Was quoted $200 for a dishwasher install. All parts were provided by me. It was delivered by Home Depot but they did not provide installation. My problem is not with the installation at all. The worker was very polite and did an excellent job, installing the dishwasher in less than 45 minutes installation. Once he arrived, I was giving a bill for $415, double what I was quoted. I voiced my dismay at the difference and he called his boss who suddenly was able to change the cost to $315. So, I would be paying him at a rate of over $400 per hour for ONLY LABOR. Seems a bit exorbitant, do not you think? Now here is where the really ridiculous part happens. My check bounced due to a deposit not clearing in time. Minor error. It happens. Most businesses will wait a day or two and resubmit it. They called me and claimed they tried to submit it three times. I check with the bank and it is immediately apparent that they are lying and have only attempted once. I asked them to submit it again because I get paid tomorrow. I never refused to pay though they acted as if that was what I was doing ð . Instead they lied about the original quote, then told me they were going to send police to my house. 𠤯 Seriously?? What is this? The 17th century? Would I be going to debtor prison? I do not think they know how the law works. So, they will be paid as I promised.... and then I am going to make certain that everyone in 100 mile radius knows about their shady tactics. This is not a good company at all. I feel sorry for the plumber because he was quite nice, but their management is the most unprofessional company I have dealt with in decades. PLATINUM HOME SERVICES? More like tin foil.

Honest in terms of pricing and in terms of what needed to really be replaced. Another company claimed my AC was leaking fluid and needed to be replaced. Platinum Home Services detected no leakage so no need to replace the AC unit. Unbelievable.

Steve was punctual, courteous and professional. Completed getting the AC running in a very short time.

I was specific that on the phone with the company that I didn't want to replace the whole ac unit. Not only did they charge 99$ for a service call that was an estimate of recommendation to replace the whole unit. I guess they fooled me and got away with it. Oh and by the way they could make some repairs that they could not guarantee for only 3,000$ plus. Which is a third of 3 other companies that came out. Home advisor where did you dig this company from????!!!! So dishonest!!!!

My AC stopped blowing cold air, so I used Home Advisor to find them. Within 10 minutes of choosing them as my desired pro to come do the job, Platinum Home Services contacted me and sent someone out WITHIN THE HOUR!!!! Best service I think I've received. My AC is running COLD now!! Will use them for all future HVAC needs!

My furnace had inexplicably shut down. They came the same day, figured out the problem and got it working again within the hour.

They came when they said they would, they were courteous, clean and left with my system working.

Steve arrived within the window of time given to me. He was a crackerjack ace skilled technician who was able to diagnose the problem with my boiler and fix it. It took a while to figure out what was wrong, but he eventually was able to replace a zone box. This cost me $375, which seemed like a lot, but, I was so happy to have my boiler fixed, that it was worth it for the peace of mind and to get my heating system back up and running.

Platinum Home Service responded immediately. I was able to schedule the time for the project for my convenience. The service person (Chris King) was excellent, explaining what needed to be done, and was very efficient in removing the old water heater which could not be repaired, obtaining a new one, and install8ing it. As an extra feature, the gas furnace was cleaned thoroughly at his suggestion while the water heater was out. This was a good idea as it had not been cleaned recently, and the water heater placement in my small basement normally made that hard to do. The operation of the furnace and water heater was checked and he checked the hot water from all faucets allowing any debris to pass through. Throughout Chris was very congenial answering all of my questions (including the dumb ones). A great job.

They asked me to specify what it was I needed/wanted, and quoted a price. Excellent phone service -- precise, polite, efficient. Technician arrived at the appointed time, and performed the service. Fee charged was probably average --

got 3 quotes for h/w & furnace replacement, very tight closet. Platinum came in equal to 1, and 800 less than the other. The clincher was tech Chris who did quote and install. pride in his work, he and Ian were great and did an excellent job. furnace won't be fired up for a bit but they back their install. special kudos to Christine in the office who put up with my calls and was extremely helpful through the whole process! thank you all.

Overall, a great experience!

My a/c stopped working during a heat wave and I fully expected to be taken for a ride on the fee to fix it. They came right out and fixed the issue and thankfully did not charge me an arm and a leg.

My water rusted out and started pouring water into my basement. After cleaning up, I went and bought a new one. I went through Home Advisor to find someone to install it. Platinum Home Service called back right away. They had someone at my house that afternoon and the final cost was less than I was expecting. Definitely recommended.
