Changed filters, did the seasonal tuneup. Showed up on time and got the job done.

Had no trouble scheduling a service appointment. Sila was easy to deal with. Did not have work performed because my A/C system failed prior to appointment & I had it fixed (temporarily) by my previous service provider. I wound up needing to replace my A/C system and so did not use the "Tune-Up" service I had purchased.

Arrived at time frame as arranged, did the service. Seemed efficient and knowledgeable.Tried to sell me a yearly service contract, which I declined. Price seemed high. Also made several suggestions for additional work on minor issues which I agreed to have them do. However they cancelled the appointment twice saying their guys got held up, so I didn't pursue the matter, work was not done.

Didn't have the work done, way too overpriced

Bobby was great. He didn't make us feel as negligent as we already did for not maintaining our AC system. It had been an embarrassing number of years since we'd had it serviced, and we paid the price with a water damaged ceiling and more. The unit is in the tiniest crawl space of an attic, and Bobby was up there for what seemed like hours - probably 2 or 3- on a very hot day. He explained all of the issues very clearly. Basically everything was clogged and dirty. In addition to the AC working really hard to do it's job (oh, that's why our electric bill had been so high!), it seems as though some critters- probably mice- had chewed off the plastic floater of the overflow valve, so the water having nowhere else to go, spilled over the drip pan onto the ceiling below. Ugh....it could have been worse, i suppose...the ceiling could have collapsed. The price was high, but not necessarily for all the work that was done. We plan to use Sila now for an annual maintenance plan, and recommend them highly.

The receptionist was pleasant, professional and helpful. Although they said that they were not doing tune ups until August, she honored the discount. The serviceman was also pleasant and professional. He gave recommendations, as well indicated what issues were safety concerns.

I used a special Angie's List Deal to have 4 furnaces checked at a rental property. They were only a few years old but had never been serviced by anyone other than the person who installed them. The Sila technician was very thorough and explained everything in terms I could understand. He pointed out a few things that probably weren't done optimally in the original installation and that I should be aware of and keep an eye on. Service was prompt and scheduling a breeze. Price was right since I used the deal from Angie's List.

Craig was very helpful, courteous, and didn't try to upsell me on anything. He acknowledged that eventually I would need to get a new one, but that it was working for now, and gave me the contact number for the office so I can call them for a quote when the time comes. I had new filters that I could have had him put in, but he said they didn't need replaced yet. I would recommend them.

There were problems scheduling the initial visit. A date was set, I stayed home from work, and they didn't show up. After their time had expired, I called for an update. They insisted that I hadn't answered the phone and therefore, wasn't home. It turns out that they were calling the wrong phone number. When I insisted that they made the mistake, a technician was sent out that evening, After that everything went smoothly. The technician explained all the problems with my AC system and offered several different options. For the 2nd visit, everything went smoothly. The technician was on time and completed the job professionally and efficiently.

After Sila told us that our furnace was unsafe and needed to be replaced, we had a pretty knowledgeable friend take a look, and he didn't think there was anything wrong with the furnace. So we then had another fellow come out--someone who had worked for the gas company for years and had recently retired, and was doing this sort of thing on his own now, just for something to do--and he said the furnace was fine; it just needed some tuning up, which he did. He also suggested that we NOT replace the furnace, because he didn't think the newer ones were as good as what we had. We'll have to see how things go this winter, I guess, to know who was right, but I don't think we'll call Sila in again.

I purchased a Big Deal from Sila for the Maintenance of our gas furnance. I have used them for the past few years and they have been very good. They set up appointments quickly and arrive when they say they are going to. I find their regular prices to be a bit expensive but as long as I can find ways to cut the cost (discounts, Big Deals) I will continue to use them. They have always been professional and I trust them to do a good job.

Mechanic said the units were working good but the age of the system might want to think about a newer unit.

Very efficient, on time, comprehensive. Pointed out sources of possible trouble in future, gave tips on how to avoid issues. Looked over entire (rather complicated) system and performed numerous adjustments, filter change, etc. Very pleased with this company's service.

Tech was punctual and explained what the issue was in a clear, friendly manner. Quoted me a punch list of repairs that were a little high, but fair given what was needed.

It took 2 visits but they were able to determine the cause of a recurrent problem . The previous service company (who installed the system) were unable to locate the actual problem which was a wire connecting to the condenser that had frayed where it exited the house and kept shorting out.

Cleaned up 11 yrs of neglect. Upgraded portions of the system. I do not have the knowledge to grade the quality. The system did not leak and ran just fine after the service.

It went well. The response was very quick from the company and the technician was on time. The problem was fixed during the visit.

Everything went smoothly with Bobby from Sila. I just let him know where the furnace and central A/C unit were, and he did the rest. Until I get the real repairs next year, a little work was done to keep the unit in OK shape until then. I felt that my repair options were well explained, and I was given a list of those for future reference, with the caveat that the prices would most likely change after a month. I cannot say how good or bad those prices were, as this is my first experience with getting A/C repairs. However, it gives me a good idea of how I need to budget for when I actually get the repairs next year.

The service man showed up promptly. He explained what he was doing at each stage and gave me pointers for maintaining the system myself. As a result of the excellent service I have purchased an annual maintenance plan.

Serviceman, Brian was professional and knowledgeable, however the company protocol for inspections and tuneups might be a bit abbreviated. The advertised tuneup sounds like a good deal but when you realize that it only takes them ten minutes and they haven't done much of anything you begin to wonder what you are paying for. Even the report form was barely filled out with the system performance stats until I asked for them. I then asked them for a proposal to finish some other HVAC work I need on two other systems and I have heard nothing. That was seven weeks ago. For that I should give them a D instead of a B, but I think generally they are capable of good work. They may be a bit overpriced but that is true with many mechanical companies.

He did a very good and thorough job preparing the furance for the winter.
