I found them on Angie's List. They are huge. They did a great job. They had different crews come in for the asphalt driveway and the cobblestone work, and each one did a great job. There were several people and they worked very quickly, and did a quality job.

A date for the project was confirmed. A deposit was not required by the company. The project started on the agreed upon date and took the amount of time as the company said it would. All the old asphalt was removed and disposed of by the company, and a new asphalt driveway was laid in accordance with the project description. There was one area in which the grade concerned us. As this was not able to be addressed satisfactorily without changing the overall appearance of the driveway, the company removed the newly laid asphalt and redid the whole project. The final result was a perfect (my wife and I are perfectionists) asphalt driveway. Ryan Lazaro was phenomenal and made every effort to ensure that the customer was completely satisfied and the driveway was of a very high standard. I would have no hesitation recommending Lazaro Paving.

I called over a week ago and was told someone would call me back. I called again and was told they had too many calls and could not call everyone back, but she would tell them I had called again. That was last week. No one has called me. My job is not a whole driveway, so maybe they are just too busy for this job.

They did a fantastic job. They worked quickly, expanded our driveway, and were very professional.

This paving company actually rectified another company's mistakes. They regraded, reprepped, and put on a finish coating. The company representative was courteous and arrived when he said he would. When the job was begun and finished was also done according to the agreed schedule. The job was done in two parts by two different crews. Both crews showed professionalism and competency. There were no hidden costs. The estimated cost was the cost with no additional money because oil prices were wildly fluctuating and affecting the cost of asphalt. When they actually showed up, they were great. The final outcome is of high quality. However, working with them was a nightmare. They first guy was 45 minutes late for the appointment to give me an estimate. Despite that, I decided to go with them because a colleague recommended them and I see them working all over my area. Their other projects seem of high quality. Also, their price was better than the other quotes I received. I got a call on a Monday afternoon stating they would be there the following afternoon. They then called that morning and said it would be the next day. I took a vacation day on Wednesday so I could be home to make sure the prep crew understood what had been agreed. They called in the morning and said they would be 2 hours late, and then they never showed up. My contact said they got held up and would be there the next day. They didn't show up then (Thursday) either. That crew finally arrived on Friday morning. They were friendly and efficient, and appeared to be skilled. Both the sales guy and the prep crew told me the paving crew would arrive first thing on Saturday morning. No one showed up all day. I only got voicemail when trying to call the contact numbers. No one showed on Monday either. The receptionist at their office told me they were having issues with another job. That seems to be their standard response, because I was told that 6 or 7 different times. She promised they would be there first thing Tuesday morning. They were not. They finally showed up after lunch on Tuesday. It took them 2 hours to pave the driveway, so clearly this should not have been that difficult for them to fit into their schedule. To top everything off, the receptionist said the sales guy would call me to personally apologize, and he never did. It seems like they are very bad at scheduling, or maybe residential driveways are not their priority. In the end I saved money and I'm happy with the new driveway, but I did not enjoy the experience. If customer service and responsiveness are not high priorities for you, then you will probably be happy with Lazaro.

It was excellent. They had great pricing, and I liked that they didn't charge until the work was completed. There were no problems at all.

The first crew tearing down the drive way, removing the old surface and then preparing the drive way for the new asphalt. Then came the second crew putting down the new asphalt, paying close attention to the edges, the pitch of the drive way so water can run off properly.

Lazaro Paving was always very responsive, from the initial contact to the visit to provide an estimate and on through the completion of the work. The work was done carefully and professionally, and the final product -- a spanking new driveway and walkway -- looks terrific. The work was also done very efficiently, with a large and clearly highly skilled crew.

I interviewed about 8 companies before deciding on Lazaro who was offering the best price for the quality work I wanted done (6 inches gravel plus 3 inches asphalt). They also took payment upon completion of the job rather than 50% up front like some of the companies. I am so thrilled with the beautiful work that they did. They also did not give me a problem when I had to delay the start of the project by 3 months due to Verizon digging up my sidewalk/foot of the driveway, and they did not increase the price even though oil prices had gone up. Highly recommend.

They were efficient and best bid. They left a little behind in the Cul-de-sac that I cleaned up.

Very well. Scheduling the work was "flexible"-- they call the day before to say they'll be over. The work was done very well; they were very professional. I'm very happy with the work, although it will take 10 to 15 years to know for sure how good a job they did.

Extremely professional, from the original bid through to the finished work. My driveway goes through some wet areas and was rutted to the point that cars were bottoming out. Lazaro was the highest bidder but they convinced me they'd do the job right. They showed up with ten workers and lined the street with equipment. The old driveway, some enormous boulders hidden underneath and approximately 150 yards of material were removed. They built up the base with various sized crushed rock and had it ready for paving by the end of the day. Both paving layers went down within a week's time. All employees were extremely polite and appeared proud of their work. My wife described the work as a "choreographed dance" with all the equipment and workers on the driveway. I was particularly impressed with them running a hose on the driveway at the end to verify drainage. Phone calls were always returned within 24 hours and any questions I had were happily answered in detail.

Excellent. Lazaro was professional, timely, and came in with the lowest quote of the four firms we had scope out the work. I have already recommended them to other friends in the area who are in need of new driveways.

Lazaro Paving did a great job in widening our driveway. Unfortunately the weather was bad for a couple of weeks so the job was delayed. But once they came to the house, the job was done promptly and correctly.

CONTRACTER WAS ON TIME, HELPFUL, PROFESSIONAL. WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THE DRIVEWAY QUALITY AND PRICE. ALTHOUGH THEY DIDN'T ALWAYS CALL BACK AS SOON AS WE WOULD LIKE, A COURTEOUS PERSON ASSURED US OUR QUESTIONS WOULD BE ANSWERED.

THE GUY WAS VERY NICE AND ON TIME FOR THE APPOINTMENT. HE ALSO TALKED WITH SOME OF MY NEIGHBORS AS WELL. I WAS ABLE TO FIND A BETTER PRICE BUT THIS COMPANY WAS MY SECOND CHOICE. PRICE WAS AN A-. THEY WERE FRIENDLY AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING WELL.

THE EDGES WERE NOT AS STRAIGHT AS I WOULD HAVE LIKED THEM TO BE.
