Tech was very professional and gave an honest evaluation and advice on the condidion and recomendation of service for it.

They provide good service, reliable and punctual.

The technician was running late, but he did a great job when he was at our home, did not rush through, he was very thorough and gave us three differenct avenues to go in the future for updating our system. We are switching to Sila for all our heating and air conditioning needs.

He cleaned and gave me report on what repairs or improvements can be made to make even more efficient.

Work was done very well and quickly. Advised the boiler is old but in good condition, but some parts may ned to be changed soon.

Bob showed up on time for what we thought would be a review of our small 1400 sq foot cape and then email us a proposal/estimate of what size/unit high velocity AC we would need. Instead we got a 2 hour sales pitch and then were told this is how much it would be prices were already set, there was no need for consult. If this is the case why not just tell us online when we make the appointment? We felt more like he was trying to "sell" us the product as opposed to trying to figure out our wants and needs.

I made an appointment.with Sila on Monday. They didn't have any openings until Friday because it's summertime and everyone has AC problems around now, but since my schedule was open they said they would call if any last minute openings popped up. True to their word, the next day (Tuesday) they called with some last minute openings for that day, and we worked out a time. Next day turnaround in the summertime for AC issues: already a good start! One of their technicians (Pete) showed up right on time. I explained the problem to him, which was a tricky issue with my central AC's roof unit flipping its breaker despite not drawing sufficient amperage to warrant that. In the past, a different HVAC company had already made about 6 visits to me and replaced just about every part in the AC short of the compressor itself, as well as having me get an electrician to completely replace the breaker box and breaker. When the problems persisted, this other company quit on me and said they couldn't do anything else for me, couldn't recommend anyone more advanced to help, and as an apology refunded one of the last quick appointments (leaving me with all the other charges though!). . In comparison, Sila's technician Pete spent about an hour testing the roof unit and air distributor, before hitting on the exact (somewhat complicated) nature of problem occurring. . He switched some wires, explained the importance of replacing my roof unit and hot water heater soon (both are somewhat old units), and my AC has been running 100% smoothly since! He figured out in an hour what that other company couldn't in 6-7 visits/ $1000+ in charges. Because of that, I can't recommend this company enough. There's probably plenty of companies / technicians who can show up somewhere prepared to deal with the basic set of most-common problems/solutions. But Sila's technician really understood how these systems work together and was able to identify more subtle problems/solutions. That's why I think these guys are a cut above, and plan to call them for any future AC woes.

AC unit didn't turn on in the heat wave over the weekend. As it wasn't an emergency, I waited until Monday to call and arranged\ an appointment. Setting the time was pretty easy and a two hour window was provided. The office staff was courteous and helpful, answering questions about costs, with no hesitation. On the day of the appointment, the company called me to say that someone would arrive in about 15 minutes, but with traffic it took a bit longer, but still well within the two hour window. The technician was courteous and efficient. He isolated the problem right away - a stuck relay - fixed the problem and tested the system a couple of times. He also showed me how to check this switch on my own and fix it, advising me that if the switch were to get stuck again, it might be worth replacing. The visit took about 45 minutes. I was very pleased with the service.

They came out twice, blew me off once and never gave me the quote...Waste of time.

The experience was fine. I wasn't home when they came, I guess that they were fine. They were nice, professional, pleasant,on time, and thorough.

I was contacted promptly after purchasing the an Angie's List deal for A/C Turn-on, Tune-up & Inspection. It was suggested I schedule the appointment before the season started. Just before the appointment, the company called to reschedule. Due to scheduling issues, it was rescheduled for one month later. The day prior to the rescheduled appointment, the called to reschedule a second time. I was able to keep the appointment on the same day at 7am. The tech that came to the house was prompt and courteous. He completed the job in a timely manner and satisfactory manner.

From initial visit and estimate through the long day of work, it went great. very professional, very clean when finished. They gave us lots of advice about related issues and possible future plans for upgrading the system.

It went well. Provider identifed a problem with AC and resolved it promptly. Also got quotes for additional work which were too high for us to consider.

They did the work as requested. They did a good job and were on time. I asked if they would clean the area after performing the work and they refused and said the deal did not cover this. They did do a good job and this issue was minor.

Nick at Sila is brilliant, constructive and totally professional. The installers arrived exactly as scheduled, worked hard in spite of the inclement weather. Nick was absolutely right in his recommendation. We used the heat on cold but mild winter days instead of our gas heat and today (5/31/13, 93 degrees) is the first time we turned on the A/C. It cools and dehumidifies almost immediately! In fact, since we have a very high water table and humid house, the fast, economical dehumidifier is one of our favorite features of the system. If I were ever to install A/C again I would call Nick without getting another estimate-so superior is his knowledge and professionalism.

With the first hot week of the year arriving I fired up the AC. After the first night we found one of the units was not working. I called Sila at 7:30a. They answered the phone immediately. Very professional and helpful. They had a repairman (Craig B) at my house by 9:30a and he had us back up and running by 11a. I was impressed with Craig's knowledge and professionalism. He was familiar with these new web-enabled Nest thermostats that we have and talked about issues he had seen with them. Our problem was caused by a couple of different issued and Craig was able to quickly diagnose and repair both. Just an excellent overall experience.

Whole procedure went very well. When I used it in 2010 it was called Unique Heating and AC but has since, I believe, become part of Sila, so this review, strictly speaking, is about Unique, and not Sila. Repairman was punctual, knowledgable. Did not try to push unwanted services, equipment on me. In fact I thought I would have to replace the unit at a cost of nearly $4000 according to estimates I got. He proposed making a thorough inspection of the equipment and seeing if it needed a coolant replacement (which it did). As it turned out I paid exactly $379 for the work and the unit has worked perfectly since then, kicking in, as a matter of fact, today, the first day of what's supposed to be our first heat wave. I would recommend Sila to anyone, if they have folded the people who worked for Unique into their company. I looked up a few other reviews of Sila and noticed a strange pattern; no one was luke warm about them; in the 5 or 6 reviews I read customers either loved them or thought they were terrible, Put me in the love column.

I highly recommend this company. They are true professionals. I'm going to sign up for their emergency service plan because I'm confident they'll be ready to help if needed.

Technician was great- very good job. Scheduling the service was horrible. Took a Friday off of work and when no one showed up I called to find out that the scheduler had put in the wrong date and so then I had to take more time off of work. In the future I'll go with a company closer to home.

I would definitely recommend Sila to friends and family. They called prior to the appointment, to confirm I was going to be home. They showed up on time, and the service mechanic did the work quickly and cleanly, answered all my questions about my HVAC system, and was very knowledgeable.

Brian from Sila showed up on time and certainly knew his business and recommended a few things to me. The company honored a special on Angie's list even after the offer was over. I live in Manchester NH and they did not advertise for my area, but they took my business anyhow and honored the special price of $89.This company has its act together and Brian did a good job as a spokesmen for the company.

Called the office to set up an estimate to repair my AC system. I am aware that I need to replace a compressor unit. Woman took my address info and then quoted a price of $14,000 to $16,000 to replace the entire system. I verified the price two more times to make sure I heard correctly. I was taken aback to say the least. No introduction, no salesman, no tech inspection, no onsite evaluation of my system just a 5 min call and a price. The Representative didn't even give me her name. I barely could hear her as well. This is disheartening considering the excellent ratings for the company. I don't think I will be using them.

The service technician did a comprehensive check of the outside unit as well as the inside unit. He cleaned the coils and leveled the outside unit. He fixed the crimping in the inside tubes. He was very professional even going as far as putting covers on his boots so that he would not track dirt on the floors. He made good recommendations regarding what to watch out for in the future.
