The technician, John G., was on time, professional, and polite. He was also very thorough, and detailed his work, and the work that the system would likely need in the coming years. I appreciated his honesty.

Guy arrived on time and performed a regular maintenance on my furnace in about a 1/2 hour. He explained everything he did clearly and was extremely friendly. He even took the time to suggest how to remove a very old oil furnace that's in the basement. Guy was helpful and polite!

Tony was great! He did a detailed inspection on our two furnace units. He found a number of things that were incorrectly installed.. And gave me the details and ballpark figures to fix, I'm reaching out to the guy who installed them first to see if he'll fix them, if not I'll give Tony a call.

Had a 9-12 window. They called and canceled @ 2pm. Took the day off for this and wouldn’t work with me to find a time that fits my schedule. Had to be on their terms. Horrible customer service. Wouldn’t recommend them to do anything.

We had Guy Ciluffo here from SILA this morning. It was a most pleasant experience. Everything worked according to plan. Guy called us before he came and showed up in time. While he did maintenance on our furnace he explained what he was doing and why. He also checked the valve on a radiator and gave tips re our AC system. Very professional and straight forward! Fortunately, we had no repairs or replacements but we decided to subscribe to a maintenance plan, not the least because of our pleasant experience with the SILA visit.

Trustworthy! I purchased an AC plan from them and they call me for an appointment for maintenance. They are a company that care! Who is a company that would remind you about maintenance/tune up?Thank you Sila! When you purchase a plan, you are their family!

Ivan came to our home within the 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. window given to us by Sila. He spent a good 45 minutes to an hour cleaning out our system and testing it. He was professional, friendly and informative about how we can maintain our system. Our system was in good shape. We used an Angie's List deal for the service. Last week, Sila did call me to move the appointment to an earlier date which didn't work for us. There was some confusion about whether Ivan was still coming this morning when I called to confirm the appointment. So that is why I gave a B for responsiveness. However, once we confirmed the service was today, Ivan came and the service was very professional and helpful. We were overall very pleased with the service.

When I called I was lectured that I should not use the heat pump for heat, this is despite it is the special model that heats down to 5' at 100% at some level down to -13'F. I was than told that it would cost $175 for a person to come out and for the first 15 minutes and $90 per half hour after that. If their ignorance about the equipment wasn't enough the price was.

When I had the system installed I paid extra for a heat pump that would work to 5 degrees F. When I called for service I was told I was not supposed to use the system for heat. Which is absurd because that one of the things it is for. I was then told they would send someone out but it would be $175 for the first 15minutes and $90 for every half houri after that. So if I wasn't put off by the ignorance of the people answering the phone I certainly was at that point.

I had a tune up almost 2 years ago and there was a problem with one of the zone valves. They told me my system was lousy and probably going to go, so instead of paying $800+ for a new valve they would sell me a new $20,000 for $17,000 if I signed up right away. They kept calling me and I had to block them from my phone. I had a plumber come and fix the valve for $383 and have had no heating system issues last even with the record cold days we had and so far this year it works great. And when I do need a new system, I can get it between $12K and 14K.

During the inspection, I was told my 5 year old furnace had a cracked heat exchanger and was red tagged and shut down. I had three other companies come in and say it wasn't cracked at all. Got another Sila tech back out and he confirmed a cracked heat exchanger. Insurance company came out and said no cracked heat exchanger. So, I don't know what to think. They were very professional but Im not sure they diagnosed the problem correctly

I was let down. They called me to cancel after the appointment time was due. I had taken 3 hours off work. Totally unprofessional.

Ken came over and did a furnace tune up. He fixed a cycling issue while he was at it which was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to have over and explain things to us about our old furnace.

They did a good job and are very professional. They also replaced my hot water heater as well. They are a little pricey but they are reliable and they know their business. I will continue to use them.

First they had to come to estimate the job and disconnect the old range. They scheduled for 2-5 PM on a Friday. They called several times before the scheduled visit to ask if they could come immediately, but we weren't home. When the day came they kept delaying and finally said they couldn't make it until Monday. To connect the new range they said they'd come between 8 and 11 AM. They finally made it at 3 PM. The work was fine, but it was a simple job. Cost us $339.00.

Fantastic. We contacted several plumbing companies (including one on the North Shore which didn't return our calls, messaging, or Angie's List messaging -- and we have used them several times in the past). Sila came out, was highly professional, and did a FANTASTIC job from job estimation to job completion. We had one small hiccup in what was a big job (cross-wired thermostat), and they came right out and fixed it, while they fine-tuned the burner. The quality of the work was absolutely first-rate: all fittings look perfect, the maze of piping was rationalized, they set it up to add a zone should we want one later, and we have lots of available hot water. It was expensive -- but I do feel peace of mind, and they will be out annually to check on it for the next few years. Highly recommend Sila!

The repair went very well. The 2 plumbers were professional, polite and worked well together. The work was explained and the faucet filter change was explained. I was very happy with the quality of work. However, I felt the price was a bit high, and it included an $89.00 "assessment" fee, which was explained to me as a fee just to get the plumbers to my door. The plumbers called it a dispatch fee. Considering that I provided the faucet, I thought the total cost of the job was on the high side. The old faucet and packaging for the new faucet was removed by the plumbers, and my kitchen was left in very clean condition. Great job overall.

I got a quote from them for a furnace replacement but ended up going with a different vendor but Sila seemed like a great option. Jeffrey knew the details of the Mass save program which was very helpful.

They inspected our furnace and concluded it was "condemned" and needed to be shut down. So we purchased a replacement through the mass save program. Upon removal the furnace heat exchange was not cracked on the outside. (Might have been on the inside?) So that was somewhat frustrating. But other than that they were good. Eric
