I had a tune-up scheduled for Saturday 10-2. They called Saturday at 9:40 AM to cancel and reschedule because they were too busy. Obviously they make more money on service calls than their loss leader tune up special. Pretty sure they were hoping our system would not work and we would need a more expensive service call. Don?t waste your time and money on their shenanigans

I would genuinely give negative stars if I could. This place dramatically over charged me for the top of the line Lennox system. Which has never worked. I have asked repeatedly for them to refund my money and rip it out of my house over the years (documented). But then again why would they when they could keep charging me to keep repairing and replacing parts every year or two even when it's under warranty. I have gone through 3 Compressors (need a fourth so they are telling me now and the replacement parts only have a year warranty). I am on my 3rd evaporator coil (they kept finding leaks they denied existed until they would inject dye into the lines, but only after charging for several system recharges needed for the leaks). They would charge me for cleaning the system which most of the time they wouldn't do leaving me to hose it off or buy cleaner from the store (after I paid for the service). They didn't install anything correctly and the indoor unit (air handler) would pool up

My furnace was blowing hot and cold air. First trip to the house was to diagnose the problem. New part (Flame sensor) was necessary. Second trip to the house for repair could not happen because technician brought part that was incompatible. Third trip to the house replaced the part, but system was still blowing hot and cold air. Fourth trip to the house was cleaning rust accumulation in tubing/pipes, which apparently solved the problem. Too many trips to the house. I can not help but wonder whether a bad flame sensor was the actual cause of the problem not, since replacing it alone did not solve the problem.

I purchased a mini split AC through Home Depot and they contracted ARS to install it. ARS used white line insulation over copper piping to connect the units. During a recent maintenance of this system by ARS their service staff member came out and told me that the line needs to be replaced from the outside unit to the inside unit and it would cost me $1500. He informed me that the white line insulation deteriorated causing the copper piping to become porous. As such the piping will not hold coolant. The also informed me that their is a class action lawsuit for the defective white line. I asked him who was responsible for the insulation and was told it was a third party and to just google it. I contacted both Mitsubishi and Home Depot who said that the line was provided by ARS and they will need to provide the information about it. ARS has not provided me the name of the manufacturer of the insulation nor the specifics about the line so that I can work on getting reimbursed for this defective material. Furthermore, after reading the manual provided with the mini split it appears that ARS did not follow the manufacturers installation instructions and tape/seal the ends of the line properly to prevent this issue in the first place. I am very upset with ARS for not following appropriate procedures and for not performing outreach about this issue and providing information about the source of the white line insulation. I have spoken with Home Depot about ARS's failure to follow procedures and their use of defective materials and recommended they consider an alternate installation company going forward. I would not recommend ARS's services.

They show up like they say they will.. Adressed the issues I was concerned and tested and replaced. Retested and stayed to make sure it works and explained to me how it works and made sure I am comfortable with what was repaired and serviced.

I would not recommend ARS. There service team is subpar and they don't backup their work. My unit is old but was running fine until I decided to give them a try. I now have a broken unit that requires quite an expense to fix. The service department manager was just an excuse maker who couldn't understand having an inexperienced tech work on my unit had nothing to do with the final outcome. I had to remind him that Training doesn't always equal competency

When called to check our aged boiler, David S. arrived that within hours. When a flow valve exploded in his hand (OUCH!), he calmly and stoically arranged for a new heating system to be installed the next day. Aaron and Nate were prompt and thoroughly professional. Aaron, in particular, took the time to answer questions and provided clear information for the new system's operation. We've always been pleased with ARSBoston's service for our A/C system; it is VERY comforting to know that they will be servicing this new gas boiler for years to come. The quick response and remedy provided by ARSBoston will never be forgotten; we are truly grateful!

My oil furnace stopped working on Saturday. Kyle from ARS came that same day and we had a new gas furnace on Tuesday (Monday wad a holiday). Grateful for the fast attention and getting me a new furnace before others could even provide quotes.
