Description of Work: Champion put a new picture window in into my parent's (both deceased) house that I was going to sell. The installers took their time and paid attention to detail. The window was beautiful. Although I paid more than I could with other window companies that I've seen advertised, it proved to be a wise choice.

Description of Work: REPRESENTATIVE CAME ON TIME. HE GAVE US A GOOD ESTIMATE OF THE COST OF THE JOB. HE SAID HE WOULD HAVE SOMEONE COME TO ACTUALLY SIZE UP THE PROJECT. HE ALSO CAME IN A TIMELY MANNER, DID HIS THING, LEFT AND TOLD US THAT THE WINDOW WOULD BE READY ON A CERTAIN DATE, AS IT HAD TO BE BUILT AT THE FACTORY. THE COMPANY CALLED WHEN IT WAS BUILT SET UP A DATE FOR INSTALLING. THE DATE CAME, HE CALLED FOR A APPROPRATE TIME AND SHOWED UP ON TIME, WENT RIGHT TO WORK, DID AN EXCELLENT JOB, LEFT WITH SMILES ALL AROUND. WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THE ENTIRE AFFAIR. \ SEE ABOVE - ALL THE DETAILS OF THE JOB ARE THERE.. THERE ARE NO MORE DETAILS OTHER THAN ABOVE....PERIOD.

Description of Work: We had a large front window replaced. The salesman spent several visits evaluating our needs and making the sale, and was very professional in his approach to what was needed. Once the order was placed, there was a significant wait time for the window to be made to order for the size and then once ordered the installation happened, and I must say the installers worked efficiently and with little mess to the interior of the house. However, soon after they left parts of the siding under the window came off and a service call had to be made. There was a fairly lengthy wait time and I did call to say the problem was going to get worse if someone didn't come to fix it, so after a while someone came. A few weeks later, it was finally warm enough to open the window and it immediately became obvious that one of the sections was bowed so it wouldn't close correctly, so another service call was placed, and after a long delay someone came to look at it, decided it was a manufacturing flaw and ordered a new section of window. Approximately six weeks later there was a call that it had come in and that we should set up a repair visit (for 8 weeks from that date which was ridiculous in my opinion and I said something about it. Then they changed that date to one that was only four weeks away which I still think was absurd given they are less than an hour away. Anyway, by then another one of the panels was also not closing correctly and seemed to be doing the same thing, so when they finally did come to install the new piece, I pointed out the new problem. The solution was to take off one of the clips that draws the window closed and makes a tight seal (and they didn't put this same clip on the new piece, so now I have two windows that don't quite close as tightly as the manufacturer intended-likewise the handles come off which had been a problem in the old window that had been there and was part of why we spent so much money to replace it. Frankly, I have my doubts that the new window will ever survive 40 years like the old one had, and I am very disappointed in both the product which was very expensive and the service which involves long delays and unsatisfactory performance. We were slated to do other window replacement with the company, and I have been hesitant to even call them back about this one because of the hassles with delay and then them taking things apart to "make them work" rather than to actually make the job right!

Description of Work: Kevin replaced the door panel in a 10 year old patio room that had developed a seal failure between the glass layers. He arrived early, did everything quickly and asked if there was anything else he could do. This company backs their product which has been one of the best investments I have made in my home.

Description of Work: I had 2 large windows and sliding door replaced in my porch. One of the windows required a frame to be built out in order to get another window in. They wrapped (with siding) the other windows around my house (7) too. Originally they were only going to wrap the sills but when the manager came out to check the job before they began he explained that it would be difficult to only wrap the sills so he agreed to wrap around the entire window at no extra charge!!!! I am extremely satisfied with the result and would definitely recommend this company, and my salesman Steven Tessier, to anyone! Also, the work was completed in one day and all debris was cleaned up.
