Dan was so great to work with. The project was postponed due to issues with the tenants, and Dan was completely flexible and understanding. He was able to fit us is as soon as we were able to move forward, and he was pretty efficient in getting it done, with one exception that was a bit beyond his control. he was always kind and helpful on the phone and gave really good advice.

In the middle of this crazy MA winter, Dan was the only person out of dozens I tried who answered his phone. He was very responsive and helpful, and worked hard to help us out in a tough spot. We had severe ice dams backing up water and causing leaks. Dan got a team here quickly and they did a great job on the roof, removing all the snow and ice. Our leaking stopped immediately. I would highly recommend Dan and plan on using his service again.

Dan is extremely reliable in providing us with snow plowing service. Also offered and provided reasonably priced front-end loader service to remove large amounts of snow that would soon be blocking our garage entrance. Dan also has been extremely helpful in researching ways to fixed our roof ice dam problem quickly. While we did not take him up on this (outside contractor, too costly), he was determined to help us find a solution for which we are truly grateful.

First of all, the fact that he even answered his phone was a miracle?. I was thrilled!! I had tried several others before I had reached Dan. I told him my mother in law is in FLA for 3 months and she had water coming through her ceilings in 3 different rooms. He was very professional asking questions regarding size of home, etc. I had GROSSLY underestimated the size of the house to him. I explained it was a "ranch" (I'm not a home owner) well, it is a ranch BUT it has a very large addition and a two car garage attached. The driveway, etc had barely been plowed? Dan drove down to Westwood, THE NEXT MORNING, to give an estimate/do the job. When he arrived he called and said it was a lot bigger than I had described : / He had arrived alone ( due to my description). Needless to say, I felt HORRIBLE!! I almost wanted to grab a shovel and help him. He started the job alone at 10:30 and ended up calling in a helper, and worked until 6:30 that night. He also came back the next day to finish with those huge dams. I can't say enough about his professionalism, his commitment to the job, and a job very well done!! I would use him again in a heart beat!

Dan and his crew did a great job on the entire project. The kitchen and new mudroom look amazing. Dan answered all of our questions (which we had a lot) and was honest with what would work and not work in the space. He was a great resource to bounce ideas off of and come up with a realistic and budget-friendly approach. Dan also offered a milestone based payment plan that kept payments in line with the work that was being completed, which was a nice option. The only advice for others is to be upfront about the quality of materials you would like to use. There were some materials that we wanted to be better than “builder’s best” quality and it slightly complicated the planning and budget process.

Went great. Worker showed up on time. Did a great job installing the siding. Caulked all of the joints. Dan is very professional, he and his crew have all the tools needed for any job.

Dan was a great builder. He spent so much time with us to meet our needs and get us what we wanted! He was very detail oriented, personable and timely!

The builder arrived as scheduled to assess the job for pricing. His quote was based upon some optimistic assumptions about the extent of the rot damage. The work started as scheduled about 2 weeks after the quote was accepted. When the facial boards were removed more damage was found than was originally assumed. We reassessed the project and decided it would be best to remove a potion of the floor to allow some work to be done from the inside. A fair add-on price was agreed upon to cover the increased scope of the repair. No corners we cut and top quality materials were used throughout. The project was completed in the anticipated time frame. The repair turned out very well and the builder and his crew were pleasant to work with.

Dan did a very good job on a driveway and sidewalk that is not easy to plow. I would use him again

I called Dan about water in my basement after a heavy rain. Dan responded promptly and thoroughly. He traced the basement water leak to the likely problem in overflow from clogged gutters and seepage after a heavy rain. He manually cleaned out the gutters and the hosed them to check their function; we discussed next steps should the problem recur. Dan also helped me evaluate a problem with my washing machine located in the area of the apparent origin of the leak, but unrelated to the leak itself. He further helped me assess other maintenance and repair issues in the house and discussed plans for addressing these himself or referral to trusted professionals (eg exterminator.) Dan was knowledgeable, pleasant, helpful, and communicated well. I would use Dan's help again, and I recommend him without hesitation.
