They gave me a three hour window for the same day and called a half hour before they showed up. The technician was great he explained what was wrong and how much it will cost and repaired the problem right away

They were dependable and did a good job.

I hired Platinum Home Services to install a new gas furnace in my home. I wasn't home during the installation (my wife was), and, from what she told me, the installers were professional, friendly, punctual and hard working. However, when I went down to the basement 2 days later, there was water all over the floor, which I had to wet-vac and pump 2 5-gallon buckets worth. Fortunately, I caught it before the water made it to the finished part of my basement. The install was done on a Friday, when I called Sunday morning hoping to get someone out to my house ASAP (their website states that they provide emergency service), I got voicemail and had to leave a message. After not hearing back, I called 2 hours later. This time someone answered and told me that they couldn't send anyone until the next morning (Monday). When the service tech came out on Monday morning, the realized they forgot to turn on some sort of pump or drain that was attached to the furnace, hence the water all over the floor. When I got home that night, I went to check the basement (again, it was my wife who was home during the service call) and the water that had been on the floor since I pumped/wet-vac'd it last was still there. You think they would have cleaned it up seeing that this was their error? So, to summarize, furnace appears to have been installed somewhat successfully at what I believe was an average price ($3,100), but a potentially damage-causing error was made and there was no urgency on the part of Platinum to get it resolved. When they did come to resolve it, all we got was basically an 'oops, our bad' (I'm paraphrasing here) and no attempt to cleanup the mess that was made. I am not one to only write negative reviews. I try to complete all surveys and reviews that are sent to me as I believe they are helpful to others. In fact, the last plumber I got from Home Advisors was great and I wrote a glowing review stating such. I tried to get him for this furnace install, but he doesn't service that area. Anyway, it's stressful enough (financially and otherwise) having to replace a major item like a furnace. And mistakes happen. I get it. But you would think that, for the money you're paying, you'd get better service and a better response when a mistake is made.

I called and set up the appointment yesterday fo the service person to come today (the next day) between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. he came at 9:10 amd set right to work. He was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Cannot ask for anything more!

Sean was extremely knowledgeable and professional, made recommendations based on what would work best for me. There was honesty and not trying to make incessant repairs. Trustworthy company.

Work was professionally done and polite service given. So far no issues...

house call too expensive: ($175.00) and added one pound of R22 refregerent ($175.00) wich took around 15 minutes and that is expensive compare to other A/C services.

Hired this company based on HomeAdvisor recommendation. Tech didn't make it to the first appt. He came the next day, made repairs, charged us a bundle, A/C quit a few hours later. Long story short, 2 different techs came after him, last one said I needed a new fan motor for $575 more. In the end I said forget it, called my oil heat supplier, tech came the next day, said Platinum's guys had screwed up the wiring, straightened it out and no problem with the fan motor at all. A/C runs great now.

Honesty

I must say they went above and beyond. I came home the day before I was leaving for vacation to find the house 78 degrees. I called them and they came the next day to investigate and the following day to replace.
