Dealt with Michael. Our attic Hvac would not pump out cold enough air. The technician was very knowledgeable. Made some recommendations and filled it with Freon. He’s also sealed some leaked. He was prompt and courteous. I would hire them again.

Everything was good. I have no complain. They are very reliable. They do a good job.

I suppose for the price it was fair, but I expected a more thorough inspection. I had purchased a coupon last year from another company and they did a much more comprehensive job for only $15 more.

After rescheduling, the plumber arrived promptly and did a very good job of fixing the valve, which was not permitting cold water to be transmitted. The one concern was the high price, or about $630 for a bit less than 4 hours work, which seemed a bit on the expensive side. This included the cost of a new handle.

He diagnosed the problem and fixed it as soon as he got the part .. he was professional, punctual, friendly. I would highly recommend this company!

Great. He found the problem very quickly and I didn't have to pay more than the diagnostic cost. It turned out someone had turned off the AC from the switch on the outside of the house as a prank! I had no idea this happens (or even that there is a switch outside the house) but apparently this is common. The technician showed me how to turn it on again if it happens in the future and advised that many people get a padlock for their control box to avoid the problem. I was impressed by his professionalism in telling me how to avoid the issue on my own in the future. Someone less scrupulous could have pretended it was something complicated and hoped it would keep happening and I'd keep calling back for service.

Service was prompt and professional. Tech Guy Cilluffo was friendly, knowledgeable and was able to repair the problem quickly by replacing the voltage regulator. Cost for this particular repair seemed a bit high, but was probably in line with what other large providers would charge. Would definitely consider them again for service in the future.

On July 4th I realized my ac unit in the house had a substantial leak. I called Silas. They were upfront about costs on the holiday versus the following day. I chose to go with an appointment on the following day & was given a time frame of 9-12. 8:30 the next day I got a call that the repair tech would be arriving at 9 am. Ivan arrived & was professional, knowledgeable & efficient! He cleaned the ac drain & replaced the filter in record time. The price was reasonable. Now I have my ac back, which is key in a high 90’s heatwave! I’d definitely hire Silas again. Thanks!

I just had Sila come to do an annual service on my AC, both because it needed it and I was noticing some compressor start up issues occassionally. Sila scheduled an appointment within a day of my call, which is great considering is was the day before the 4th of July. The tech was excellent. He did a very thorough service, including removing the the cover of the internal coils to assess their state, and reviewing the state of my external coils on the condensor, as well as a wide variety of pressure and electric tests. I've had a lot of annual HVAC checks over the past 17 years. Sila was up there with the best. I had an angies list discount for the service, so that part was quite reasonably priced. He recommended, correctly, that I needed a hard start kit for the compressor. That fixed the issue with the compressor's start ups being dodgey. The one negative I'd say is that the price for the hard start kit and install seemed quite high. I believe the kit costs less than $50, and it took about 20 mins to install it, but the bill for that repair was over $300. He also pointed out that, at 17 years, the system was getting into "may break" territory. This motivated me to set up an inspection by MassSaves to see if I could get a rebate for early replacement. We shall see. Furnacies can last between 15-25 years, but AC tends to have a life expectancy of around 15ish years, according to consumer reports. Since I have twin boys about to start college in a year, I'd prefer to head off any big expense that could hit during that time :) Also be aware that, if you need a new system, Sila predominately deals with Lennox. That can be fine if you are sure that is what you want, but something to be aware of if you are looking for a new system. Given the professinalisim of the service, I'd have high confidence in them installing any new systems in a professional, and by the book manner, which is very important for load balancing, air flow, etc.

Previous customer, Sila does a fine job. they probably aren't the cheapest provider out there but they do the work that is required.

They were nice, on time and honest. They explained everything and I am very happy with their service.

We are totally impressed with Sila! My father is a retired electrician (in FL) and my uncle is a retired plumber for the Town of Weymouth, so knowing how the trades work, we kind of knew what we might be getting into. Sila's crew blew us way! Prompt, polite, knowledgeable, professional and more than willing to discuss and explain what was going on and answer any of our questions. They treated our home as if it were theirs. We were both amazed with the crews’ work ethic, even cleaning up as they went! We would highly recommend Sila for any type of project that people have! We’re very pleased with the service and the appliances they installed!

Tech arrived, looked at the outdoor unit and declared it was too old to be serviced and that he was afraid to touch it. Never mind that a) they sell these units (and therefore should be able to service them) and b) the unit was working fine. So, I called PANN who came promptly, cleaned the unit, tested it, changed the filter and confirmed it was fine.

These guys are the best. We use them for both our AC and our furnace and they do a great job every time. They offer fair prices and are professional.

The plumber Gary was very professional. He outlined various options and clearly explained them to me. His truck was well-stocked and was able to finish the job within a reasonable time frame.

Service was great, quick and to the point.

Everything went extremely smooth. The tech was prompt, courteous and helpful. I will absolutely call next year for a tune-up ahead of the season. I have not had a pleasant experience with any HVAC companies in the past. This restores my faith in the HVAC industry.

We have signed a contract with Sila for regular check up and tune up of our heating and air conditioning system. As their service was excellent, and they were able to fix some problems on our heater that I didn't even know about, and now their was a big difference on my heater service.

I have been using Sila for a few years to service my A/C and heating units. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are consistently prompt, professional, at the right price, and always get the job done at a very high quality. Our most recent visit was from John. John was the most courteous, patient, and knowledgeable technician I've had at the house in a long time. I highly recommend Sila, and if you are lucky enough to have John as the pro on your job you are in great hands!!

I must say there are not many companies around today that stand behind there Products and Services the way Sila Heating and Air Conditioning does. I highly recommend working with this excellent company I purchased my High Velocity Air conditioning system from Sila in 2014 they did the installation and the technicians were very knowledgeable and polite when they entered my home the put covers over there shoes and cleaned up, so you would never know they where there. Initially the Systems was not working properly and they came back twice to correct it. They determined that they had sized the unit wrong 3 Ton was not enough - so they replaced the unit with a 3.5 Ton NO CHARGE. Yesterday I noticed that it was not cooling properly - I called to schedule an appointment and they came 07:00 AM today. The Service Technician were once again very knowledgeable and polite and covered their shoes. They discovered that there was a leak - they corrected the problem replaced a part and recharged the system with refrigerant. This process took some time and the bill was a bit pricey. The technician did discount the bill as much as he could and was concerned about my satisfaction. I called the office to discuss the bill because I felt that a system 4 years old should not leak. To make sure I was happy the office Manager Jonathan enrolled me in a 2 year services agreement - NO CHARGE that covers an annual maintenance call and 100% coverage on parts and labor if something needs to be repaired. A value of $814 SILA goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is Happy! Best Company I have ever done business with hands down!!!!
