At first Dave was great, he came and did the work that he promised. Once the problems in the system he installed were detected that's when the communication with Dave became very "spotty". I would leave messages for him and during the first few weeks after installation he would get back to me a few days later...not great communication but at least he responded. Dave would promise to show up to fix the valve that was leaking and he initially wouldn't show on the day or time that he said he would. He said he forgot or had an emergency. I had no heat in one zone for close to two weeks. I still have a leak and one of the shut-off valves he installed has been broken from day one. He said he needed to order the part and would return on a Tuesday to fix it......that was over 20 days and 10 phone calls/texts ago! I still haven't heard from him! In his original proposal he said all work is guaranteed for 2 years from completion but this means absolutely nothing if he doesn't return phone calls and ignores his customers! This ordeal has been so frustrating and a huge disappointment! I continue to call and threaten to call the BBB, hoping he has a conscious and does the right thing. I've even suggested he refund some money for the broken part, so I can hire a real professional to do the work and hold the warranty. It's too bad because I have had MANY people ask me about the contractors I've worked with and perhaps would recommend throughout my renovation. Unfortunately, Dave is DEFINITELY NOT ONE I WOULD RECOMMEND!
Description of Work: Dave Fosberg of Georgetown,MA. was hired to install a new Buderus heating system and hot water tank. Unfortunately, he came recommended by the manager at F W. Webb in Gloucester, MA. Dave installed the unit and he got paid in full. Shortly after the installation and payment one zone stopped working, my husband realized a valve was broken and there were multiple leaks. It took over two weeks to get Dave back to fix just the heat. We've been waiting for over 3 weeks for the replacement valve and one leak to be fixed.
