While I am normally against using pesticides, I gave in when the ants began take over. A-Z came over promptly, inspected the whole area, then sprayed only the area of the spa house floor. The ants were coming from below the floorboards. The problem was resolved without another visit and We haven't had the problem since. I would call them again if necessary. I can't recall the price, but I think it was within my comfort zone, or I would have called another business for an estimate.

Bruce is terrific. He set traps, caught squirrels & repaired the fascia on the eaves where they were getting access. He was prompt, friendly & very professional. He made 3-4 trips then came back a week later (at no charge) when i thought I heard something up there.

I was very pleased, I felt he went above and beyond for me. His prices were really fair and I would recommend him to everyone.

I thought I had a raccoon in my attic, and ignoring the problem wasn't working! I decided to join Angie's List for help on finding someone who could remove the raccoon. I emailed A to Z and got a response immediately. I followed that with a phone call explaining the situation. Bruce came the next morning (Wednesday) and set 3 traps, but no raccoon was caught even though he came daily to check while I was at work. He came on Saturday morning (arriving right on schedule), and climbed into my attic to inspect it. Finding no raccoon (although there was evidence that one had been there), he changed the trap to one that would catch squirrels instead. He returned on Sunday (at my convenience), but all that had been caught was a mouse. He again changed traps to catch more mice, and left the traps for several days to see what would happen. When the traps were empty and the bait uneaten, he felt that whatever had been in the attic was now gone. He secured all of the entry points (gable vents), I paid him and we thought we were done. However, after a couple of quiet nights, I spent one long night listening to a raccoon desperately trying to eat her way out of my attic! I called Bruce early the next morning and told him what had happened. He came immediately and saw that the raccoon had eaten all of the louvers in one gable vent right off, but was trapped by the wire mesh that Bruce had installed. He opened the mesh and we waited for the raccoon to leave. After several days, I heard her return, and this time he was able to set a trap again and she was finally caught! I should mention that the raccoon had hidden herself in the cathedral ceiling over my living room and was not in the attic when Bruce inspected it. Bruce went far and away beyond what I expected of him. He was prompt, courteous, friendly, and above all, honest with me at all times. I felt very comfortable dealing with him (I am a single woman living alone). I would use him again whenever I might encounter a problem, although I have lived in this home for 35 years and never had this experience before. I would also highly recommend him.

Bruce was recommended by one of his competitors. Before his first visit I asked for an estimate, which he gave. I asked if he would agree to that price even if he wasn't able to remove the racoons right away. He did and over the course of almost a week he came every day. We had a mother and 6 or 7 babies in our attic. He was able to track their movement with a motion sensitive camera. He even came on Easter day!

I saw baby mice in my bedroom and caught three myself. I was flipping out and called another pest control service who was not taking new clients, and suggested Bruce. I phoned him and was shocked when he said he'd be out that afternoon. He came, inspected the whole house and determined the mouse problem was likely a pregnant mouse who'd had a litter, and that there was not a whole infestation. He was amazing and fast, very reassuring, and had a sense of humor when I jumped on the bed when he opened my closet door. He was fair and honest, and was very kind to my little son. He said the work he'd done would do us for a year or two, but I'd have him back in a heartbeat. I couldn't believe I got service the same day, never mind such great service, above and beyond, if you ask me.
