Description of Work: switching out electrical outlets: there was difficulty scheduling the appt - one visit they called to say they would show up at 5:30PM for a 1-4PM window and then there was miscommunication on scheduling the next appointment, but finally once they showed up on the 3rd scheduled date/time the work was done professionally and it went well. the worker went out of his way to maximize his useful time during a prescheduled 2 hour time block.

Description of Work: We bought 2 hours of an electrician. Two men showed up so they said it would be 1 hour for the 2 of them. Fine, except only 1 of them did anything while the other spent the whole hour trying to sell us additional work. Not what we had expected. We had a number of small electrical projects some of which were completed and some of which they said they did not know how to do. All-in-all, not a great experience and I doubt we would call them again

Description of Work: Jim Lynch, the electrician, came exactly on time. He replaced several 2-prong outlets with 3-prong grounded outlets. installed a new 3-prong outlet (with yards of new wiring), replaced defective dimmer switch with a modern one. Jim was very pleasant, very efficient (got a lot done), helpful in suggesting what might be done. A joy to work with. Sole "complaint": his 7am call (too early for me) from noisy truck to confirm the 10:30 appt. Otherwise terrific. |

Description of Work: The electrician was very nice and did nice work. |The only issue I had was the company was VERY expensive if they went over the 2 hours. |He quoted almost $200 per hour. He finished my job in about 1 3/4 hours.
