Jim and his team went above and beyond to help me. I am new to the area and had my vents cleaned when we moved into our new home. The cleaner cut BOTH freon lines! Jim and his team solved the problem. Upgraded our systems and worked with the insurance company to close out my claim with the vent cleaners. They truly care and it shows.

I asked about prices and it was the trip charge and a few other fees. I think they should be more up front communication on the fees and that freon cost a lot. I wasn't prepared for how much the extra "fees" were.

I was relieved to find a plumber to come on a Sunday when my heat cut out due to an extinguished pilot. I so appreciate that he founded a potentially dangerous situation when he uncovered a big mistake from a prior repair. However, the price of his services, which I should have asked upfront, was astronomical. I learned my lesson.

Second time Hiring Burke Plumbing. No problem with the quality of the work on this job. Arrived on time. Courteous. The problem was the bill was grossly overcharged for time. The plumber was in my home for about 5 hours (actually less, but say 5 hours). Said they charge half-hour for travel time (never heard of this, but OK). My math comes out to 5.5 hours. I was charged 7 hours. This will be the last time I hire them. Be careful and check your bill if you do hire them. This is a bad business practice to grossly overcharge the customer. The first time I hired them, everything was just fine.
