He asked me for my blow dryer to melt a certain part and replaced the motor and it worked fine. A week later it stopped working again and he came out a second time. He mentioned that I would need a new part and also called the manufacturer to speak with them about the issue. The engineer recommended simply unplugging it to reset but he didn't follow those instructions, and left parts unscrewed. So when he left I tried unplugging it and it worked just fine so I called and told him it worked but asked that he please come back to put everything back together and take care of the loose screws and since then I've never heard from him again.
Description of Work: My refrigerator wasn't working and this was right before Thanksgiving. I had to remove all of my food and put it elsewhere, and contacted him to come out and repair it.

We had a problem with our dishwasher (standard error code on the dishwasher let us know what it was). We called Fridgidaire and they assigned this guy to show up at our house. He didn't have the part on the first visit and said he would have to order it and return to install it. After a month of calling and trying to get him to return he never came back to re-install the part. He runs his business on his cell phone and doesn't return phone calls. His voicemail is full so you can't leave a voicemail. Kept saying he would return my phone calls but never did. I must have called this guy at least 100 times with no luck. Of course Fridgidaire was no help either. Extremely unprofessional and unorganized. If you actually want your appliances fixed definitely don't go with this guy.

First Authorized Appliance is contracted to fix our dishwasher. We have a scheduled appointment between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. I take time off of work, and nobody shows up. I call Authorized Appliances at 3:00 PM, at which point this gentleman tells me he will not be arriving today. He does diagnose what he needs and requests that I call him back when the part arrives. A week later, I call to make an appointment. he says, can I call you back in an hour and never calls back. The next day, I call back to make an appointment, he says, can I call you back in an hour and never calls back. I call back, he says can I call you back in five minutes, I ask, are you really going to call me back? He says yes, and then never calls back. I call back, no answer. I call back, no answer. I call back, no answer. I call back, no answer. I call back, he answers, and says he can be here 9:30 tomorrow. I can do tomorrow but I can't do 9:30, are there any other times you can do? He says no. OK, what about on a different day, can you do a different time on a different day? He says, No, he only comes to my town at 9:30 because of traffic. It was around that point, I gave up. I lost my temper, and I will never do business with Authorized Appliance again.

Awful. Authorized Appliance Service cancelled my appointment at the last minute, told me that keeping the agreed upon appointment time was 'inconvenient' to them, and rudely hung up to end the phone call. Additionally, the person I was dealing with did not speak clearly and did not carry a professional attitude. Initially, I was able to quickly reach 'David' and schedule an appointment for him to come to my house and make the repair. The plan was for him to arrive at noon the next day. I was planning to leave work at 11:30a to meet him at my house. David called me twice between 10:30a and 11:30a that morning, while I was in a work meeting without my phone. The second message stated he was cancelling the appointment and I needed to reschedule because I wasn't answering the phone and he didn't think I was home. I had explained previously that I would be at work in the morning and likely unavailable but that there would be no problem meeting him at the house at noon. At 11:30a I returned his call saying I got his message but expected him to be at my house at noon as agreed. He said that he couldn't because he was now at another customer location and that I would have to make another appointment. This level of service is unacceptable to me in this situation because the service is being done on a brand new refrigerator that should not need it in the first place. Therefore, I expect the service company representing the manufacturer to exemplify a high level of customer service, not what I experienced.
Description of Work: Authorized Appliance Service was recommended to me by Electrolux to make a warranty repair on the water line and filter on my new refrigerator.

We had problem with that, but it was mostly my husbands fault because he took apart the washer without calling anyone. We are not in a position to judge at all and we can?t tell you about the caller, except that everyone was very courteous and pleasant. They person that we talked to said she would but ended up saying she could not get the part, so my husband went on line and ordered it. Things like the drum, bearing and all sorts of things and then she said she was not going to come over and do it because it was taken apart and she could not be responsible for the workmanship. They did not do it, but told us at the last minute when she said she was going to do it. The price they gave us was reasonable and she was helpful until the point where she called and said that she was not going to do the work. If she had come she would have understood that all the parts that were taken out were in numbered zip lock bags and were perfectly in order.

He came to my house and explained to me what was going wrong and why it was happening. He told me what to do if the problem happened again and told me all of my options. He is very nice and easy to talk to. He responds very quickly.
