1. Respond fast. 2. Diagnostic inaccurate. 3. Replaced the wrong part, which did not solve the issue. 4. Part cost around $200 on Suppliers House, charge more than $600 5. 15-20 minutes work, charged labor 2 hours. $225 per hour. Finally, I had to fix by replacing a Zone Power Head which cost only $75. Unhappy with this situation. Expensive lesson learned.

Very professional, got right to work fixing my furnace - entire fix took less than hour. I would absolutely recommend!

Plugin the technician. I asked for a Burnham trained tech and got a person who claimed to be trained on everything. Turns out I knew more about Burnham boilers than him. He just kept replacing very expensive parts (20% markup) without even doing any diagnostic testing. When he left, my heating system still was not keeping up. Two days later, I diagnosed the problem as a bad internal circulation pump ($95). House is nice and warm. Burke took me for $1800.

Burke Plumbing & Heating completely overcharged me for the zone dampener replacement work. Day One - Two guys came in. One expert & another a trainee. Within fifteen mins or so they figured out it was my zone dampener that was the issue. The expert said they would order parts, suggesting I better order one extra for the other zone as well at this time. I thought that was a fair suggestion, and ok'd it. They left later stating they'll come back once the parts are in. Day Two - Only the trainee came in. Even after making a few mistakes initially he finished the work in about 30 mins or so. But he wasnâ t able to communicate clearly what the charges were for etc. And did not tell me that they ordered only one dampener at that time. Also left the cover of the 'functioning' dampener unfixed. Sloppy job, overall. The part charge seemed normal, around 140 or so (for one, the second one was 'backordered', but they hadn't charged me for that. Though on Day One, the expert led me to believe they were going to get me two right away.) Service is where the shocker was. The service charge was more than three times that amount??! Given that the whole fixing took only about an hour max...it seems to be an unreasonable price. Plus, sending a trainee to do that job...and charging a rate that's almost equivalent to an attorney fees is ridiculous . I've reached out to them regarding this, and they havent responded. Completely unsatisfied with their service. I have another plumbing issue, that I was hoping to use them to address. But I have to look for a different company. I hope homeadvisor can help remediate this, and help get some part of the charge back.

I paid over $600.00 dollars to this company to repair my air conditioner. The technician said I needed a new air conditioner system and heating system. I got a second opinion and found that the air conditioner wires were connected wrong, and he fixed the problem in 5 minutes. I have filed a case against the company.

They called quickly and showed up within the hour. They communicated the problem and fixed it quickly. Very pleased.

When the original AC installer wouldn't correct ongoing problems during 90* to 100* heat, they kept pushing out the days they promised to come out, which turned into weeks always with lame excuses. I decided to call Burke Plumbing and Heating and explained the problems to him, he called to see if the original company came out. After realizing that the original installers were never coming Jim Burke came out personally to correct the original problems. He spent the entire day on the weekend fixing all of the issues, when he could have spent the time with his family! He corrected all of the damage the original installers walked away from, including mismatched furnace and AC components. I have heart issues that worsen with high summer heat, Jim was very concerned right from the start. The original installers were indifferent, they could not have cared less!!! Jim Burke is the consummate professional, he knew the answers to my every question, he was very patient with us. The heating and ac system works better now than ever before! Jim Burke is the best!!
