Description of Work: I had a problem with my "Freedom" gas boiler. They came to my house within few days. Service tech (Brian) & his assistant were very pleasant. They assessed the problems, fixed one problem and had to order parts for the other problem. Parts came in within a week & they came back to finish the repairs. I liked this company (Sila Heating) because they have 24 hr emergency service. I also purchased a service contract for 1 year so they can maintain my boiler system. I was very pleased with the service I received.

Description of Work: I bought a big deal to have furnace serviced. Was talked into doing a water heater flush (I blame myself for that one) which doubled my bill. Not sure what I gained other than the fact that both furnace and water heater are older and time to consider replacing, which I already knew. The technician was fine and was prompt although the office had to call and bump me back to a later window. Would probably use again

Our technicians our trained not to work on any systems that are old and need to be replaced because if we try to repair a system which we know is not repairable and then we leave it will put us in a bad position. Ultimately the system will stop working again shortly after our visit. Working on a very old system can also put our technicians in an unsafe environment. It is our due diligence to do what is best for the customer as well as the heating system and in your case the heating system would have not worked for very long no matter what our technician did to it. I am glad we were able to get a project manager out to your home shortly after our technicians visit to provide you with a price for replacement to avoid any emergency situations during the cold winter months we had. Description of Work: Did very little original contracted work for $89 which is to check the unit but did upsell a critical requirement for the drainage of the HVAC for $250. Market charges for the same at $125 only complaint. But otherwise very good
