I requested service of my oil furnace the day before a big blizzard as we had been seeing some start up issues. The owner came up and adjusted my electrodes in the furnace and it was running again. 6 hours later the furnace failed to start. We watched our inside temperature plummet to 45* for the night as we attempted to call their company back. My phone call was returned the following day to make an appointment that was a no show, another night of 45* as we continue to heat our house with our fireplace. Third day first thing in the morning the furnace successfully started up after another attempt to restart. A man from Berke shows up to perform a regular cleaning. Once again the furnace runs for 6 hours and then fails. All attempts to recontact Berke have been unsuccessful and we have emergency contacted another company, I am cold, angry, and now out $500+ for the two previously unsuccessful appointments.

My oil burner broke down in the middle of the night, caused the temperature of the house to plummet to 45 degree Fahrenheit. I called them on a Saturday morning, and within one hour, the technician was there and fix the problem within 2 hours. Cons: I do feel like the price was a little bit extravagant, but the quality of service was great.

I asked Burke to give me a quote for AC unit repair. Instead of giving a quote, he just cleaned and filled the unit with R22 and handed us a bill for $810!!. We never authorized this work. I had other companies coming to give a quote (which he was aware of). When I called to complain, Jim was very defensive and claimed that he couldn't give me a quote for repairs??? He never told me that on the phone when I asked him to come out. He also claimed that he put in 12 lbs. of R22 but I later found out that my unit only holds 4.8 lbs. I will NEVER hire Burke Plumbing and Heating again.

Good, quick response, my wife says he was professional and helpful. I only gave 3 stars on value for money because ac repair seems expensive to me for what you get. We had a simple bad capacitor and it was $400. No problem as I'm sure that is the going rate. I would recommend this Pro.

Burke Plumbing sent over two men, which was not needed. They said they could not fix the problem but had a diagnosis- electrical problem. They did not correctly diagnose the problem, or even find the second AC unit! They then referred me to an electrician who never properly followed up with me. I was over charged for their time at $125/hr for two men who did nothing! In addition, they changed the temperature to improve cooling on 5 thermostats that are ONLY for heat!!! This company has no business doing AC service.

Showed up same day and completed the repair in less than an hour. Other service providers couldn't show up for a week and quoted more than 2x what Burke charged us. Other HVAC service companies indicated extensive problems, but Burke identified a relatively simple issue. It was an expensive fix, but so far an effective one.

Great job! Everardo was informative and double checked everything to ensure the safety of the house. He came out at the earliest convenience and did a great job. He reviewed all the follow-up work that needed to be done and make sure my unit ran smoothly and there would be no more problems.

They came out to my house within hours of my call. The plumber (Everardo) knew what he was doing and walked me through what was going on. After he fixed the issue in a very timely manner he laid out some suggested for future enhancements, yet was never pushy or sales like. I am confident the next issue I have in my house I will be calling Burke Plumbing and Heating back to assist.
