Description of Work: They replaced our boiler quickly. The price was reasonable and the workers did a great job

Description of Work: I purchased a $99 for two hours of electrical work deal. They scheduled an appointment right away, which was the best part of the service. I wanted them to install a new outlet on my basement stairs so we can plug in a handheld vacuum. They guy who came complained about his job the whole time he was at my house, telling me that he is over-qualified for this kind of work. He informed me that although the deal says two hours, "they" really want him to leave as soon as possible. He installed a new outlet, but hacked my wall up in the meantime so there is damage visible. He informed me I could buy an extra large plate at home depot that would cover it up. I have looked, and there is no plate for a single outlet that is large enough to cover up the damage he did to the wall. I was also charged $25 for parts, which makes sense, but considering he was recommending that I buy another plate to cover up the damage he did, I was a little put off by it. I can plug my vacuum in now, but I would never hire Sila again.

Description of Work: Gas furnace inspection and cleaning. Sila was on time and did a great job. This is the 2nd time we've used them via an Angie's list deal and we would call them if we needed services. Great job.

Description of Work: Sila installed a exterior motion activated light and repaired an interior switch. The work was done to a very high level of quality and the electrician was professional and friendly. I would hire them again anytime! SErvice was well outside the promised time window with no contact from the company. I needed to call to find out what was up. Other than that all was perfect.

Description of Work: The service was great. The technician explained what he was doing, what to look out for, ect. Excellent service provided by the technician. But I was disappointed with the office when I realized that I paid twice. I assume the work order may have not had information that I purchased an Angies List coupon, and it also didn't help that I had forgotten that I needed to give the technician the coupon when he arrived. I never received a reminder phone call the day before, as they told me was going to happen, and they sort of gave me a "run around" about refunding me what I paid the technician with my credit card. The man explained that I would have to go through Angie's list for my refund, and if I had any issues just call him back and he will take care of it. The problem I had is that Angie's List only provide credit towards another service. After at least three different attempts in communicating with the man who was dealing with our work order about Angie's list not giving me a refund, I could never get a hold of him. (left messages,and he never got back to us) I asked for the manager, with no success. Then once I explained my situation to another employee he was able to credit me on the spot. I want to make sure that it is known that I felt that this was unnecessary. I am assuming that they may have lost out on a little bit of money by having to refund me the money I paid them (compared to allowing Angie's list to refund me.I could be wrong, but I can only assume). |

Description of Work: Inspected and tuned up heating system for the winter. Advised on future maintenance issues so I can budget for them. Technician was Joshua. Very knowledgeable and honest. A winning combination in the service industry.
