Came on time, was super polite {every person I talked to] cleaned up well after the job. They were so good we bough the plan again this year and they already cleaned and replaced parts for free! Great company.

I called last week before I purchased the deal to find if they serviced my area. The girl who answered didn't seem very well informed. She had to ask around before telling me they did service my area. I purchased the deal and set up my appointment for Thursday. They called me on Monday to let me know that they did not service my area and so could not complete the deal. They had left me a voicemail on Monday so they called me back again the next day to let me know they would not be coming out. They were apologetic about it. They had good reviews on Angie's List so I would use them if they were to service my area. I called Angie's List to get a refund on the deal.

Very satisfied with the entire experience. Got me moneys worth. Wouldn't hesitate to have them come in again.

Initially I was just having a tune up done on my heat pump as Sila was advertising on Angie's list. I had noticed my HVAC was making a rattling noise that seemed to be getting worse. During the inspection it turned out the shaft and the fan blade were warped which was causing the noise. The tech explained this and took a video with his phone to show me exactly what the problem was since it was hard to see any other way. I have a non standard heat pump, and it took a week to order the replacement parts due to the suppliers being closed for New Years, but everything is working great now and their were no unexpected expenses from the original quote given after the heat pump inspection. The price seemed a bit high, but I have no idea how much the replacement parts cost, and to have the problem taken care of quickly and professionally seemed worth it. They were always on time - and worked with me to get my appliance insurance company's outside authorization taken care of. I am happy with the work done, and how professional they were in resolving my HVAC issue. I will definitely use this vendor again!

Highly recommend this vendor. The did the original server back in Mar 12. And I also purchased the same service, to be performed next week. Back in March, they came in on time and did the work and checkup quick and provide detail report. And event we didn't have a service contract with them, on a recent incident, where the furnance becoming so lond and shutdown itself, we call they emergency number and they are kind enough to answer my wife's call and patiently provide instruction how to reset the system. I am not considering just sign up a service contract with them to maintain our HVAC. Highly recommended! jeremy

The AC cover took a long time to arrive, but they were always very nice on the phone. They seem to be very professional and they follow up with you if you have a problem.

They came in and were very thorough and explained what they were doing and answered a lot of questions we had. They also ended up giving us a very fair estimate on three or four other jobs. We haven't hired them for those other jobs, but we would consider having them do it. I thought they were very professional.

Excellent customer service. I wanted a humidifier put on the heating system in the attic, and Sila checked it out but explained the downside to having it including potential freezing of the pipes. I appreciated their knowledge and not selling me something that would not really be practical

I have a 2 family home which is 3 floors then the basement. All the boilers are in the basement. I live on the first floor, then my tenant lives on the second and third floor. One of the radiators on the third floor wasn't getting hot at all, not even the piping to the unit. My husband is somewhat handy so he tried doing the work himself however he couldn't fix it. So we called Sila, they were able to get out the next morning. Peter was very puntual and very professional. He even put on those clothes coverings over his shoes so he didn't mark up my hardwood floors. After going from the basement to the third floor a few times, Peter figured out what it was. Fortunately it wasn't a extensive repair (well not yet anyway) and fixed it in 40 minutes or so.

Furnace/boiler service was professional and, when the job was complete, he reviewed for us the work he had done. We were impressed and asked about central air conditioning. Steve visited us in December, explained the work involved installing their central air conditioning system in our home now heated by forced hot water (no duct work in place). His presentation was excellent, the price in the mid to high range, but when we checked references in town all were very pleased and one said, "Having them install their central air system was one of the best decisions we ever made."

I contacted Sila the end of December and was given an appointment for 1-7-13 as this really was not an emergency. I have been having a problem with my heat not working as effeciently as it should. Craig and Bobby showed up 15 minutes early and began working immediately. They asked about the problem that I was having etc. I had indicated that I had my compressor replaced in the summer (by another Angie's List vendor) and they went to check it out. Within the first 10 minutes they determined that the compressor was not replaced correctly and that was creating my heating problem. They replaced a part that should have been replaced in the summer and gave me a detailed listing of the changes that needed to be made. The heat was back up and running within 35 minutes of their visit. They took the time to try to educate me as to what the problem was and the steps that I needed to take to correct it. They were very patient with me and their work was clean and efficient. I wished that I has used Sila when I had problems last summer. I will use them again!!!!

They were wonderful. They came on time and did a fabulous job. They are wonderful people and I would definitely use them again.

They came out as part of a promotion to inspect the air conditioning system. They did a thorough job and recommended a blanket for the external part of the unit. They came back and installed the blanket as promised. I was entirely satisfied.

All went well. Sila installed our air conditioning system several years ago, has been servicing that annually, and also serviced our boiler last year. I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and was able to schedule the service within about 10 days. Two technicians arrived on time (one of them had been here last year - he seemed to be the more experienced & did all the talking, the other didn't say much). I explained some concern I had about the water heater venting properly and they said they would check it out. They explained everything what they were going to do and answered all the questions I had thoroughly. They seemed to be very knowledgeable about what they were doing and we've had no trouble with the boiler in the 1 1/2 heating seasons since they've been servicing the boiler.

They were prompt and candid about the state of our air conditioning unit. It's an older unit, and the gentleman stated that if anything goes on the unit - not to bother trying to fix it as the system is too old and too small for the home (which makes sense because you have to run it constantly, luckily in Boston you don't need it that much).

The entire experience went off without any problems. They inspected the heating system; recommended a part be replaced and completed the cleaning and inspection in less than an hour.

Excellent! Craig was professional yet friendly. He took his time, was careful and detailed. I will need a new furnace which is something I cannot afford right now, but when I am able, you can be sure I will have Sila do it.

Arrived on time, completed work quickly. No problems. This was a special deal from Angie's List. Other estimates I got for this work started out about 3 to 4 times higher. This did not take much time, perhaps a half hour to hour at the most. Would not have wanted to pay more.

Sila did an excellent job and were able to promptly schedule the installation. The project manager was very responsive and communicated well via email, which is what I prefer, and always answered my questions in a timely fashion. I would definitely use Sila again and recommend them to anyone.
