Sila Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical

Overall the staff seemed nice and professional. However, as with every service company I use ... each one points on some different part of the unit they think needs major repair. The unit is only 4 years old so I am very skeptical of these claims. Always feel like I am being "sold" on more work. The only other complaint is that they were here for a very long time consdidering it was routine maintenance. I beleive they were here for close to 2.5 hours for something that normal takes 30 minutes.

I was really happy with Sila Heating & Air Conditioning. They were very professional, prices were reasonable and they were knowledgeable. In general listens to me. Scheduling was great, they were prompt and there were no problems.

It was a positive experience. It was not exceptional but it was good and I have no complaints. They were professional, friendly and listened well.

Successfully installed new water heater in basement and removed old one. Workman was friendly. Could have been neater, with more attention to detail. My basement occasionally floods, so I didn't want the heater to sit directly on the floor. He seemed impatient with my request. Fortunately, we were able to quickly find some scrap marble slabs to position under the heater. Not the best solution, as the heater is not completely level, but seems to have got the job done.

We got this big deal refunded. We have oil and they only work with gas. They were professional.

The furnace needed to be replaced. They took pictures and explained all the details to me. I had an quote to get a new furnace but found Sila to be expensive. Maybe next service.

The service professional arrived promptly and performed all of the services and provided helpful information about potential repairs that might be needed in the coming years.

This was a very simple visit. Sila offered a deal where they would service my boiler for little money, and as I had recently moved into my house this was very appealing. The boiler did not need any real work, so I cannot really comment on their technical abilities or price. I will point out that Sila, as you would expect, uses these special deals as an opportunity to look for bigger more profitable work. In my case they came back a second time to provide an estimate on the replacement of the 26-year old boiler. That was fine with me, as replacing the boiler is "on my list" and getting an estimate of what it might cost was very helpful. Nice people. Prompt. No complaints.

Good - they showed up as scheduled and evaluated systems on new home I had purchased. Fixed a problem with the boiler and added some drains for AC system. Overall service was good, techs were professional and friendly. I think they are on the high side for cost but could be a case of getting what you pay for. Being a new owner have little basis of comparison but have been told I could do better price-wise but again that's anecdotal.

Very professional work. It takes about an hour to complete a water heater tune up. And he is very kind in teaching us how to maintain our water heater as we're new home owner. He introduces two very attracting maintenance plans that include regular maintenance and repair. But it doesn't quite fit us as our house is newly built. Overall I had a good experience with them.

They did a really good job. They were prompt and responded to my questions. I was very happy. I would use them again in a minute. They didn’t charge anything extra.

They were very good and they answered my wife's questions really well. They tried to sell us a house humidifier but we didn't get it. They were very responsive.

Went fine. Didn't get all the answers about dirty water that I wanted, but he did the assigned work well. They have their act together.

It was great, John from Sila was better than on time, he was a few minutes early! He went through the HVAC system first, explaining the process, what he was looking for, finding and more importantly not finding. He pointed out things that were in good shape, things that he was concerned about, and provided his perspective on what not taking action might mean. I took his advice and while certainly spent more money than I would have liked to, I feel that it was money well spent. John was friendly, knowledgeable and professional all around. I would recommend Sila to anyone and will be using them for my HVAC and related needs for the foreseeable future.

They were fine. They were very courteous and on time to their appointment. They didn't try to sell me extra service. They did what they were supposed to do. I will use them again. I think for the deal price, it was reasonable.

The service provider made very good presentation of his product and service.

They were excellent and helpful. We had originally hired them just to do a tune up (though a big deal special). However, as it turned out, we were having a problem with the furnace right before they were scheduled to come. They were able to fix the problem at the same time.

He did what he was supposed to do and I was happy with the service. He was at my home for about an hour.

Sila is the only HVAC service I will ever use again. They are professional, helpful, and provide many different options for costs of services. I'm also a Mechanical Engineer (college degree but not a ton of field practice), so I know the basics of HVAC systems; however, without even mentioning this fact, the technician was accurately walking me through all the problems and planned corrections he was suggesting in a way that would be easy for anyone to understand. He went above and beyond with checking items that could possibly lead to a water leak inside and offered many suggestions for improvements at different costs. Sila is trustworthy, professional, and competent which is essential when working with HVAC professionals. Save time and go Sila!!!

Sila was great. Punctual, knowledgeable, and efficient. John was really great explaining to me the work that needed to be done and why, as well as presenting me multiple options at different costs. I now feel more comfortable knowing the unit is operating efficiently, safely, and hopefully for many years to come. Thank you!
