In addition they changed the water pump, installed a heat pad for the humidifier and installed a new furnace filter. They did a nice job. I was impressed by their professionalism and thoroughness. They identified a problem that needs to be watched. The work was excellent but they rescheduled twice before coming today.

It turned out fine. This is the second time we have used them. They are very thorough and their cost is reasonable. We had to replace some parts. Their technicians are very knowledgeable and nice. The dog doesn’t eat them when they are here. I would recommend them to others.

I signed up for the Angie's list Hot Water Heater inspection and toilet tune up special for $59.00. I had an energy assessment done earlier in the year and was told that the carbon monoxide level coming from my hot water heater was high and that I should have it looked at. Brian came by at 7:00 Friday morning and went straight to work. He quickly discovered that the carbon output was 5x higher than it should be and explained that we had a very dangerous and unhealthy situation that needed immediate attention. He also noted that some of the piping was done in an unprofessional manner and sloped in a couple of spots where it shouldn't have. He also asked if we wanted to upgrade to a 40 gallon tank from a 30 gallon tank. I had no doubt that Brian was a very experienced and knowledgeable technician. He clearly knew what he was doing and I never once doubted he would do a nice job. My only concern is the quality of the hot water heater - he installed an AO Smith and some of the consumer reports for this brand were not good. Fingers crossed I got a good one. I usually compare prices before I purchase anything and I'm not sure I got the best possible price. Jake from the office assured me SILA prices are comparable to their competitors.

They seem to have done a good job with the tune ups, however there was an issue with the description of the deal. I was under the impression that the deal could be applied to multiple units, but the company stated there there was a limit of one coupon per unit. There was no mention of this in the deal's fine print, and the technician advised that I call the company to inquire further. Additionally, I found it unprofessional when he maligned the company that I am currently using to provide my furnace's heating oil and then tried to sell me on purchasing a gas furnace from his company.

They did an incredible job. They got me rebates for the parts that needed replaced.

The plumber who came was on time and extremely friendly. He took care of all of the details and made this very easy for me. I really appreciated how good the service was.

I had three boilers that hadn't been looked for a while. The came in took the burners apart, cleaned things out and checked a number of other important parts around the boiler. I had used Sila once before and was once again very impressed with their knowledge and thorough work. Everything seemed very skillfully done and all the details of the boilers attended to. One boiler they found required a new circulating pump and pressure meter which I knew was broken and a bleeder relief valve replacement. They later gave me a quote for the work which seemed a bit high. I'm a bit on the cheap side and chose to have a plumber I work with regularly do the repairs recommended. The Sila technicians are totally professional, seem very honest and are committed to doing their work thoroughly in a detailed professional way. I would hire them again anytime I needed them.

Delayed arrival 1+ hours outside of window, which was a little annoying, but they called twice to let me know they were running late. Seemed honest and competent. Decided to use them for upgrading our entire system (gas-powered boiler & hot water heater) with high-energy efficient system, in order to take advantage of rebates and tax incentives now in place. More on that experience when it's done.

2 workers came. they were prompt, professional, organized and efficient. I would definitely use them again.

The only reason we didn't use Sila was because we found a local provider who significantly beat their price. The Sila representative showed up on time and timely provided a quote.

Responsiveness and professionalism by the receptionist was grade A. However, receptionist did not have technical experience, so he had spoken with a technician while I was on hold and then translated the best he could why they would not do the work. They must have a lot of work if they are willing to turn down anything but whole HVAC system installations/replacements.

The inspection was good, not much to do on a gas furnace. However, the tech. told me that I might need a new boiler and tried to sell me one. I had my local plumber in after the tune up and he said that my furnace would last for many years.

The work went well, but we did not use them for any further work. A second company did find something they missed, but it was a good deal and we were overall happy with this company.

In our rental property, the $89 seasonal maintenance + a small part replacement for a 10 year old bolt were sufficient. Sila's predecessor, Unique Indoor Comfort, had done the original install and the AC was in good shape. The AC in our newly purchased home was another matter. We knew that it needed more work and expected that the $89 Big Deal would not cover it. The Sila technician found the same problems that were diagnosed by our home inspector, ordered the required parts and made an appointment to return in several days. Everything was done quickly and well. No problems scheduling either the initial work or the follow-up appointment.

All fixed and as good as before.

I felt the workmanship was a little sloppy. If he took a little more time, he could have drilled a small hole up and thru the cabinet, rather than the tile floor. Also, the hose he used must have been the cheapest, because we were tasting plastic for a year- I don't know how many countless bins of ice we had to throw away, and there still is the plastic taste... Interestingly, the next day we had no hot water! I was freaking out because I thought the water heater was broken - luckily I know a little bit about mechanical things, and was able to determine that the hot water switch was turned off from the boiler. Strange...

It worked out well. The services were fine.They were generally good except around the payment. I got three of those big deals and I live in a condominium and two for the people below it and I paid for all of them, but when they came the guy didn't know that and charged everybody. You know, I wasn't home and everybody ended up sort of paying twice. They reimbursed, but it was kind of a hassle. I would not use them again.

I was unable to use the big deal due to the company not being able to service my area. They were responsive and professional.

I had a bad experience with them. When I called them in June 2012, they told me that the unit price was $20,000. I told them that I would come back. He told me the price will go up if I don’t buy before January 25th. I called them in February and told me the price was already $24,000. He was very pushy. He lost money because I was ready to do business with him. He told me that I needed bigger one to cool my home. I should have called the company and told them I wanted to speak with someone else. Maybe I will use them in the future but I won't deal with the guy I spoke to.

We have used them to install one of the furnaces. It was an unusual situation and they did an excellent job at a very competitive price. We will continue to use them to service the furnaces.

The work turned out really well. Apart from the big deal price, I did have to pay for several parts that they had to replace. They are very nice people and very efficient. I would recommend them highly.

When I started getting in contact with them I wasn't very appreciative of their attitude. I also got the details of the deal mixed up and they were not sure if they could actually do the work that the deal was for. It was just a little unknown and that is why I didn't end up going with them. A little bit of a misunderstanding on my part but also I was unsure about the work on their end.
