Bill is incredibly professional and responsive. He knows his business very well and sets very realistic expectations about what will sell and what won't. Anything he doesn't know, he has the ability to research and find the answer. Cleaning out my husband's childhood home after his parents passed was very stressful -- we were able to trust Bill to handle so many of the things that would have been incredibly painful to do ourselves. Do you really want to stand in your parents' dining room and haggle over the price of a table with a stranger? No. But Bill did it for us. Our realtor stopped by the house during the sale and said he was very impressed at Bill's negotiations and with the number of people at the sale. And could you fill a dumpster with your childhood memories and take them to be given or thrown away? No. But Bill did it for us, and at a very reasonable cost that was offset by proceeds from the tag sale (after Bill's commission). I also very much appreciate the range of services Bill offers -- it's really soup to nuts, anything you or a loved one needs help with to transition out of a home. While we didn't take advantage of everything he could have done for us, it was very reassuring to know that if something new had come up, we could have called him and he likely could take care of it. It wasn't easy to locate someone who provides all the services we needed -- many "estate sales" companies are only interested in the items have significant value. I'm so glad we found Bill!
Description of Work: Bill walked through my late mother-in-law's home with us and helped us get a sense of how best to sell or dispose of items that we did not want to keep. He provided options/estimates for a range of services, including moving items to our home, holding a tag sale, disposing of unsold items to donation or trash, and completing minor repair work to prepare it for sale. We felt the pricing was clear and reasonable, but ultimately, we hired Bill to prepare for and conduct a tag sale, then clean-out the remaining items in house entirely. He took what he could for donation and disposed of the rest responsibly. He also arranged for the old piano to be moved out for disposal when we were unable to give it away ourselves.

Calls were returned promptly by the owner himself. Mr. Brody was very helpful in providing clear explanations of Move Management services, and presented pros and cons of DIY, versus hiring a professional. He was candid and objective about ways to minimize costs, rather than promoting his own business. He was willing to return, if needed, whether in two weeks or a few months. I would definitely call on him again.
Description of Work: He advised my client of downsizing options, & moved furniture on short notice.
