The owner came first to see the work and give an estimate, set a date for the work. Everything done as promised. Pleasant employee did the job. It was good to find someone so professional to do this small job.

Fast, skilled and efficient workers, final product is beautiful, clean up was terrific. Slight issue with damaged tree was taken care of immediately.

Mike contacted me two days after I called because it was a holiday. We responded via text at first, then he came out and look at the job, which he then email the contract. That was perfect for me because my husband and I had time to go over and formulate any questions or concern we had. Mike came back out to the house, answered all our questions, took 1/3 of the asking price. Came to do the work three weeks after and in three days it was finish. They did a great job. I had five other companies talks a look at the job in which three was cheaper than Mike but his attitude, responsiveness and me adding additional work onto it, he did not raise the price.

Workers arrived punctually and wasted no time. At the end of the day materials were cleaned up and area was neat.

They worked very hard - even though it drizzled part of the day. They worked efficiently and kept the areas clean as they worked. They had a decent sized crew and were very professional. since the rain delayed working on the flat roof they stayed until the job was finished. They did finish the job in one day. When the job was finished the foreman walked me around the job and showed me what they did.He encouraged me to get in touch with the owner of the company with any questions either through phone or e-mail. I would highly recommend this company to do any roofing job that needs to be done.

Overall, it was a good experience. They were able to schedule the work according to my time table, and they had the lowest of the bids that I received. In fact, the work turned out to be more extensive than they anticipated, but they never raised the final price which I thought was great. Plus, I received an Angie's List discount. What's more is that they even came back to do some gutter work and didn't charge for it.

Viola Roofing did a fantastic job on my roof in just one day. They organized all the permitting and cleaned up thoroughly after the very messy job. They replaced an old tar paper and gravel roof which had been repaired badly fifteen years ago and did the job very professionally. They arrived when they said they would and finished the job in less than the time they estimated. Their pricing was highly competitive and they responded quickly to any questions we had. Wonderful!

Mike came to the house to give us an estimate and came in lower than the other four companies that we had checked out. He estimated that they would start the job in one month, however 2 weeks later he called and said they could do it that week. The supplies were delivered the day before the expected work day. They showed up on time at 7am on the scheduled work day and stripped the existing roof, cleaned the gutters, installed soffit vents, a ridge vent, and all new roof by 5pm the same day. Their clean up job was very good just a few random pieces of shingle could be found around the house, and a few nails have been found as well. I would say overall they did an excellent job and we were very happy with the result!

He does outstanding work. He had the most competitive estimates in the area. He cleaned up very well, didn’t leave any mess. He came out for an estimate just a few days after calling and the work was complete within a week from the estimate. I have been referring him ever since!

I haven't had a problem since. Would highly recommend Mike and Viola Roofing. Honest, professional, promopt and know what they are doing.

I original called Viola for a estimate on one leak. Between hiring and the work being done, I discovered a second leak. Brian was scheduled to come out Saturday morning. He was almost an hour early. Which was great for me because I had a family reunion to get to and I was worried about the time. He came and fixed both spots. He explained why it was leaking and answered all my questions. Viola Roofing did a great job and exceeded my expectations with their efficiency and professionalism. From the beginning Mike Viola communicated quickly with the estimate and any follow-up questions from me. Then after he was awarded the job he stayed in contact to let us know eventually when our job would be scheduled. The crew of 10 arrived on time at 7a and worked like a well trained sports team to efficiently finish the job in 12 hours. By 7p my yard and patio were clean, I had a beautiful new roof, my home and grounds looked spotless with no evidence of all the work that had been done during the past 12 hours. I had some questions the next day and Mike replied to my emails within an hour -- maybe even quicker. Then a few days later I called Mike because there was an adjustment that was required that only could be seen from inside my attic. He sent someone out the next day to make the adjustment - no attitude -- just excellent customer service. The crew was respectful of my property and other than the normal noise from tools they were quiet and focused on their work. Interestingly, another roofer working at a neighbors home came over to my house to comment on what a beautiful job was done.

It was a great experience to work with Mike. I had originally gotten an estimate from another company highly rated on Angie's List. This contractor asked for around $6000 more for the same service -- a whopping percentage increase. When I showed him Mike's estimate, he said that one of them must have measured my roof incorrectly; he also said that his estimate included various upgrades. Mike's offer included all these upgrades as options (only charging $1000 extra for all of them). In the end, I went with Mike, and with some of the upgrades, which were inexpensive, if perhaps unnecessary. The crew worked incredibly fast and were very professional. Everything was left in order. They even coordinated with my painters to get the gutters installed after the painting was finished.

From beginning to end this project went smoothly and I was very impressed with Viola Roofing. They quickly responded to our request for a quote and had someone out to look at our old roof within a few days. The written proposal was sent a couple of days later by email and the price was excellent for the amount of work to be done. Mike Viola responded quickly by email or phone to any/all questions and kept us informed of the scheduling and progress of the job. It took two days to complete. A dumpster and shingles were delivered a day in advance and then the crew showed up right on time both mornings and quickly got to work. The crew was polite and professional and clearly has a lot of experience in the roofing business. I particularly appreciated how careful they were in putting up tarps around the house and on our porches to protect the house. They also did an excellent job of cleaning up any debris and used a magnetic sweep on the yard and driveway, as well as on our very close next-door neighbors driveway to make sure no nails were left behind. A member of the crew walked around the house with me to show me certain details of the new roof once the work was finished and make sure I was happy with the job. Mike also followed up by email. The new roof looks great. I would definitely recommend Viola Roofing to anyone in the area. They take great care in their work.

Viola did a terrific job on my roof. Viola was timely, professional and did an excellent job. One item they ran out of on Saturday and said they would be back at the beginning of the week to complete. I was a bit concerned but true to their word - they were back at the house before noon on Monday to complete the job. Thanks very much for doing such a wonderful job for me.

The person sent out to give the estimate arrived when he said he would so we were able to meet him. He thought there were 2 layers of roofing material and gave us an estimate based on that. The workers arrived on the day they said they would and found that the job was bigger than originally thought. They finished the job in one day and honored the quote.

The staff was here when they said they would be. The owner stopped by to see that everything was going along as per the detail quote provided. After the team left upon completion, I noticed a piece of foam that was left on the roof. I emailed Mike and within about an hour, the worker stopped by, climbed up and removed the foam. I viewed this as a very responsive part of their work. I was also able to take advantage of paying by credit card that gives me points, as well as, using my Angie's coupon to save as well. At this point, I recommend the use of Angie's list and Viola Roofing if you have roofing needs.

He came and did the estimate and I didn't hear from him for about a week so I didn't know if he forgot about me. But he did a good job. He was here for more than an hour and he charged me $600. The roof doesn't leak so I can't complain about that.

Needed a new roof on an investment property, and received quotes from six different roofers--both big and small outfits. Mike got back to me right away, and was very friendly and responsive. Within a day, he visited the property and was able to give me a thorough assessment of what was needed. He soon sent me a written estimate that contained a detailed description of proposed work and offered these services at a very competitive price. Upon receiving--and not receiving!--estimates from the other roofers I had contacted, it was quite clear that Mike's offer was the strongest, and I scheduled the job with him. In a few weeks, Mike's brother Brian showed up with their crew, and by early afternoon I had a brand new roof on my property. Before leaving his crew carefully cleaned up my entire yard. By the time they were done, the new roof was the only evidence they had ever been there. The roof--as well as all the flashing and gutter work--looks great and I am extremely happy.

My Mom & I were very happy about the quality and workmanship that Viola Roofing had provided. Due to unstable weather conditions, the project was delayed for a bit. However, when the crew showed up they were professional and diligent. The roof was replaced in one day! My hat's off to the crew for working in 90 degree + heat! Everything went smoothly. They showed up on time, stripped the roof, replaced the damaged plywood where needed and the cleanup was flawless. Even my neighbors were impressed at the speed and efficiency that they had witnessed. Viola Roofing has definitely earned a stellar review this very happy customer. We went with Mike's company due to his high Angie's List reputation and his good bid on our project. He was amenable to negotiating some contract terms to our liking, and was generally fairly communicative during the setup process. The one thing which was somewhat unsatisfactory about that process was that Mike couldn't do the job until several months after his initial estimate. The winter was a tough one, true, but he wasn't very proactive in letting us know changes in the scheduling of our job. I would appreciate more upfront communication about that. The job itself was done REMARKABLY quickly, and the cleanup was reasonably thorough, though I'm still finding the odd roofing nail here or there. I can't really speak for the quality of the work (I'm no contractor or roofing expert) but it looks great and doesn't leak or anything like that! Can't really ask for more, and I'm hoping that Mike's good reputation will yield me a great roof that lasts a long, long time.

Mike Viola was most accomadating in helping us choose the color of the roof. He gave us several address where he had installed roofs with the colors of roofs we were considering. We were able to see what they would look like. All the work described above was performed in a most professional manner. The crew arrived on time, and were finished in one day. The chimney flashing looked much better than the original when the house was built. The price was 30% less than another highly rated roofer on Angies list. We have had some torrential rains since the roof was installed and no problems. We couldn't be happier with the result.

He hasn't sent me the invoice yet. I have asked him a few times for the invoice but he hasn't sent it to me and as long as everything is fine when it rains, I am okay with it. I sent him an email and he came out the next day, and said that he would come in a couple of months but then he sent me an email to say that it was done. The quality is good because it has rained heavily since, and nothing has come in.

Everything was great. Once we agreed on a date, they started at that time and finished in the time frame they said. Everyone was very professional and the house looks great now.

He put on a new roof and replaced the facia, corner boards and rake boards. He did some chimney work as well. He replaced some bricks and little rebuilding of the chimney at top as well as the chimney cap as well as replaced some bricks that were lower. It was a rainy day when he did it but he started after the rain stopped. Very professional and very quick. Everything was protected and clean. They were very quick and efficient. The head guy paid attention to what the workers were doing and he supervised them very well. I would highly recommend him.
