Ray was great in his communication for an estimate at the start. He came in and did it quickly. After deciding to go with him we set up an appointment to put in the system. He kept up well with his communication with us about this appointment. Ray was punctual and completed the project in the allotted time. THroughout the process Ray gave us updates and thoroughly explained everything he put in. Some of the valves of our plumbing needed to be changed and he included them at no additional cost. After the system was put in he explained how to use it and what to do if anything should need to be turned off, etc. He also labelled everything clearly for both me and my wife to remember in the future. I would highly recommend Isothermics for anyone that needs a radon mitigation system installed.

I called Ray and we set up a time to conduct an estimate pretty quickly. He was prompt, and though it took some time to receive the actual quote back, I was notified it might take a week or two due to the busy season. After I accepted the proposal, it did take a follow up call from me to get the ball rolling but that was not a big deal... My sense is the reason he is so busy is that he has such excellent follow up related to the systems he installs. He worked very hard to get the system installed in the absolute best way possible. It took a lot of extra time and elbow grease to fit my particular systems into the least intrusive location, but Ray stuck it out and made it work functionally as well as aesthetically at no additional cost. I'm sure others might have just stuck the pipes out of the side of the house like a sore thumb and moved on. Ray kept me well-informed of the progress along the way. Once everything was installed, I received a full tutorial on how the systems worked, and Ray was able to explain in a way I could easily understand). When Ray came out to get the results from the follow-up radon test, he noticed a possible slow drip in one of the fittings, and made an extra trip out to re-fit things just to be sure the potential issue was no more. This guy clearly takes a lot of pride in his work, is very honest and knowledgeable, and his prices were very competitive and very reasonable. I feel confident that my family is in good hands radon-wise for many years to come.

The gentleman was very nice and courteous. However, he came out for an estimate but never returned our phone calls afterward. Needless to say we had to go with another company.

He has fixed a lot of our radon system that was broken or not working properly. He was very thorough and he told us exactly what was wrong before he fixed it. We never at any point felt uncomfortable or unsure of what he was telling us because it was very obvious to see that it wasn't taken care of like it should have been. He spent about 6 or 7 hours, but we haven't gotten the bill as yet. He is also very interested in educating us so that we know how everything works and why he is. If there is something he can salvage he will go with that. One of the lids of our tanks had to be replaced and he called the company to see if it was still under warranty and even though it wasn't he was able to fix some clamps on the lids and we were able to save a couple of hundred dollars on that. He seems to be very honest and reliable.

I received an estimate upfront. Ray was on time for all appointments and the project was completed on schedule and on budget. I was most pleased that he took time to carefully and fully explain everything he was doing. He also built the system in such a manner to cover continguences in case the original installation for some reason or another failed to fully reduce our radon sufficently, which I also appreciated even though they were not needed.

AFTER HE LEFT OUR HOUSE ON SATURDAY MORNING WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED A PHONE CALL OR LETTER WITH ANY TYPE OF ESTIMATE. IT HAS BEEN NEARLY 2 MONTHS.

RAY WAS EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB WITH EDUCATION AND INSTALLATION. MY BROKER SAID IT SHOULD BE ABOUT A $1000 JOB TO DO, WHICH IS JUST ABOUT WHAT HE ENDED UP CHARGING, AND HE DID MORE THAN I EXPECTED.
