They must be selling gold plated tubs for that price because the photos he showed me were not high-end bathtubs and showers. Then I ask him about replacement windows. I was already prepared to kick him out of my house because he was rude, but figured I would see if we could at least get some pricing on windows so that the 30 minutes I had already spent with him wouldn't be a total waste of time. So he ran out to his car to get his window display kits because he has to show me the windows to make sure I like them before he wastes his time measuring (yea he really said that). Perhaps he thought I was stupid. I know what a window looks like and I know exactly the type and style of window I want. The better way for him to approach this situation would have been to measure and then tell me the prices for each window they sell. The bottom line is if their lowest end window costs $300 and their highest $1000, they wont be selling me the $1000 window if my budget is $500 per window...it just wont happen. So he came back in the house with his window kits and asked where my wife was. I again told him that she was busy feeding our child and she was not able to join us. He got a little testy and said "well this is a family decision and she must be present when I speak to you about this and I will just have to come back another day", then he started packing his bags to go. I told him that we could still talk about the windows so we can get a quote and then my wife and I would discuss it. He talked briefly about windows and then said he would have the office call to make a new appointment. He seemed very annoyed as though I wasted his time coming all the way out to my house to sell his product that he never even tried to sell. As a matter of fact, he came to my house to prove to me that I will never hire NewPro to do any work at my house and I hope that this review will help others make their own decisions about the company. Before leaving he commented that he would never allow his neighbor in his neighborhood to keep large dump trucks and other heavy construction equipment in his driveway next door. He made it seem as though we lived in some sort of low-income area or something to that effect. What he didn’t know was that my neighbor works for the city and state when there are large snowstorms and he plows roads. His equipment was in his driveway because of the snowstorm today. When there isn’t a storm, his equipment is nowhere to be seen. Nosy NewPro guy! So we ended our little visit with NewPro without a business card and a simple good bye. This was the first time that a salesman did not give me a business card. As a matter of fact, he never even told me his name. All he said when he arrived was that he was from NewPro.

Response from NEWPRO
Upon receipt of this complaint, one of the owners and VP of Sales, Anthony Cogliani, contacted the customer to review their NEWPRO experience and expressed apologies for any dissatisfaction as it is always the goal to delight the homeowner. The experience was not representative of NEWPRO's standards and practices. The homeowner was very responsive and happy to hear from the owner of the company. NEWPRO values feedback from customers and prospects. NEWPRO uses consumer feedback for quality assurance and training purposes to ensure every NEWPRO employee upholds the practices and performance criteria that has provided NEWPRO the superior customer service reputation it has maintained for over 65 years.

Newpro performed renovation work at my father's house. While the quality of the work was not bad, my feeling is that the cost for the work was very excessive. My father is a generous, kindly man in his 80s who, despite his high level of education is still quite naïve in some ways. Ever since my mother died in 2003 much of what most of us would consider the normal maintenance of his home has been left undone. They had been together for 46 years and he had simply never had to consider any of that. Also as I mentioned, he's very naïve in some ways - he is generally not suspicious of other people's intentions and imagines that "experts" in any given field will explain all the options and ramifications of whatever they have in mind. In short, he can be a sucker for a sales pitch. In August of 2009 Newpro installed vinyl siding on his house. The project was not actually completed until 4 years later. In fact the contractor only came back this past summer to install the final piece of trim because someone had contacted my father to try and get some more work out of him. The calls he had made to the contractor prior to that had been ignored. Incidentally, after the siding contractors left in 2009, the outside floodlights on his house no longer functioned - and still don't. Also, an outside electrical socket had been removed and then replaced, but it was left barely hanging on the siding. Having some small experience with electricity myself, I'm fairly sure this presents a certain level of danger of fire, electrocution, or both. This past year someone from Newpro's sales force called to see if my father had any further home renovation type work that they might do. He mentioned that his bathroom was in rough shape. Newpro decided to sell him a Bathwrap - essentially a plastic liner for the shower area. When he told me he had paid well over $8000 for the work I thought he was joking. When I discovered it was true I felt sick. My father never saved enough to retire, and still works. Last year he made around $12000, which means it cost nearly 3/4 of his yearly income - for a plastic tub surround. I contacted Newpro to see if I could get some idea of the wholesale costs of the tub surround, and what sort of markup they charged. I still don't know, but based on my own experience with bathroom renovations I would have to guess that the costs were marked up by a factor of at least 5. Aside from the cost, however, Newpro did not provide what he needed so much as what they wished to sell him. The new tub surround is certainly nice, but the rest of the bathroom itself was in terrible shape. He actually needed a new toilet, a new vanity, a new sink and new fixtures, not to mention the broken light, the loose tiles, the rotting subfloor, or the mold on the walls and ceiling. Newpro glued the new ceiling plate of the tub surround right over the moldy paint. Based on what I saw later, I believe the tub itself was placed over rotting wood. Quite frankly the tub surround looked absurdly out of place - like a shiny plastic Cadillac parked in front of a decrepit shack. I think most home reno contractors would have carefully explained what they thought he should have done to improve his situation, rather than just rather arbitrarily installing a tub surround and nothing else. Incidentally the condition of the bathroom was a bit shocking for me as well - I travel extensively for work and hadn't seen the place for a very long time. Since this all happened I spent several evenings gutting and replacing every component of the bathroom except the tub surround. New subfloor, floor tiles, vanity, toilet, sink, faucet, plumbing, lighting, mirror, trim, mold treatment, wall patches, 4 coats of paint, and accessories came to just about $1200, which included hiring a licensed electrician to install the new light fixture, and to install a brand new GFCI socket. At the time of this writing the bathroom looks brand new. Jack actually did provide feedback on his experience with Newpro via Guildquality.com, so they would have known he was unhappy if anyone had read it. But of course he's way too gentle and polite to express himself with any degree of forcefulness. Returning to the subject of the cost of the tub surround - I actually have a great deal of personal experience with this sort of thing. I spent a year working for a building contractor during which time I was trained in every aspect of new home construction and both residential and commercial renovation. I've worked with virtually every sort of tradesman there is and I installed everything from footers to finish trim. My first home required extensive renovation, and in 2007 I gutted and replaced every component of the bathroom from the subfloor on up, including a window and tub surround. Even if I doubled all the costs and paid myself $100 an hour it wouldn't have come to more than about $3000. Newpro charged my dad almost $9000 - for a plastic tub surround. I have contractor friends that have told me that if they were to completely renovate the entire bathroom from the studs on out they wouldn't be able to make it that expensive. My recommendation would be to find a contractor here on Angie's List that would be willing to help you figure out what you need, or educate yourself about home renovation, or at least get a couple of different quotes, but don't use Newpro. Their work is okay, but they charge way, way too much.
Description of Work: Newpro contractors installed an acrylic plastic "Bathwrap" consisting of a 3-sided shower enclosure and plastic bathtub (apparently to replace the indestructible cast iron/enamel tub) in the home of my elderly father. The work itself was done well enough, however the price was so high that I think he was taken advantage of. Also, a vinyl siding job Newpro did was left unfinished for 4 years.

Response from NEWPRO
The owner of the company, Anthony Cogliani, spoke with both parties - son and father - In regards to the siding project done years prior, NEWPRO completed the project and after completion was informed a siding panel needed replacing. Prior to that the customer requested that he contact his electrician to update his electrical box since they were in close proximity. NEWPRO agreed and completed the replacement siding panel once notified that the electrical work was completed. NEWPRO fully stands behind their products and installation including warranties. It is not standard practice to leave a project unfinished. In this case NEWPRO was asked to delay replacing the panel until the customer could contract his own electrician to update his electrical meter. NEWPRO surveys every customer upon completion of a project. Once the bathroom was completed a favorable survey was received. NEWPRO's bath business is limited to the wet area only. NEWPRO does not offer complete bathroom remodels which would require new flooring, electrical and vanities. However, NEWPRO will install a customer's own supplied vanity and toilet if available on the day of bath surround install. Regarding the reference to the bathwrap material, NEWPRO Bathwraps are made of 100% American Made virgin acrylic. Any pricing quoted includes a full removal and disposal of the existing tub and surround, as well as updated plumbing, new valves and fixtures and/or accessories. All NEWPRO bathwrap installations come with a lifetime warranty, full transferrable. All pricing includes permits and the cost to have a licensed registered plumber to replace the valve and any drainwork required. Our pricing is very competitive to other bathliner systems in the industry. Just as [member name removed] is a repeat customer, much of NEWPRO's business is dependent on repeat business - up to 50% of our business is repeat and referral. NEWPRO always hopes to not only meet our customer's expectations but also exceed them.

The product hasn't met our expectations for the high price they charge. We didn't like the high pressure sales tactics. Installation didn't go smoothly. Ongoing problems with adhesive/caulking.
Description of Work: Installed a "custom fit" bath surround with tub liner.

The first presentation for replacement windows was given in a very professional manor. The representative was knowledgeable, and respectful. We were left with an acceptable estimate for high quality window replacements. She understood that we were interviewing contractors and were not interested in accepting a contract that day. The company did follow up with a second visit from the installation manager who inspected the work to be done and finalized the quote for the work to be done. We left it there and have not decided who to contract yet as we had more urgent repair work to be done. We like the product and the sales staff and recommend this company. We are happy with the price as quoted for the windows we chose.

I live in a small (1000 sq. ft.) cottage. I wanted 8 windows replaced. This wasn't new construction. The salesman and his "assistant" came in and gave at least a one hour spiel. At the end he gave me an estimate of $15000! That's right fifeteen-thousand dollars! For 8 windows!! I'm no expert but even i know $15000 is absurd. How could they possibly think i'd go for that!? I'm still shaking my head a week later.

They were excellent. They were thorough, they came back, they followed up and the service was good. We expected to get insulation on the side of the windows but we didn't asked about it so it's not their fault but we would like to have it. It wasn't done, we expected it to be done but we never asked about it so therefore it's an expectation but we didn't tell them so we don't know if they do it for the people or what.

The brackets originally installed with the windows (they're functional, not decorative) began to deteriorate. The company representative came out and looked at them and ultimately agreed to replace them. On the agreed upon date, they did. The important thing is that the company wants their customers to be satisfied with the product they've purchased. This is important.
Description of Work: This is a postscript to my earlier review of NewPro, at which point I gave them an "F". They were very responsive to my comments, came out and looked at the windows, and ultimately came back and replaced the defective brackets at no cost to me. At this point I would give them an "A" for professionalism and responsiveness. I think the moral to this story is: if you're not happy with the work or product you've paid for, let them know about it.
