Quote was very competitive. The installers were on time and the work performed was up to my expectations which can be high. Cleanup was thorough and overall I would recommend this contractor to anyone looking for someone looking to do a similar installation. I found the Heap organization to be positive & helpful at all points during the process.

The whole process work out excellent, I received the quote, I was amazed with the way their service went. The crew showed up and started removing the old driveway, leveled and prepared the area for the asphalt and then the asphalt arrived. They worked as a very professional team spreading the asphalt, the driveway didn't use all the asphalt so as an added bonus they paved a path to my backyard shed, the workers were very attentive to my surrounding landscape and did a dynamite job of cleaning up. I would recommended Driveways by Heap (their signs are the Black ones), and actually when neighbors saw Bob Heap in the area they approached him for future work.

We are very pleased with the work done, and would recommend them to any potential customer. They were prompt, courteous and completed the project exactly as we wanted.

Driveways by Heap is a great Company! We used Driveways by Heap to replace/repair our asphalt parking lot at The Abington Animal Hospital which was severely damaged. Genevieve was very prompt in coming out to give us an estimate, reviewed and priced all of our options, and was extremely professional throughout the entire process. The crew was professional and worked efficiently without taking shortcuts. We are very pleased with the results. I highly recommend Driveways by Heap and will use them again in the future for maintaining the seal on our driveway.

From the beginning my experience was top notch. Their estimate came out and answered all of my questions and concerns. She was very professional and knowledgeable. The paving crew arrived on time and even included the owner, who also was very kind and professional. They did my driveway quickly and left no mess behind. I was given a care and maintenance sheet by Genevieve after the job was finished and even received a call from her a few days later to see if we were satisfied. I am very happy with their services and would recommend them to everyone.

We called for an estimate and met with Genevieve, who was knowledgable and very professional, the following day. The scheduling worked out great for us as they had an opening the following week. The crew arrived right on time at 7:00 and was completed by 3:00pm. The driveway looks great. The work area was nicely cleaned up at the end of the job. We would definitely use the contractor again and would recommend them to friends.

Heap Driveways did a great job. Estimator was very professional and explained how and why they resurface driveways. They used top grade asphalt for the job. Arrived on time for the scheduled date which I was very pleased with. They graded the driveway and resurfaced and the final product looks great. They even followed up after to review the job and make sure I was happy. I would recommend them to anyone.

On October 7, 2015 Driveways by Heap arrived and commenced work removing old and replacing with new asphalt, and digging out the area for drainage. After the asphalt applied we were told that they did not want to drive a truck on the new surface to dump stone. General Manager Genevieve Coughlin assured us that the drain would be completed, also stating she would call the following Tuesday to tell us when the work would be finished, she also stated the reason it wasn't completed that day was because she didn't like the color of the stone that was available. Was that two different stories about the stone. Due to trust and the fact no money was required up front we paid the balance due in full. Tuesday October 13th came and no call from Heap, also on that day it rained and the slope and pitch of driveway worked as planned but the drain did not. Rain accumulated in the hole and puddled four feet into the driveway, Heap was called and a message was left about this problem. No call has come from Heap numerous messages and an email with pictures of this problem have gone unanswered. We have since had a heavier rain and the puddle was nine feet into the driveway. We are now approximately one month from the commencement of the work and the job is still incomplete and no response at all from Heap. With winter and frozen ground on the way apparently we need to find a contractor to finish this incomplete project. Being senior citizens on a fixed income this additional financial burden is not something we look forward too.

This was one of the least satisfying experiences I have ever had with a business. Their scheduler Genevieve called the night before the job to confirm that they would be at my home between 11 and 1 to complete my job. I thus took the day off and waited around for them. Nothing, nothing, nothing. I ended up calling them at 1:30p to try to ascertain the issue. I received a callback at 3:30p from their secretary stating that they had the aforementioned issue of a clutch going in one of their trucks and it was doubtful that they would be able to get to my place that day. I requested that they make every effort to do so as we are in desperate need to have our repairs made and I took the day off from work to be available. She assured me they would be back in contact whether or not they could. She said that if they were not able to come that same day then they could "Definitely get to you by the end of the week! Alas, nothing. No communication. This becomes an ongoing theme with their staff. I did receive 1 callback from the secretary on 2 days after the job no show where she stated that they were not sure when they would be able to come to our place to perform the job. I expressed my disappointment and expressed my anticipation that they would reschedule the job ASAP as we were obviously next in line to have our driveway done before their equipment broke down. From here on we never received a single call from either their scheduler or the owner in an attempt to make this right. We called 4-5 times and even stopped by their offices in an attempt to communicate in person since all their phone numbers just go straight to voicemail. The first office visit yielded a face to face with the secretary who expressed surprise that their scheduler never returned our calls. She stated that she had been forwarding all of our calls to the scheduler. She even looked at their schedule on the computer in an attempt to find our work order, but apparently they were all booked up with people other than us She assured us that she would get in contact with the scheduler again to have her contact us to reschedule. She relayed to us that if we did not hear back by the following Monday to call again and she would forward our concerns onto the owner. I bet you can guess the result: yet another round of zero communication. It has been 3 weeks since they cancelled our appointment. We have had to schedule with a competitor because of this. When we explained the reason for our going with this competitor, the competitor guessed that Heap was the company we were switching from without us saying their name. We would never recommend anyone go with Heap. They apparently spent all of their money making nice decorative signage for their job sites and zero money on business communication classes. **Update** I would like to respond to the comment from the business: I listed above the total number of phone calls from this company after the job was never done. I have accurately reflected the totality of the communication. It was sad to see that they would not call a customer back after myriad phone calls and even a face to face conversation at their office, which was 2 (!) weeks ago, but they can find the time to respond to complaints on Angie's List and the Better Business Bureau in under 24 hours. There are other asphalt repair companies out there. Find someone else who wants your business and is going to go the extra mile to earn it.

The service of Driveways by Heap was excellent. From the initial estimate through the completion was seamless. They responded promptly and arrived on the day and time they promised. A few weeks after the installation a motorcycle parked in the driveway and the kickstand put a hole in the driveway; they came back and repaired it immediately and did not charge extra. They were so good our neighbor down the street had their driveway done as well and I would refer them to anyone.

Work was going fine, until halfway through the job Heap gave some of the asphalt to a neighbor who had walked over and asked them to fix their driveway. So Heap did. When I complained and stated that I needed to use the asphalt to repair a hole in front of the driveway, I was told by the person in charge of the operation, Guinevere, that they could come back and repair the hole. After many calls and continued promises that they would come out they never showed. Whether they got paid for shifting the asphalt over to the neighbors I don't know, but I do know that many a promise was made and not followed through upon.

These folks were very easy to work with. I found their honesty in telling me the ground was too wet to install on the first day scheduled to be refreshing as it would have resulted in the asphalt shifting as the ground moved underneath. We experienced delays because it seemed to rain everyday for weeks. Finally when the weather broke they scheduled a day and without notice the town decided to put down a new street and asked them to leave but they took it gracefully and rescheduled for later in the week. When they did return to put down the driveway they were punctual, professional and worked quickly and efficiently. This is the third time my husband has worked with Heap as he has made arrangements to have both his mother and my mother's driveways done within the last year. All three experiences were pleasing and my mother has received may compliments on her driveway. I highly recommend their services.

The sawdust filling the Stump hole was hardly removed leaving an improperly prepared base for paving. The paving itself was satisfactory. The cracks were not cleaned out well prior to the crack fill. Some cracks and indentations were missed entirely. Upon sealing the entire driveway, there were again places which were missed. There was also significant overspray onto the 3/4 rose stone landscaping which was at an unacceptable level. It rained that night causing the low spots to fill up with water and the sealant to float on top and flow away. My wife called the issues to the Heap's representative's attention who came over to pickup the payment and agreed to make repairs which would be done by the end of the week. Heap's position was that we got what we paid for but they would bring over some rose stone and clean up the sealant job. It has been more than two months and nothing has been done. Despite several requests to Heap's office, the calls have not been returned.
