They were prompt and very professional during this project and very reasonable in terms of pricing.

showed up on time, completed in a timely manner. Lovett plumbing provided an estimated window during which we would not have water, which was very thoughtful. They completed the work within that estimated window. They completed the work without disturbing any of the other ancient plumbing which they had to attach to the main. The only thing we didn't like was was that they don't bill in a timely manner. However some people may like that!

Charlie Lovett has been my aging dad's plumber for several years. The home Charlie services is very old and there have been several emergency calls. Charlie has never let us down. He comes promptly and fixes whatever problem there is. He does this at a very fair price. On one occassion he quickly responded to a no-heat emergency to discover it was a blown fuse and did not charge my dad. I cannot say enough good things about Mr. Lovett nor express my appreciation to him for the times he has taken the pressure of me as my dad's caretaker. My wish is that all contractors had the work ethics of Mr. Lovett. It would make home maintenace easier and less stressfull for sure.

Lovett Plumbing was fantastic. Our hot water went out Saturday morning and my husband and I were concerned that we wouldn't be able to get anyone until Monday. We called Lovett and left a message Saturday afternoon, they called back in less than 5 minutes and then Charlie was there in under 2 hours! He diagnosed the problem immediately, explained to us what went wrong, and fixed it on the spot. He was super friendly and very professional. The price was fair and reasonable, especially given the immediacy of response and quality work performed. To have the problem resolved less than two hours after our initial phone call on a weekend is pretty amazing. We will definitely be using Lovett again for our future needs.

I got really good service from them and he responded very quickly. I needed someone to come out very quickly and he was able to do it. He was very helpful and didn't do any unnecessary work. He told me the problem and that was it.

I had been in touch with Charlie Lovett about replacing the spigot and radiator and was waiting to hear back. Then my hot water tank started leaking and I called again. I got an immediate response to the hot water tank call and Charlie replaced the radiator and spigot when he made the emergency call. He was very responsive to the emergency situation.

I have used Charlie Lovett for plumbing repairs before. He is friendly, helpful, and doesn't charge for little repairs! I had a leak in the tile behind my bathtub in the master bathroom and I decided to replace it with a shower. Charlie always came on time, pulled the necessary permits and arranged for the required inspections along the way during the project. He also recommended a tiler who turned out to be excellent. He knew I didn't want to spend a lot of money on this, so he recommended good quality but not expensive materials. I was delighted with his work and will continue to use him.

I am thrilled with my new heating system - it already has saved me hundreds of dollars. The whole process couldn't have been easier. And Charlie took care of getting the rebate from the state.

They were pretty good. They came out very quickly for the quote. The work was started a week later. I was very impressed how quick they were. They did it in a day. I had a problem a month later, they came out an diagnosed it and were prompt in responding to my needs. Everything I wanted them to do they did.

Lovett Plumbing fit us in as an emergency appointment on very short notice. They identified the leak quickly with minimal demolition, replaced the pipe, and left everything very neat when they were done. They worked in an efficient and professional manner.

Job went smoothly. Charlie had to modify the cabinet and countertop a bit for the new stove top because otherwise it wouldn't fit. He did that with great care. While he could of charged me extra for this unanticipated work he chose not too. Would definitely consider him for my other plumbing needs.

Last May, our lemon of a boiler (which came with the home purchase) fizzled out. This was during an unseasonably cold time of year, so we needed to get a new gas-fired boiler ASAP. We found Lovett Plumbing & Heating via Angie's List, and they came out for an estimate promptly and gave us their thoughts on course of action and in particular, what model of boiler would be best. The new boiler would have been $5500, but after getting additional quotes, I was able to get 10% knocked off. Once that was settled, installation was quick and efficient. I was very happy with their service.

Water Heater Replacement - For this job, I called Charlie early one morning since my basement had started flooding from the old water heater and he responded almost immediately. He arrived less than an hour later and installed a new water heater for a very fair price. Both he and the service was awesome. When I called for the bathroom work several months later, it took a couple of days and my calling a second time to receive a return call. The quality of work was excellent but I was a little surprised at the cost as it was approx. 1/3 of the cost of having had the water heater replaced. I should have asked ahead of time so I would have been more prepared, but didn't, and then felt uncomfortable commenting on the price. With all of that said, I would still highly recommend Lovett and will continue to use them myself!

I had been smelling something strange coming from my boiler, so I looked on Angies List, found this local company, and called wtih my problem. They came out right away to check it out. Turned out that is wasn't anything serious. I was relieved to know this and was happy that he was honest with me. He recommended that I get my boiler cleaned prior to the next winter use.

Charlie Lovett was professional throughout, and and demonstrated his experience and knowledgeability in answering my questions; he and his guys arrived on time on the day the job was scheduled, and the work was done efficiently and to a high standard. Lastly, they did a thorough job of cleaning up afterward, which I appreciated, and Charlie subsequently met with me briefly to fill out the contractor's portion of a rebate form. I entered "N/A" for the "Price" assessment because I did not get quotes from competitors, so I have no perspective on this. I gave him a "B" for responsiveness because he seems to be slammed with work and it took him a day or two to get back to me on occasion; this wasn't a big problem as far as I was concerned.

Our heating was not working on the top floor of our house so we called Lovett Plumbing & Heating to see if they could come take a look. The problem ended up being a small one (pressure or air in pipes), but the service provided by Charlie was friendly, professional, and straight forward. I asked for some energy savings advice and he showed me how to turn down the temperature of our boiler. Charlie was over for about 30 minutes so the $95 was fair. A great experience overall.

Excellent service and immaculate installation. My old boiler was extremely inefficient, oversized, was losing water and not worth trying to salvage. A MassSave energy rebate finally convinced me to replace it. Charlie Lovett has done all of my home construction plumbing projects (kitchen, finished basement, gas heaters, etc.) and has been reliable since I met him in 2007. To qualify for the expiring rebate I needed to have the boiler installed within 2 weeks and use the correct efficiency model, and Charlie was able to do quickly and actually finished within a week of me calling him. There was a lot of detailed work to redo all the cast iron piping around the boiler including all new headers and correctly angled loop piping for everything up to the original main in the ceiling. He had multiple guys working together and they managed to finish the install all in one day. The new piping is exactly what the manufacturer install required, is very organized/neat and they managed to make it fit within the tight original space without disturbing any of my finished basement walls around it. They also cleaned up everything and you would never know they were there except for my efficient shiny new boiler. We tested it out before he left and it fires easily and all safety controls and thermostat worked as expected. Charlie helped me fill out the rebate paperwork and I'm very happy with how it was all done and how fast they were able to respond. Another fantastic experience with Charlie and Lovett Plumbing for us!
