The work that Joe and his team did was top notch. The team delivered the materials the day before the work started and they were always extra careful not to scratch my new fence when delivering the heavy new bulkhead. Removing the old bulkhead was quite a job . The old metal was cut up into small pieces so it could be removed carefully. All the old materials were removed from the property. Joe is a perfectionist in his work making sure everything fix correctly , he did the type of work I would do myself, if I had the skill., it was if he was working on his house, everything had to be just right. I went to the lumber yard to get a section of new siding and "J" channel and Joe must have spent a least an hour fitting the small sections of siding to the new bulkhead. I did get two quotes on the job, both within a few $'s, but Joe was the most understanding of my concerns and met all my expection. I highly recommend Joe Cavallaro "The Bulkhead Man" for this specialized work.

Joe responded quickly to my initial phone call, came out and gave us an estimate, which was considerably less than we expected, and gave us a full explanation of what would be done. He did a tremendous job on the installation, we are very happy with the results. He hauled away the old bulkhead and the yard was completely cleaned up when he left. I would highly recommend him for any bulkhead work. Easy to work with (a very nice guy!), high quality work, and excellent price.

He installed it at my house and didn’t charge me for the part, only the installation. He also negotiated on the price. He was a really nice. I would highly recommend him.

Really a great job--fine quality product and well-installed. A "B" for price only because it wasn't cheap, but it was worth the quality. No complaints here. Joe is pleasant, responsive, and very busy--lots of work follows good work. I would not hesitate to use him again and to recommend him to friends and neighbors.

There was a bit of back and forth in contacting him and getting paperwork settled, but they came and did the job as promised and they did a good job.

One day service -removed all old materials and ensured yard was left in same condition (or better) than found.

Mr. Cavallaro arrived right on time with his assistant Sean. They commenced to dig out and remove the old bulkhaed assmbly and replace it witha new unit fabricated in their shop which met our every expectation. These folks were very pleasant, hard-working and efficient. Four hours later with the job complete, Mr. Cavallaro explained in detail what had been done and advised that he would be back in 30days to recheck the job, back fill any earth that might have settled, etc. It was a pleasure dealing with this company, and I would highly reccomend the "Bulkhead Man" to anyone. Guaranteed thaey will be happy with their result.

Joe has my highest recommendation. We inherited a drainage problem exacerbated by the former owners of our home who installed patio pavers too high and added a "drain to nowhere" along the front edge of our bulkhead. After losing many sleepless nights during rainstorms, I re-graded my lawn, installed an exterior perimeter drain, and reset the patio. However, the patio could only be lowered by a few inches due to the slope of my lot. After the excavation work had been completed in my backyard, water once again tricked through the bulkhead during a thunderstorm. Extremely frustrated, I contacted Joe who came highly recommended by a neighbor. I simply wanted answers and a permanent solution to my water problem. Joe responded immediately -- which is HUGE when you've tired of an "issue." En route with kids to summer day camps, Joe asked me to send photos to his phone, and within a few minutes I was finally communicating with someone who could help me resolve the matter. Joe met me the same day to confirm his initial thoughts on how best to tackle the problem. He is punctual, conscientious, and does quality work. I'm glad to say that I'm no longer monitoring the Weather Channel on-line for local radar and obsessively checking my bulkhead for water!

Joseph Cavallaro showed up right on time went right to work was informative and courteous. I had several bulkhead repairmen out and Joe was the only one able to figure out just what I needed. He did this in a timely maner that was also cost efficient. I would use him again, as for as I am concerned he was the only one who really knew his job.

Called Joe for an estimate and he was very responsive to set-up a time to meet. He gave an estimate right away and explained the job clearly with confidence. He fabricated and painted the bulkhead himself and did a great installation - adapting it to the existing base, field stone, and brick. He was very neat and left the area immaculate. A true professional and gentleman. Pleasure to do business with.

I contacted them because they had some decent reviews. He was very nice and explained everything that would be needed. We just chose not to do that project at that time. They were punctual and knowledgeable.

Everything was excellent and he did a terrific job. He removed an old rotting out door and did an excellent job of replacing it and I was very happy with it. I would tell others that he did excellent work, was good about returning calls and very prompt about doing things when said he would. I would recommend him highly.

I had the original bulkhead that came with the house circa 1963. The steps were wooden and the sides were wooden. It was falling apart and the holes in it were flooding my basement and letting in mice. I had to call a few places because 2 of them had big equipment that would require cutting down trees to get it in my back yard. One of them recommended The Bulkhead Man and he was able to do it because he installs the prefab bulkheads and gets them through with a little Caterpillar-like machine. He came when he said he would, worked like a dog, and finished the whole thing in 2 days. He had to pound out the old foundation and then haul it away. There was no debris left in the yard and no mess left in my basement. Of course none of that would matter if the thing still leaked, but we just had many consecutive days of rain and then yesterday a "nor'easter". Dry as a bone.

He was excellent. He came here within two weeks time after we called him. He had an assistant and they were here for ten hours a day for three days. He was very professional and did everything by hand and did not use the crane which I really liked.
