Paul Monteiro is my go-to guy for fixing my appliances. He is honest, his work is exceptional and his pricing is very good. He has kept some of my older appliances going long after their life span should have ended. And he's been honest enough to tell me when repair is no longer an option, and it's time to get a new appliance. You don't find that kind of honesty around much these days. Thank you, Paul. I would recommend him to anyone at any time.

The first time I called JP, he was responsive and courteous. I told him my dryer was no longer working - it's an older unit. He told me he would come out and take a look and give me an estimate. When he came out, he told my wife (who was home when he got there) the fuse was blown and he would replace it. He spent 30 minutes (my wife was at home while he was there) and charged $179. This was a bit frustrating for two reasons, it was expensive and he didn't give her an estimate. With that said, he did the work and the dryer was fixed. However, about 3 or 4 weeks later, the dryer stopped working again. I called JP and he came out a couple days later and replaced the fuse at no cost - which I was very appreciated.
Last week (right before thanksgiving) the dryer stopped working again. I called JP today to see if he could come out and take a look and was astonished with his attitude. He was rude and *extremely* unprofessional. It was so bad, I'm thinking maybe he was drunk (10 am on a monday morning)? He told me the last time he came out was sometime in the summer and he knows this because he was wearing a t-shirt. Therefore, he's not coming out again because he can't guarantee his work for the rest of his life. Then, again right before he hung up (without saying bye), he said, "unless I'm your a distant cousin, I'm not guaranteeing my work for the rest of your life".
All that to say, JP seemed to do decent work, but I would definitely NOT recommend him based on his unprofessional/nasty attitude.

.Mr. Montiero arrived promptly, on time, and fixed the leak, which was apparently the result of hoses that had loosened inside the machine. He didn't say anything, but I think he also adjusted the levelling on the machine because I noted that when I ran the first wash after he left, the machine didn't vibrate as much as it had previously. He was professional, courteous, and timely. I'd use him again in a heartbeat

They did an excellent job and charged between $100 and $150 each time for the repairs. I'd use them again and recommend them to others!
