Description of Work: Had a big problem with water leakage in my kitchen sink at my condo. Had other plumbers come but unable or did not take the time to fix.Called James Bertino. He responded and came as requested and in a timely manner. Very professional! He had to go out to get a part in and did so in very bad weather , soon returned and completed the job within the hour. No problem since. On my list for the future.

 + -1 moreI did place a call- got a call back late that evening. Returned his call the following morning, he wasn't really interested in the job. Told me that I should call the last plumber I used and try him. It was too bad, because not only did I have the hot water heater put up on blocks, I also put in a sump pump system. I would not use this individual again, I don't think he needs the business.
Description of Work: Move hot water heater onto blocks. Sump pump system installed. Other minor repairs made in kitchen and one bathroom.

 + -1 moreEvan Williams was a delightful young man who completed all the work quickly. He noticed that the dishwasher had been poorly installed by Sears and fixed it. I was so impressed with him that I asked him to look at a bathroom spout that had pulled away from the wall and was bent. He was able to fix that as well. Not only was the work done well but Evan was very polite and I enjoyed chatting with him. The price was very reasonable. I got this company's name from Angie's List and they more than lived up to their reputation. I will call them for all future plumbing needs.
Description of Work: Installed a new faucet and hooked up dishwasher and disposal. Also fixed spout in bathtub and secured the dishwasher which had been improperly installed.

Description of Work: I was a little outside Jim's service area. That's a little problem with Angie's List right now -- they don't have a Worcester-area list, so I have to go marginally to the Boston-area list. So, Jim and I went back and forth several times trying to get the details of my plumbing situation understood. He didn't want to show up and not have the part (understandable), so he needed exact details on the plumbing fixture manufactures and models that I had. I'm not a plumbing expert, so the best I could do was send him a picture. The bottom line, Jim finally decided that it wasn't worth his time to mess around with me, so signed me off with a vague recommendation for me to find someone in the Worcester area. In the end, I think I would have rated Jim higher if he had just said "you're outside my service area" on the first call, rather than trying to be a nice guy and maybe accomodate me. Tough call, tough break. My plumbing is still leaking.

 + -1 moreExcellent experience overall. He and his apprentice arrived promptly and first started on piping the gas line out to our deck for our BBQ. After finishing, they needed to wait for the gas inspector, so they started on the laundry valve. He was prompt, cleaned up after himself, and was simply a nice guy to chat with. Very professional. I would not hesitate to use him again.

 + -1 moreWhen he came to give us the estimate last summer, he included a lot more work that he would do to prevent the possibility of our pipes freezing in the winter and how we needed to put in double the radient heat in the floor due to it's location(second floor with open underneath). I truley expected his estimate to be one of the highest......but he was much more reasonable than any other estimate. The second surprise was his great service! Prompt replys to calls (rare these days), professionalism, excellent work. After the work was done, you would hardly know he had been there. His worker, Evan, was excellent. Very professional, hard worker and he did fabulous work. I would definatly use this company again
