Description of Work: They did the job but they cancelled on me twice. Both times they were supposed to come at 7AM and I took days off of work for their appointment. Then they cancelled the day before once at 5PM and another at 6 PM. The Angie's List The big deal was about to expire by the time someone was about to come over. Purchased in 10/2013 and work was done 5/2014. On the big deal it said to give them a range of dates to do the job but I got an email that stated they don't schedule like that. Then why list it that way on the Angie's list The Big Deal.

Description of Work: Serviced the heating system and performed CO2 tests.

Description of Work: The company sent a representative to our home and gave an estimate on the installation cost of a classic central AC and also a mini-duct system. The representative was knowledgeable and punctual and gave great advice about the plan. We chose not to go in that direction, but felt that overall the company was worth discussing future jobs with.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for a water heater flush and toilet tune-up. Everything went pretty well until the next morning when I discovered a big puddle in my basement around my water heater. | |Despite this setback, Sila handled the situation professionally. They sent someone out to my house to fix the problem. Turns out it was a simple one, the valve wasn't fully tightened. They refunded my money and left me satisfied. I am always happy to do business with Sila, and this was my first (and only) problem I've had.

Description of Work: Check air conditioning unit, replace filter.

Description of Work: The Sila Tech checked our AC unit, turned it on, and made sure everything was working properly. He was courteous and professional and wore covers over his boots when he was in the house. He offered to put in a drain catch on the AC unit that we could clean out with a brush. We had issues at our old place with the drain clogging so we decided to put it in. I think it was a good idea overall, but it was an off the cuff decision and it seemed a bit overpriced for what it was (thus the B on price). I didn't have a chance to do a price comparison so maybe that is the going rate. In any case, we were happy with the service overall.

Description of Work: I used a discounted special price for a furnace tuneup and was pleased with the service. However, I did not use them for an emergency I had over a weekend because they were far more expensive than others.

Description of Work: I thought I had purchased a toilet tune up and water tank flush. I was told that the package wasn't really designed for the toilet tune-up and that was added in as part of this deal. In any event, on site I was told they would only look at one toilet and that the toilet was too old to be serviced. I was also told hot the water tank had too many issues to be flushed. All in all, the gentleman was very knowledgeable and his time was appreciated but the only service I actually received was a list of things that I could pay for and this company could come back and do for me.

Description of Work: Great company with a very competent workforce. This is the second year in a row I have used them and expect to continue doing the same every year.

Description of Work: Tune up of two air conditioner condenser units. Diagnosed and replaced a defective circuit board in one of the units.

Description of Work: I applied for the deal for A/C spring checkup for $89. Then I also took the hot water heater flush for $38. My hot water heater's anodes were all rusted out so they replaced them for $664. The technician seemed professional and knowledgeable.
