Floros Plumbing and Heating

I called Petros this morning because we had a leak on on property on the second floor that was flowing down to the ceiling on the first floor. He was very professional on the phone, arrived in about an hour, and promptly did the work. His cost was very reasonable. To top things off, he called me with a summary of what happened, the work done, and told us what to be on the look-out for. I was flabbergasted at such a great experience. We hope to Floros Plumbing again. Great work!

I called him stating the problem. He requested that I send him photos of the faucet. He promptly got back to me with an estimate and came back later to do the job. Very professional.

Petros was very responsive and efficient. He came in twice, the first time to replace a garbage disposal and second time to reconfigure a water supply line in the basement. Both times he thoroughly explained what he was going to do prior to the coming to the house so we knew what to expect. Very friendly plumber, great to work with!

On the Saturday of the 4th of July weekend our hot water heater decided to go into retirement. We called about 10 places before calling Floros. He walked us through the problem over the phone, said he had a unit in stock, gave us the price over the phone, and immediately headed over and completed the job.

Called at 3:30 on a Friday afternoon. Water heater let go. No hot water. They were at the house within 45 mins and completed the job perfectly. Extremely customer focused, professional, and quality work. Would absolutely use them again.

bottom line, they took my information. They said they would call back. they never did.

Petros was very pleasant, and willing to come out to take care of our plumbing, even late on a Sunday night. The existing pipe was a touch too short so the nut connecting the pieces cracked. He did a nice clean job and we no longer have an unreliable pipe!

Floros Plumbing was very responsive, and available to do the stove installation the same day that I called. The job was completed with no problems, and everything was explained to me along the way. Although the service was great, I feel that the price was high for this job.

Petros Floros is an excellent plumber. I had first called another plumber who struggled and couldn't repair a leak on a pedestal sink.. The contrast between the first plumber and Mr. Floros could not have been greater. The first plumber gave up and suggested that I install a flexible plastic drain pipe. A check on the internet showed that this pipe violated the building code. I called Mr. Floros who came the same day and had no problem replacing the drain pipes in full compliance with the building code. Mr. Floros is highly competent, very friendly and works very rapidly. Before leaving, I mentioned that I had a faucet in the basement which was unusable because the hot and cold handles had seized and could not be turned. He quickly assessed the problem and very carefully was able to open both faucets. I had previously shown this problem to two other plumbers who were afraid to even touch the faucet and tried to persuade me to replace the entire fixture. I do not believe that you can find a better plumber. I give him my highest recommendation.

This is the second time I have used Mr. Floros services. He answered his phone when I called, no need to leave a message. He gave a good estimate for the work and when the work was done he charged me the quoted price. He came a day before and disconnected my range and came the next day after the new range was installed to hook it up. Great service, quick and efficient. Other plumbers either did not call back, gave a higher quote or wanted to come at the time of range delivery (which is hard as the time window of delivery is wide). We are very happy with his services.

He defrosted the pipes and returned hot water service to my home.

As busy as he was, he fit me in and fixed my furnace (it was 10 degrees out). He was very pleasant and came sooner than I thought he would!

I called him and he asked me to send a picture of the faucet. So texted a picture of the faucet. He texted back "I'm sorry I don't recognize the fossett without being able to recognize it I don't believe I'll be able to fix it." He's been a great service to me 2 times before this. But I was really disappointed with this response.

After calling over 10 plumbers with a relatively short 2 day notice during biting cold, Mr. Floros returned my call and was happy to fit me the afternoon I needed service. He was very personable, knowledgeable, reasonably priced and worked quickly but with careful attention to detail. The work was impeccable - I couldnt be happier! He even stayed late for me on a Friday night.

Mr Floros responded quickly to my Angie's list emails, calls to his cell phone and texts. Because the work was not an emergency, it took a few weeks to schedule getting it done but in return for my flexibility he showed good flexibility with price. When the work was scheduled, he arrived on time, got right to work and completed the job in the estimated time. He provided high quality replacement parts made in the USA. I will use him again if the need arises and can recommend him to you.

Mr. Floros solved the immediate problem quickly and gave great recommendations on longer-term improvements. He is punctual, friendly, responsive, and efficient.

He's such a nice guy. Very knowledgable, neat, careful. Called me right back and came very quickly too. Petros always go beyond my expectations.

Petros came shortly after I place a call. He worked quickly and efficiently. He gave me options for replacing both toilets when I am ready to do so. I would definintely call upon him again for any kind of plumbing work. He was very good to get here so quickly. He was very pleasant, and his work was very good. He is a keeper.

Initially Petros secured the two toilets and thought the job was done. He left and when I came home I found a bit of water around the floor seal. I flushed the toilet and water came gushing out. I called Petros and he came back immediately and took the toilet apart. He found the flange was completely brittle and breaking apart. He replaced the flange and sealed the toilet. The whole job (including both visits) took 2.5 hours. $300 in labor cost, $170 in parts. I'm very satisfied with the work. As a side note, Petros mentioned that his parents were flying in tonight from Greece and he ultimately was not able to pick them up at the airport himself as planned because he wanted to finish our job today rather than leave it until tomorrow. I'm impressed by his work ethic.

I initially emailed him on the Angie's List site on 12/7 and he responded promptly that day. He was professional and courteous both on the phone and in person. He was able to perform the work the next day on 12/8. I was very pleased with his work and thought the charge/price for the work was quite reasonable. I would definitely call him again for any work I need done.

Petros was wonderful. He was very responsive to my call and was able to come out to my house within a few days. He ended up getting stuck in traffic on his way over and arrived slightly later than he originally planned, but he kept me very updated on his arrival time and was quite apologetic. Because I knew where he was the whole time, I didn't mind that he was late. Petros was there to reroute an event pipe in the wall of my bathroom so I could install a recessed medicine cabinet. He was quick and cleaned up well and did a very good job. He also happily fixed a running toilet while was there. I would recommend Petros highly.

He came and he was out within 45 minutes. He resealed the fixtures and it was an old toilet. He has done work for us before. He is the cheapest plumber I ever had and he is available and he calls back.

He called me back and he said within a day. He was out within the day and he go the work done and we had hot water.

e'd had another plumber come out a few weeks previously to install a toilet and it had recently started leaking into the basement, and we'd noticed water coming through from the shower/bathtub too. Petros came on a Saturday (around 6pm) to help us with the issue because my husband and I just couldn't take more time off work for this persistent plumbing issue. He diagnosed the shower situation within 30 seconds, noticing that the tub is slightly tilted and thus water was accumulating in a corner and leaking into the basement occasionally. He told us how we could easily fix this ourselves (since we like to DIY things where possible). Then he re-seated the toilet, and when he removed the toilet it was clear that the other plumber hadn't done a very good job -- the wax ring wasn't fully smushed. Petros used an extra thick wax ring, and it took him all of 10 minutes from start to finish. He explained what he was doing every step of the way, and even got along well with our cat. We'll definitely be calling him next time we need a plumber!

Floros team was very responsive. We scheduled the appointment for the following day. Service was great! I was very pleased!
