Even though the work itself seems to be good, it feel odd to pay more for the replacement of parts on a used water tank when the same company offers to install a brand new water tank for ~$100 less. Unless there are few necessary add-on that inflate the bill similarly. Satisfied but not dramatically impressed.

This was a special Angie's list offer for a discounted heater check-up. I would use them again. I was very impressed with the professional, personable technician.

The technician was on time, professional and knowledgable. He explianed the system operation and what he did. He was clean and provided detail report.

Scheduling was prompt and they came out quickly for the service. They were very nice and helpful. They were polite and arrived exactly on the hour they said they would come. It was a great experience.

Service rep was very professional. Arrived on-time, performed the service and provided a written list of follow-up items to be addressed. This is the second time I used this provider for our annual furnace inspection and I will continue to use them.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I don't think I paid any additional. They were polite and worked well with my tenants. They did fine and they got back to me on it. They did recommend some additional service that I did not pursue but it was good to have the information. They gave me additional quotes that I thought were high but their service was exactly as advertised. I would probably use them again.

Returned call at night. Came the next day and replaced the thermostat and programmed it. Was professional, but felt it was about $60.00 more than it should have been for a simple "value" thermostat. Total cost was $305. Called and asked about the cost, was told that Sila is the best, but not the least inexpensive. That's an accurate statement.

They serviced our two old AC units. The service went very well. They gave us the different options we had available if we ever wanted to repair or replace the units. I appreciated that they didn’t try to sell us any additional services. They were very helpful.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I actually purchased two of the deals, one for my air conditioner and one for my furnace. It went well for the first visit for the air conditioner and it was fine for the furnace. For what it was, it was fine. I'm not certain I would use them for additional services based on the expense of what they quoted me. The specific deal was as advertised. It was a flat rate and there were no additional charges. They were pretty good with communication. It was a rental property and I needed to make sure that they were polite and dealt well with my tenants.

Very professional, provided feedback of the system and how it could be used more efficiently. Also provided options on upgrading the system since it is not a well design system and not as efficient and new models. No pressure, but provided several option if I was interested in following up on any one of them.

Bought their $89 big deal for a check up on the boiler of my newly purchased home. The tech came in and was here quite some time as he stated the boiler was, for the most part, never maintained. After he was complete and talked to me about their service plans, which I ended up buying for 5 years. The service plan has already paid for itself as my control board went this winter and was replaced at no additional cost as it was covered. However, I wanted them to come out and give me an estimate on adding a zone to my existing boiler and they wanted to charge me for the visit even though I'm an existing customer and their Angie's List page says they give free estimates.

Were very responsive and checked source from every angle. Turned out it was not a functional problem of the HVAC system, so nothing needed to be done.

Sila scheduled an appointment to come out and look at the installation to see if there were any complications or reasons why additional charges might be warranted. The technician dropped by on a Friday morning promptly at 7AM and was able to assure me that there would be no complications or additional charges based on what he saw. He explained what happens sometimes on some installations and I understood that there might be times that additional fees might be warranted. He said he would have the office call me to see if I was interested in scheduling the installation which they did later that day and the tank was installed Friday the 21st. It was installed by a technician by the name of Craig and he was very considerate and courteous. He explained the installation and how to adjust the water temperature if I needed to make a change. I have to say I was more than a little concerned after my first phone conversations with Sila when they mentioned additional charges. The follow up calls I received from the office staff and Jake, the manager, were great and they apologized for the confusion. They were very much concerned and wanted to make sure that I had a positive experience with Sila because they pride themselves with the level of service they provide to their customers. My experience with them after the initial confusion was nothing but the best. I don't know if it was because of the involvement of Angie's List or if it was Sila by themselves. Either way, I would definitely do business with them again.

Pretty good. I'm happy with the results. If the price could be a little cheaper, that would be nice. But overall, I'm pretty happy with the service.

It felt good having the inspection done. Winter was fast approaching, and I didn't want to have to worry about the condition of my boiler, and possibly face being without heat. It turned out that the ignition system and wiring needed to be replaced. So I had that done, AND signed up for a 3 year service plan.

They were on time and everything worked as planned. They called me before they came to the appointment. They were very available when you need the and their prices are reasonable. The service technicians are very professional as well.

A few years back they did something with our vent cleaning and we were pleased with their service. We had them clean just one air vent and they said that for it to be effective they had to clean all the vents that were attached to the main line, so it did cost double, but it was an honest suggestion.

That turned okay. Two technicians came out and they stayed for less than an hour. We didn’t have any problems with them while they were here. We had to reschedule, due to a misunderstanding with the time and that was handled smoothly. We have used them before that Big Deal too.

They replaced the thermocouple. Went very smooth. Very knowledgeable tech.

Sila really seems to know and understand heating and air conditioning. They are very professional and a pleasure to work with.

Aging water heater required replacement. Sila provided an accurate estimate for replacing the water heater and worked with me to schedule a convenient time to perform the service. The service provider was punctual, knowledgeable, and cleaned up after his work. Their office staff are also courteous on the phone. I would use Sila again!

They provided a detailed evaluation of my water heater and boiler, which was useful, although I am not sure I would hire Sila to replace them when the time comes.

Took the tech. 2-1/2 hours to diagnose and repair for a simple relay. When the job was complete and I asked for the bill in order to discuss the cost and time with the manager and the tech threatened to pull out the part and leave if I did not pay. Perhaps this was a fluke, but $562 later I think I have a right to question the cost. This was way over-priced and not a pleasant experience. To the managers credit they called knowing my disappointment and offered to wave the service charge fee of $89.00. Perhaps my experience was out of the ordinary, I did have a good experience when I bought the $89 system overhaul coupon last year. I will certainly shop around next time.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. They just came in and looked at it; nothing really changed. I am not having any furnace problems now. My interaction with the provider was good; they were professional. I had to wait a month or two after purchasing the Big Deal for them to come out to do the service. They did not do anything wrong. For the price, I would probably expect a little more for the service. I think they came on time.
